Sofia's POV

It been days now and I haven't seen Alexander at home.

Once in the kitchen with Alex's mom, she blurted out.

"Do you ever ask after your husband?" Alexander's mom asked me with an irritating look, simply without what to say, I kept quiet.

"Is this how I'm going to get grandchildren from you both? He is pushing you out and instead of you to make an attempt to stay put, you're falling out too..." She painfully mumbled.

"I can't force him to do something he doesn't want to and beside he doesn't like me." I kept washing the dishes within looking at her to get whatever reaction she had displayed on her face.

"He doesn't like you!? Why the he did he get married to you then?" She asked as tears formed in her eyes. " I need grandchildren, you have a grandmother right? I want a grandchild from you both." This just reminds me about my grandmother whom I haven't visited for long.

I made a mental note to check up on her once I'm free today.

It's Monday and it's the D day to present our designed clothes. I'm super excited about this and how it's going to be.

Well, I'm kinda bothered. I still haven't seen Alexander for a week plus now.

I'm no supposed to bother about him but I can't help it.

What's wrong with me? This same man doesn't care about me neither does he gives a fuck about my feelings.

"Welcome everyone, you can also give a final touch to your designed clothes before hanging them on the mannequin. " Dona announced and everyone started bringing out the designs they made.

I used my eyes to search silently for Raven but I didn't see her. When I called her this morning she promised to he in work early so I couldn't help but wonder why she isn't here yet. Something keeps telling me she's already in work.

" Sorry sir, please have you seen Raven? " I asked and the worker whom I don't know his name gave me a questioning look before smiling.

" Oh Raven, I saw her earlier but I don't know where she is right now. " He replied and walked out with a smile on his face..

I tried calling her umber what it was switched off. I get this feeling something is wrong. Looking round, I spotted her hand bag which clearly means she came to work today.

Then where the hell could she be?

This is getting frustrating. I thought about opening my bag and bringing out the dress I made while Raven is out there probably needing my help.

"Y'all get ready as the presentation of the dresses would be in the next 20 minutes. " Dona announced again and was about walking out when he spotted me.

" Whats wrong? " Has asked with concern laced in his voice.

" I haven't seen Raven and I'm sure she came to work. " I stated worriedly.

" That's shouldn't get you bothered, maybe she went to get something.... Who knows. " He assured.

" But her line is switched off. " I winced.

" Woah! That's a big one. I'd see what I can do about it just continue and do what you're asked to do. " Dona walked out after giving me a shoulder pat.

I stood lonely without knowing what to do when I spotted Marie and Annie coming out from the ladies bathroom lobby. That were smiling like they just won a trophy.

These ladies can't be trusted, I remember clearly when Marie told Raven that she was going to deal with her.

"We have few minutes to go and you're still standing." Amelia, that bitch muttered and nudged me.

"What's your problem!?" I yelled and slapped her across the face.

Dammit!

I'm so angry and didn't realize that I'm acting on impulse.

Everyone looked at me with s shocked expression including Marie and Annie.

"Now, this should be the first and last time you'd try any shit with me or else I'd deal with you and who ever sent you!!!" I glowered and grabbed her hair while she begged for her hair to be released.

I left her and walked out, I'm going to look for Raven... Well we just have 5 minutes left to wear the dress we designed and model it in front of other board of designers. I bet the head of judges, Martin Amos would be here already. Well, I have less than no time left.

I walked into the ladies restroom, where Marie and Annie walked out from a while ago and I heard muffled sounds.

Who the heck would be in there at this dying minute?

"Who's there?" I asked, my heart shuddering.

The voices came louder urging me to go in and when I pushed open the door... Damn!!!!

"Raven!!!" I screamed and began untying her.

No one could do this other than Marie! I'm certainly sure of that!

"Damn! It was so tight, thank goodness you came." Raven muttered but I was way too angry to ever respond to her.

"Hey, hey, slow down..." She coaxed.

"Why the hell did Marie do this to you? What's her problem?" I yelled out in frustration.

"You know, we've been waiting for this day and like I heard few minutes ago, there is just 2 minutes left and we can't let Marie ruin our plans with her evil scheming." Raven advised and sure, whatever she said right now made alot of sense.

"You're right!" I stated and let out a breath of relief.

"Let's go." We both ran out together.

We arrived at the back stage where other workers were and Dona was coming in, maybe to tell us that it's time.

"I'm so sorry fellows but y'all have to wait for extra 1 hour as the board of judges are holding a brief meeting." Dona announced and damn, I heard a sigh of relief.

Oh, there!

I'd deal with Marie.

I was about storming off but Raven held me back instantly.
