Chapter 133 Nolan

Chapter 133 Nolan
When they arrived at the hospital, Audrey was quickly moved to the delivery room.

She lay on the bed, breathing hard, sweat beading on her forehead. The contractions were getting stronger, each wave of pain making her wince.

Elliot stayed right beside her, holding her hand tightly. His eyes were full of worry, but he tried to stay strong for her.

"You're doing so well, baby. I'm right here." He kissed her fingers, his voice soft but steady.

Audrey nodded weakly, biting her lip against the growing pain. The doctors and nurses monitored her closely, waiting for the right moment.

After what felt like hours, the doctor spoke. "Okay, Mrs. Harrington. It's time to push. When I say, take a deep breath and push, alright?"

Audrey nodded, her eyes finding Elliot's. She was scared, but he was there.

"You can do this, baby." His thumb stroked the back of her hand.

The doctor watched for the next contraction. When it came, she gave the signal. "Now, Mrs. Harrington. Deep breath... and push!"

Audrey pushed with everything she had, gripping Elliot's hand so hard his knuckles went white.

He winced but didn't complain. Instead, he leaned closer, whispering encouragement.

"That's it, baby. You're incredible."

Another wave of pain came. Audrey had to push again. She was exhausted, almost ready to give up—but Elliot wouldn't let her.

"You can do this! I know you can!"

Breathless, sweating, running on nothing but willpower, Audrey gave one final push.

And then—a cry. Loud, fierce, beautiful.

Audrey sobbed in relief, her body going limp. Elliot's eyes went wide, his chest rising and falling as he tried to hold back the emotion building inside him.

"Congratulations," the doctor said warmly. "Your baby is healthy."

After a quick check, a nurse wrapped the tiny, red, perfect newborn in a soft blanket and placed him in Audrey's arms.

Audrey cried as she looked at her son's small face. He was perfect. Tiny fingers. Tiny nose. Everything about him was perfect.

Elliot, who had been trying so hard to hold himself together, finally broke. His eyes burned, and without thinking, he leaned down and kissed Audrey's forehead.

"You're amazing," he whispered, his voice shaking. "Thank you... thank you for bringing our little miracle into the world."

Audrey smiled weakly, looking up at him with bright eyes. "He looks like you."

Elliot let out a small laugh, though his voice was thick with happy tears. "I hope he looks like you. I want him to be as strong and as good as his mother."

The baby blinked, yawned, and fell asleep in Audrey's arms.

And in that moment, Elliot knew—there was no greater happiness than this.

Audrey had been moved to a recovery room, resting comfortably in bed while their baby slept in the bassinet beside her. She was exhausted, but nothing could diminish the joy of watching the tiny life she'd brought into the world.

Elliot sat on the edge of the bed, his fingers gently touching their son's small hand. A small smile played on his lips, his eyes full of wonder.

"He's perfect," he murmured.

Audrey smiled tiredly. "He really does look like you."

Elliot chuckled, stroking the baby's soft cheek. "You carried him for nine months. He's got plenty of you in him too."

The warmth of the moment was interrupted by Elliot's phone buzzing in his pocket. He glanced at the screen. Mom.

He smiled and answered, putting it on speaker when Audrey nodded.

"Elliot! Why haven't you called? I've been worried sick!" Rebecca's voice came through, frantic.

Elliot rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry, Mom. Everything happened so fast. But we're fine. The baby's healthy."

A pause. When Rebecca spoke again, her voice was thick with emotion. "Thank God... Oh, Elliot. You have no idea how worried I was. How's Audrey?"

Audrey smiled. "I'm fine, Mom. A little tired, but everything went well."

"Oh, sweetheart..." Rebecca sounded like she was about to cry. "We're on our way. I'm not missing a single moment with my first grandchild!"

Elliot laughed, looking at Audrey. Her eyes were bright. "We'll be here, Mom."

After the call ended, Elliot turned to his wife, taking her hand gently. "Looks like we're about to have a lot of visitors."

Audrey smiled. "They're going to be so happy."

He nodded, looking back at their sleeping son. "And so am I. This is the best day of my life."

She looked at the tiny baby too. "For me too."

"Thank you, baby." He stroked her hair, then leaned down and kissed her. Soft. Loving. "I love you the most."

It didn't take long for the room to fill up. Rebecca and Kent arrived first, followed by Laura and Javas with a huge bouquet of flowers. Finn showed up last, having delayed a shoot just to be there.

