Chapter 212 Female Hooligan
"Sean, help me investigate him."
Sean was stunned for a moment, not quite processing it. He asked somewhat slowly, "Ms. Brown, why do you suddenly want me to investigate Vincent? Did something happen?"
Sophia pondered for a moment, then said slowly, "Just go investigate first. We'll talk about the rest later."
After hanging up, Benjamin happened to walk out of the bathroom after his shower. He was wearing only a thin dark blue robe, his toned abs faintly visible—sexy and tempting.
Sophia looked up and her eyes suddenly fixed on him. She quietly swallowed.
Benjamin's body was really... perfect!
Noticing her burning gaze, Benjamin paused while drying his hair, then walked toward the bed with his long strides.
"Like what you see?"
"Yes."
Sophia answered instinctively, then suddenly realized what she'd said, only to find Benjamin had somehow appeared right in front of her.
He looked down at her, his eyes deep and dark, with a hint of teasing.
Sophia's face instantly turned bright red, making Benjamin chuckle.
He leaned down, rubbing Sophia's shoulders, keeping eye level with her, a smile flashing in his eyes.
"Like looking? Then let you look your fill."
As he spoke, he pulled at the belt of his robe.
Sophia's eyelids twitched hard, and she quickly reached out to stop him. "No, no need! I wasn't looking!"
"Really? Because I saw..." Benjamin raised an eyebrow, the smile at the corner of his mouth deepening.
"I didn't see anything!" Sophia covered her burning cheeks, her sparkling eyes flickering.
Seriously, why did he have to call her out?
Making her look like some kind of pervert lusting after men...
Benjamin chuckled softly. Seeing Sophia was embarrassed, he stopped teasing her.
He dried his hair, lay down on the bed, pulled Sophia into his arms, and held her tight.
A good night's sleep.
The next morning, Benjamin dropped Sophia and Cillian off at the set.
When they arrived at the filming location, they discovered there was a new person on the crew.
More precisely, it was Alvin Jordan, the actor playing the second male lead, Brad.
When Sophia and Cillian arrived, Alvin had just finished getting his makeup done.
He walked up to Sophia proactively, showing a gentle and perfectly measured smile. "You must be Ms. Brown? I'm Alvin Jordan, playing the second male lead. Nice to meet you."
His gaze swept over Sophia, a dark look flashing in his eyes.
Sophia glanced at his extended hand and also showed a faint smile. "Hello."
Alvin sensed her coldness, chuckled lightly, feeling a bit awkward, and prepared to withdraw his hand.
But before he could move, someone grabbed his hand.
He froze, then looked up to see Cillian's delicate face wearing a smile.
"Hello, Alvin. I've heard about you before, and I've even watched shows you've been in."
Alvin hadn't expected this pleasant surprise today. Hearing that Cillian had watched his work, he felt a surge of joy.
Although Cillian was young, he was a top star in the industry, while he was just a third-tier actor.
If he could get on Cillian's good side, his company could probably create some promotional tie-ins later.
Then, becoming popular would just be a matter of time, wouldn't it?
However, excitement aside, he quickly regained his composure. Remembering his purpose for being here, he turned his attention back to Sophia.
"Ms. Brown, may I call you Sophia? We're about to film our scene together. Would you like me to rehearse with you first?"
Alvin was fairly handsome, with a decent build and height, and had many girlfriend fans and wife fans in the industry.
What his fans loved most was his gentle and gentlemanly smile.
However, Sophia had met enough people to know what a real gentleman looked like.
So while her impression of Alvin wasn't terrible, it definitely wasn't good either.
If she couldn't see such obvious attempts to get close to her, she'd be blind.
Sophia politely declined with a light laugh. "No need, Alvin. I need to go get my makeup done first. Please, make yourself comfortable."
With that, she said something to Cillian and headed toward the makeup room.
Alvin probably hadn't expected to be rejected.
Over the years, with his gentle and approachable appearance, he'd won the hearts of many women.
He'd almost never failed.
But Sophia was unmoved, making him almost doubt his own charm.
Only after opening his phone's front camera and looking at his still-handsome face on the screen did he slowly relax.
It wasn't his problem, so it must be Sophia's poor taste.
Before coming here, Isabella had approached him, asking him to get close to Sophia and win her heart.
He'd been confident, thinking that making a twenty-year-old woman fall for him would be easy.
But now it seemed things weren't as simple as he'd imagined.
This Sophia—he didn't know if she genuinely wasn't interested in him or if she was just cold by nature.
But either way, he wouldn't give up.
Alvin slowly narrowed his eyes, watching the direction Sophia had left, a determined gleam flashing in his eyes.
Walking ahead, Sophia suddenly sensed a complicated gaze on her back.
She paused, instinctively turning to look behind her, but found nothing.
She frowned, feeling somewhat uncomfortable about that gaze.
However, being busy with changing clothes and getting makeup done, she soon pushed the matter aside.
When Sophia came out after getting her makeup done, Alvin was stunned.
He knew Sophia was beautiful, but he hadn't expected her to be stunning to this degree. Just standing there, she was impossible to look away from.
Sophia walked over in high heels, step by step, and each step felt like it was treading on his heart. Alvin squinted, feeling his heartbeat become unusually fast.
He was originally supposed to arrive on set three days later, but last night he suddenly received a call from Isabella.
He'd worked with Isabella on a show before.
Isabella was beautiful and very gentle. It happened to be during his single period, so he'd pursued her intensely.
Unfortunately, Isabella never agreed.
Though she didn't agree, she never clearly refused either.
Actually, he knew Isabella was stringing him along, but since his interest in her hadn't faded, he decided to play along.
Later, a lot of dirt about Isabella surfaced online. Isabella's reputation in the entertainment industry was ruined, so naturally she couldn't help him anymore.
So he quickly moved on to other targets.
Until last night, when Isabella contacted him for the first time on her own initiative.
Isabella said that as long as he did what she told him to do, she'd give him whatever he wanted.
A woman offering herself—why refuse? So Alvin came to the set.
He just hadn't expected Sophia to be this beautiful.
