Chapter 223 One Change Per Day
After wrapping up filming, Sophia stayed home for several days, sleeping in until she naturally woke up each day. It was absolutely wonderful.
After the photos were edited, Joshua posted them directly on Facebook, and they quickly caused quite a stir.
Many people in the entertainment industry were paying attention to Joshua's movie project.
Especially after the heavy rain at Vast Mountain a while back, many thought the filming couldn't continue.
Unexpectedly, the costume photos came out so quickly.
Fans from various fan bases rushed to the comments section to comment and share.
At the same time, many people noticed the new faces in the costume photos.
"What's going on? Isn't the second female lead supposed to be played by Isolde? And what about this second male lead? I remember it was Alvin when it was announced."
"You're not wrong. Isolde posted on Facebook earlier saying he got injured during filming and had to terminate his contract with the crew, so they replaced him."
"Just saying, doesn't anyone think the actress playing the second female lead is really beautiful? She's absolutely gorgeous, exactly how I imagined Charlotte!"
"She's so beautiful! How can someone have such a great figure? So charming!"
"Doesn't anyone think she looks familiar?"
"Yes, I also think she looks familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen her."
While everyone was discussing heatedly, some comments suddenly appeared, helping everyone solve the mystery.
"Does anyone remember the real and fake daughter incident with the Brown family in Silverlight City? This person is the Brown family's biological daughter!"
"Now that you mention it, I remember too. A while back, someone posted a video online falsely accusing her of malpractice, and a bunch of people got slapped in the face."
"So it's her. Why would she go into the entertainment industry to act?"
"Charlotte and Brad are my favorite couple. I was always worried the actors wouldn't match my expectations, but now I can finally relax!"
"She's really so beautiful. How can someone in this world be so gorgeous?"
Of course, there were also some less harmonious voices mixed in.
"That face is obviously fake. How could anyone naturally look that beautiful?"
"She's not even from the entertainment industry but keeps trending. I never understood why before, but now I finally get it—she was preparing to enter the entertainment industry!"
"I'm about to throw up. She created this academic genius persona before, claiming she developed new drugs. If she's really that capable, why would she go into the entertainment industry to act?"
"Was Isolde the only one seriously injured in such a big production crew? What's the crew even doing? Could it be that money got involved?"
"I think your guess is very likely correct. Joshua is famously strict with his choices, yet this time he chose someone not from the entertainment industry to act. I don't believe there's no money involved!"
...
While everyone was arguing endlessly, an entertainment account suddenly broke the news, saying Isolde was ostracized on set and eventually forced out by money pressure.
Who benefited from this was obvious.
So many bystanders and fans were misled, and Isolde's fans rushed to Sophia's and the movie's official accounts to attack and insult.
"This is so shameless. Can you have some self-awareness? If you want to enter the industry, use proper channels. Why bully our Isolde?"
"How did our Isolde offend you? What grudge do you have! The movie this bitch made is garbage too. I absolutely won't watch it!"
"Someone not from the entertainment industry can get such strong backing from money—did she sleep her way in?"
The comments got dirtier and dirtier, so Sean immediately contacted Sophia.
At this moment, Sophia was in the bedroom of the villa, staring at the scene before her with shock.
She had only gone out briefly. How did her bedroom end up with so many new things when she came back?
Two huge wardrobes, completely filled with all kinds of dresses.
Long ones and short ones.
All styles, all colors.
It could only be described as dazzling.
Sophia stared wide-eyed in shock, looking at Benjamin in disbelief.
"What's going on? Why did you buy so many dresses?"
Benjamin sat lazily on the sofa, legs crossed, his expression unreadable.
Hearing Sophia's question, Benjamin raised an eyebrow slightly. "Don't you like them? I think you look pretty good in dresses."
Sophia retorted, "What don't I look good in?"
Benjamin paused slightly, then chuckled softly. He slowly stood up from the sofa and stopped in front of Sophia.
"Mrs. White looks good in everything."
Sophia snorted lightly, pointed at the wardrobe beside her, and looked up at Benjamin. "Explain, Mr. White."
"Nothing to explain. I just wanted to see you wear them, so I bought them." Benjamin picked out a cream-colored dress from the wardrobe and held it up against Sophia.
"They're all bought according to your measurements. Want to try it on?"
Sophia glared at Benjamin but still obediently took the dress and turned toward the changing room.
No girl can resist pretty clothes, and Sophia was no exception, especially since she really liked this dress.
After a while, Sophia came out of the changing room.
Her long hair, which had been casually draped over her head, was now pinned back with a hair clip.
The cream-colored dress was embroidered with delicate light blue patterns, outlining Sophia's waist as slender and soft, adding a touch of gentle elegance to her temperament.
Benjamin turned to look, a flash of amazement in his eyes.
"Does it look good?"
Sophia stopped in front of Benjamin and blinked at him.
"It looks good." Benjamin's sexy Adam's apple bobbed slightly as his long arm reached out and pulled Sophia into his embrace.
Sophia was caught off guard and found her cheek pressed tightly against Benjamin's chest.
Feeling the strong, powerful heartbeat from his chest, Sophia's lips curved up slightly.
Benjamin had seen others wear this kind of dress before. Amelia liked wearing these dresses.
To be fair, although she was getting older, she was well-maintained, and her face was still very refined and beautiful.
But she didn't look as stunning as Sophia did wearing it.
Benjamin rested his chin on top of Sophia's head, gently nuzzling, a hint of satisfaction flashing in his eyes.
Sophia suddenly lifted her face from his chest and asked in confusion, "I can't wear all these clothes. Why don't you return them? I'll just keep one or two."
"Not returning them. They're all prepared for you." Benjamin glanced at the wardrobe, his attitude particularly stubborn.
Sophia was both helpless and amused. "I can't wear all of them."
"Then change into a different one each day." Benjamin leaned down and kissed Sophia's forehead lightly, murmuring, "I like seeing you in dresses."
