"I will stand in front!" Tracy yelled angrily.

They were standing on the podium, ready to start rehearsal for their club opener. About five girls stood around.

"But we always start this routine with Rosa, then we all slowly move out while stripping, Tracy," one of the girls said.

"Well, it's about time we have some changes over here! Besides, she already had her solo set last night, no reason why she should get any more spotlight." She yelled, hogging the pole and refusing to make way for anyone to come to the front.

The girls looked at a loss as they stared from Rosa to Tracy. "Franco said we should—"

"I'm fine staying behind," Rosa announced and took a step back.

She was very satisfied with the money she made last night. That was nearly three weeks' pay in one night. She also wanted to avoid Alpha Nolan as much as she could; she had no intention of standing out.

"Are you sure, Rosa?" One of them asked with concern.

"Yeah, it's fine," she replied and made her way to the back. "I'm perfectly fine at the back. Don't worry."

"Better!" Tracy yelled dramatically.

Rosa rolled her eyes and shook her head. She didn't care what the woman thought as long as she kept her antics far away from her.

It had only been one day and somehow Alpha Nolan had already made her life worse than it was. She wanted to curse him out,  but she just prayed he wouldn't show up today.

The rehearsal went a little chaotic at the start as Tracy kept trying to keep her at the back. It threw the girls' rhythm off at first, but Rosa made sure it got easier.

She knew Tracy wasn't going to budge and they didn't have enough time to take too long to practice a new routine, so she stayed behind and didn't move from her spot. The more hidden she was, the better for her.

Eventually, when Tracy was satisfied with this new routine that kept Rosa hidden, she let the women go prepare for the night. Rosa got dressed for the day, putting on makeup and dressing up alongside the rest of the women.

The night went off without a hitch. They started their practiced routine with Tracy at the front. When the opening show was over, she tried not to laugh at Tracy's disappointed expression.

Alpha Nolan did not appear.

She hoped the rest of the night would go on like that. She walked around the club dressed in exotic apparel, attending to customers who wanted her services.

She was surprisingly getting a lot of requests despite it not being her solo night. She grinned at all the cash stuck in her black bodysuit lingerie.

Halfway through the night, she went back to the dressing room to retouch her makeup and wear a new pair of clothes.

Sometimes, she changed at least three times a night. She always brought enough clothes and whenever she felt like it, she would change her outfits.

Since her signature blue hair was something that was easy to spot, she had fun with the several revealing dresses she could wear, but she mostly wore black and lingerie.

She reapplied the red lipstick and smacked her lips. She also reapplied her black mascara and put on some powder. She stood up and was about to leave when Marie barged into the dressing room.

Her mood immediately soured; she could tell from the waitress's demeanor that a certain person was up to some bullshit.

"Rosa," she cried as she walked in.

"What is it, Marie?" She said with a dark look on her face.

"I haven't even said anything yet."

"Out with it. I can already tell it's something I won't like."

"It’s not. Alpha Nolan is here and he just bought the most expensive drink."

Rosa stared at her with a blank expression. It was clear the waitress wanted her to be impressed, but there was nothing Alpha Nolan could do that would impress her.

Besides, she had been to his house. She was quite aware of how rich he was. Two hundred and fifty thousand for a drink was child's play to him.

He could easily spend millions without blinking an eye.

"What does that have to do with me?"

"Aren't you even a little impressed?"

"Out with it, Marie. The more I hear about this Alpha, the more anger I feel."

"I know you don't like Alphas but he is a big spender. Fine," she quickly added as Rosa seemed to look more and more unimpressed. "He wants you to hold up the sign and lead the procession."

"Fuck no!"

"What are you talking about?" A voice in the corner said.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Another girl asked.

“Don’t tell me you’re actually refusing,” Marie asked with horror.

She stepped closer to Marie. "Might I ask you for a favor?"

"What is it?" Marie asked suspiciously.

Rosa opened her mouth to speak but she knew Marie was too professional for her. She would hardly go against Franco. She couldn't blame her. No one wanted to get on Franco's bad side.

"Never mind, I will go."

Marie narrowed her eyes at her, slight disbelief floated across her expression but she simply nodded and slipped out of the dressing room.

Rosa immediately turned to one of the girls in the room. "Have you seen Tracy?"

She got her answer quickly and rushed out to find her. Thankfully, Tracy was also taking a break. She was one of the only girls who had her own private dressing room.

She didn't bother knocking before she stepped into the room. It was smaller than the ones she shared with the girls but had similar features.

A vanity table with a mirror stood against the wall. In the opposite corner was a garment rack with several bodysuits hanging. At the bottom were pole heels.

"You bitch!" Tracy yelled mid-dress. One of the girls who worked with her was helping her slip into her mesh bodysuit. "How dare you barge into my room?"

"Clearly, you don't want to hear what I want to say." She rolled her eyes and dramatically turned around.

"You think you can just leave after barging in so rudely without telling me?"

"You seem busy. Maybe I will just do it myself."

She grabbed the door and was about to pull it open when Tracy rushed forward and grabbed her. She tightened her hand on Rosa's wrist and pulled her hand from the door.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing?!"

She immediately pulled her hand away from Tracy's tight grip. A part of her had felt bad at first about what she was about to do, but Tracy really deserved this.

"I will just go myself," she said with a sneer, rubbing her wrist.

"Don't you dare! Are you about to take my job again like you did yesterday?"

Rosa rolled her eyes. "I am not taking your job. Alpha Nolan bought the most expensive drink and wants me to lead the procession. I wanted to tell you so we can go together."

"Liar!" She screeched and pointed her finger at Rosa as her face contorted. "If he really requested you, you wouldn't be here telling me. You would be going."

"What! He really asked for me. I keep telling you that—"

"I am sure he asked for me," she cut in and pulled Rosa aggressively from the door and stepped out of the dressing room. "Sleazy bitch!"
