Chapter 195 Asking for Clues

Chapter 195 Asking for Clues

Seeing Jaxon closing in, the man's face filled with arrogance instead of fear.

In his mind, he was so powerful that there was no way Jaxon could hurt him.

Nice thought—but blind confidence always comes with a price.

His expression was cocky as he watched Jaxon approach, thinking he could use this opportunity to take Jaxon down in one move.

But the moment he raised his hand, Jaxon was already in front of him, landing a brutal punch to his gut.

Blood sprayed from his mouth. His face froze, twisting in agony.

"You—!"

Before he could finish, Jaxon hit him again, sending him flying over thirty feet.

His face went pale. He slammed into the ground hard, coughing up another mouthful of blood before going completely still.

At the sight, the others froze, expressions stiff with shock. But they quickly recovered.

They glared at Jaxon, eyes burning with hatred.

"We seriously underestimated you. Playing dirty, huh?"

Their eyes gleamed with murderous intent.

From the start, they'd known Jaxon wasn't weak—but they never expected him to kill one of their own so easily, right in front of them.

Seeing their reactions, Jaxon let out a cold laugh. He'd already made up his mind.

He didn't have time to waste on these guys. Today, he was going to take them all down and force them to tell him the exact location of the Crest Security Syndicate's base.

They knew what he was after, but they still didn't take him seriously. Their faces were still full of arrogance.

Before Jaxon could react, they launched another attack, flashing forward and aiming a strike at him.

Facing their combined assault, Jaxon didn't move an inch. His eyes held nothing but contempt.

He dodged while simultaneously counterattacking.

In just a few seconds, Jaxon sent them all flying.

He didn't kill them outright, but he left them badly injured.

Their brows furrowed. The arrogance in their eyes was gone, replaced by deep wariness.

Now they realized—Jaxon's strength was beyond anything they'd expected.

"Jaxon's no joke. We can't go head-to-head with him!"

"We really did underestimate him. If he's pushed us this far, then let's show him what we're really capable of!"

Cold light flashed in their eyes as they prepared to strike again.

But before they could get close, Jaxon suddenly stepped forward, instantly appearing in front of one of them.

Before the man could react, Jaxon grabbed his head and slammed it violently into the ground.

The man struggled with all his might, but he couldn't break free. Within seconds, he hit the ground and went still.

"Your turn."

Jaxon's eyes were ice-cold as he flung the body aside.

It was a blatant provocation—and it sent them into a rage.

"You bastard!"

Their eyes filled with killing intent. They wanted nothing more than to tear Jaxon apart.

Too bad talk was cheap. And threatening Jaxon? They weren't nearly strong enough for that.

In seconds, Jaxon had them all on the ground.

He'd held back some, but they were still badly hurt.

They lay writhing on the ground, groaning in pain, faces twisted in agony.

While they struggled, Jaxon walked over to one of them.

He grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him off the ground with one hand.

The man's face contorted in pain as he fought to break free, snarling through clenched teeth.

"What the hell do you want, you bastard?"

"Relax. Just one question. Where are the rest of your Crest Security Syndicate people?"

"You think I'd—"

Before he could finish, Jaxon applied pressure. The man's neck snapped instantly.

His eyes went wide, and he dropped to the ground, lifeless.

Jaxon didn't even glance at him. He turned his gaze to another man.

Seeing how cleanly Jaxon worked, the guy panicked, fear flooding his eyes.

"What do you want? I'm warning you—don't do anything stupid!"

"You can either die like him, or tell me where your organization is."

He swallowed hard, sweat pouring down his forehead. He was trembling.

"I—"

He stammered, unable to get the words out. Jaxon's expression darkened, and he drove his fist straight through the man's chest.

The others saw what was happening and didn't dare stick around. Instinctively, they tried to run—but Jaxon wasn't about to let them go. This was too good an opportunity.

Jaxon closed in step by step. They were panicking now, eyes full of dread.

"Don't do anything rash. We're Crest Security Syndicate—"

Before he could finish, Jaxon killed him with a single strike.

Then he began the slaughter. The rest were scared out of their minds.

When he reached the next man, the guy completely lost it.

"Wait! Wait—I've got something to say!"

He shouted desperately, eyes full of terror.

"What do you want to say?"

"We're all Crest Security Syndicate members, sure, but the organization's always been secretive. We're not high enough to know where the base is. And besides—"

At that, Jaxon's expression turned cold.

"So by your logic, there's no point keeping you alive."

Jaxon's sharp gaze made the man tremble all over. He shook his head frantically.

"No, no, no! I don't know where everyone's gathered, but I know someone who does. He's the one in charge of us—his name's Cole."

The man didn't hesitate for a second. He immediately gave up Cole's name.

Right now, he had only one thought: survive. Everything else could wait.

"Where is this Cole?"

"I don't know his exact location, but we've already set a meeting. Tomorrow night, I'm supposed to meet him at the abandoned factory outside the city."

The man didn't dare hold anything back. He spilled everything.

Jaxon nodded thoughtfully.

"Pretty thorough planning. Looks like I underestimated you guys."

"I've told you everything. Please—let me go."

He begged, but Jaxon just stared at him and let out a cold laugh.

"Now you're scared? Too late."

Jaxon showed no mercy. With one strike, he crushed the man's skull.

Blood sprayed out. The others watching were horrified.

But Jaxon didn't give them a chance. In his eyes, none of these people deserved to live.

He moved quickly, giving them no time to react, and finished them all off.

Only after they were all dead did he let his men appear.

"Clean this up."

They nodded and rushed forward.

While they worked, Nightshade stepped up from the side.

"General Storm, now that we've got a lead, I'll send men over right away. We'll make sure to capture him!"