"Where's my nephew?" Finn headed straight for the bassinet, eyes lighting up. "Oh my God, he's adorable! He looks just like me, right?"

Elliot shot him a look. "Don't start."

"I'm serious! Look at that face. That's a Finn face."

Javas laughed, patting his brother-in-law's shoulder. "You're really reaching."

Laura smiled softly at the baby. "He's going to be handsome. The genetics are good."

Rebecca sat on the edge of Audrey's bed, taking her daughter-in-law's hand. "Thank you, sweetheart. For everything. I'm so proud of you."

Audrey's eyes glistened. "Thank you, Mom."

The room grew lively when the topic of names came up.

"We haven't decided yet," Elliot said, looking at his son.

Finn raised his hand eagerly. "I've got one. What about Alexander? Strong. Classic."

Laura rolled her eyes. "Too common. What about Julian?"

Kent joined in. "I like William. A strong name."

"What does it mean?" Audrey asked.

"It means 'resolute protector,'" Kent said. "A good name for a leader."

Rebecca shook her head. "I prefer Ethan. It means 'strong' and 'enduring.' Perfect for our first grandchild."

Everyone started throwing out suggestions. Even Javas had an opinion.

Elliot sat back, rubbing his temples. "So this is going to be a war, isn't it?"

Audrey laughed quietly, looking at her son. He was still sleeping, oblivious to the chaos around him. "Looks like you're going to grow up in a very... expressive family."

Elliot sighed, then turned to his wife. "You carried him. You gave birth. You get to choose."

All eyes turned to Audrey. She thought for a moment, looking at her son's peaceful face. So small. So perfect. A champion in his own right, already.

"What about Nolan?"

The room went quiet.

"Nolan," Rebecca repeated. "What does it mean?"

Audrey smiled softly. "It means 'champion.' After everything we've been through... it feels right."

Kent nodded slowly. "Nolan Harrington. It's strong. It suits him."

Finn looked like he wanted to protest, but finally shrugged. "Okay, I like it. But can I still call him Alex as a nickname?"

"Finn!" Elliot and Laura said in unison.

Everyone laughed.

Audrey looked at Elliot, her heart full. He took her hand, then looked down at their son.

"Welcome to the world, Nolan Harrington," he whispered, pride and love filling his voice. "Our little champion."

And with that, their little family officially began its new chapter—with a name that would follow their son through every step of his life.

After the excitement settled, attention shifted to Laura, who was five months pregnant.

Rebecca turned to her daughter. "How are you feeling? Is the baby healthy?"

Laura nodded, rubbing her belly. "Everything's fine. The doctor said the baby's growing well."

Javas added, "She's been getting emotional lately. Crying at random commercials."

Finn grinned. "That means it's a girl. I've heard pregnant women get more sensitive when they're having a daughter."

"Is that a fact or just something you made up?" Elliot raised an eyebrow.

Laura shrugged. "Sensitive, yes. But we don't know the gender. We decided to wait. We want it to be a surprise."

Audrey smiled warmly, remembering what it felt like to carry Nolan. "It must feel different, being your first."

Laura's face softened. "I was scared at first. But seeing you go through it so well—it gives me confidence."

Rebecca smiled proudly, then turned to Javas. "Make sure she rests. Don't let her work too hard."

Javas nodded. "Of course. I've been cutting back my hours to be home more."

Finn clapped. "Look at you. Mr. Responsible."

Laura looked at her husband with love, then touched her belly. "It's strange. I used to only think about work. Now I'm going to be a mother."

Rebecca's eyes grew misty. "You're both blessings. It feels like yesterday you were children, and now you have children of your own."

She turned to Finn. "And you."

Finn stiffened as all eyes landed on him.

"Behave yourself. No more chasing after inappropriate women!"

"I don't do that!" His cheeks reddened.

Elliot smirked. "What about that manager you were asking Marcus about?"

Finn's eyes widened. "That was—she's just—nothing's going on!"

Rebecca's eyes narrowed. "You owe me an explanation, Finn Harrington."

Finn clicked his tongue while everyone laughed at his discomfort.

The room was warm. Full of love. Full of family.

Elliot looked at his son, sleeping peacefully in the bassinet. He realized—his life wasn't just about work or ambition anymore. It was about the family he and Audrey had built together.

With Nolan's arrival, and Laura's baby on the way, the Harrington family felt more complete than ever. Stronger. Fuller. Overflowing with love.
