"You should know without me saying, your Roberts family is nothing compared to the Harper family. Plus, Samantha's sister is engaged to the most powerful heir in Empire City!
Do you think a minor family like the Roberts can afford to offend the Harpers?"
Lily thought to herself, 'So they have backing!'
Lily sneered in response, "Well, I'm not afraid. Let them come find me if they dare!"
She hung up right after saying that.

Lily glanced at the invitation on her phone, then left the dorm.
When Lily arrived at the team base, there was even a red carpet and a sign-in table outside.
It actually looked pretty legit.
"Lily, how did you get injured?"
Lily turned around and saw an old acquaintance - Bruce, the manager of Bubble Buddies Team!
She smiled, "Just a small accident."
"I heard you didn't pass the Empire City team tryouts. That doesn't seem right."
"I had an accident and missed the tryouts. It's not that I didn't pass."
Bruce's eyes lit up, "That's perfect then. You could consider joining our Bubble Buddies Team. If you want to go to the national team, I won't stand in your way either."
"Let me think about it." Lily hadn't decided yet.
"I have a friend over there. Let me go say hi, and I'll come back to convince you later." Bruce walked off with his wine glass.
Lily walked into the hall, when Wendy's shrill voice reached her ears, "Lily, you're really shameless, how dare you come to today's party!"
Lily stopped and glanced at Wendy, "If you can come, why can't I?"
"Of course I can come, but not someone like you. Today's party invited many internet celebrities. To maintain the party's standards, people who aren't from our club can't come in."
At this moment, Theron also walked over, "Lily, you should have thought twice. If you regret it, then apologize to me in front of everyone!"

Theron acted all superior, "Lily, I heard your family isn't well-off. You probably haven't even seen what an invitation looks like!"
"Exactly! Security, come throw this shameless woman out!" When Wendy looked at Lily, she finally felt vindicated!
Last time Lily exposed her fake bag, she lost all dignity. Today she had to settle the score!
Lily glanced at security and pulled out her phone to open a link, "This is my invitation!"
Security looked at it, then said respectfully, "Sorry to bother you, please go in!"
Wendy was shocked, "What does this mean? Lily can't possibly have an invitation!"
Theron also frowned, "That's right, I'm certain Lily isn't part of our club, so she's not qualified to come to this party, let alone have an invitation."

Theron suddenly realized, "Lily's invitation link is fake. She's a computer expert. Forging an invitation link would be quick and easy for her!"
Security became conflicted again. After all, Theron was a team captain, so his words carried some credibility.
But Lily looked at Theron and Wendy, "Seeing how eager you are to perform, I really don't want to expose you!"

Lily smiled, "Why can't I be an internet celebrity?"
Theron laughed loudly, "If you're an internet celebrity, I'll eat shit right now!"
