Unknow found a way

Unknow found a way
Natalia

I am not sure what I expected when it came to Juilian being someone else. I sure in the hell didn't expect him to be the boogie man to the vampires. A hunter who would kill those that had broken coven laws. Now we know that his name is Marcus. Raven was over the moon that he was normal again. I never wanted to see my daughter making out like that ever again. I put my foot down on that when he was laying there with no clothes on, groping my child. He was lucky that my anger was smoothed over by Draven. When we all came into the living room, we watched as Draven took Marcus up to the bedrooms to give him clothes. Raven almost followed them, but I stopped her.

"I know you are happy that he is in a human form. If nothing else, please take things slow. It isn't much to ask in the grand scheme of things. Also if I wanted to act like a normal mother I would be very upset by the age gap." I told her seeing her getting pissed off again. I could match her anger however and she knew it.

"Fine." Raven said, huffing as she sat on the couch waiting for Marcus.

"Raven, I am not telling you no. I am telling you to take things slow. You haven't known him long. What I just witnessed in the backyard speaks volumes." I wanted her to understand things, but she didn't want to hear anything from me.

"Natalia, I promise you that I would never harm her." Marcus spoke when he came into the living room. He didn't sit with Raven at first. Just stood looking at me as if to ask permission.

"Marcus, I will say this once in front of everyone. If you hurt my daughter in any way whatsoever, I will rip your head off and stuff it up your ass." I told him, looking into his eyes with the meaning behind my words.

"You think you could take me?" Marcus asked, looking down at me.

"She would really kill you in a moment, you monster." Edgar cawed from the shelf.

"I don't have to think on it, I can." I told him, pulled his attention away from Edgar.

"Little vampire, you have no idea who I am." He snared at me, which made Raven growl at him.

"Marcus, you have no idea what she is." Draven came over to him to calm me down. "She could and would kill you. It wouldn't upset her a moment to do so. I suggest that you back down. Raven might even get a bit pissed off at you as well."

I didn't want to calm down, at that moment I really wanted to stay pissed off. It wasn't smart to do that and show him just how much he didn't understand about me. It dawned on me at that moment, did the person who cursed him know he wasn't any longer? I calmed down enough that I took a sit on the chair facing the couch. Raven calmed down enough to take his hand when he sat on the couch with her. She still glared at him when he didn't say anything else to me.

"Do you recall how you got the way you did?" I asked finally, not hiding the hate in my voice.

"I recall being out on a job. Goddess, it was so long ago. I never dreamed that I would forget so much. Some of it is still there, but the rest is blurry. Like there is still a hint of the curse in me. Which I would guess is possible, I don't know how it was broken either." Marcus spoke with a slight tremor to his voice.

"So you know bubkes." Edgar cawed from the shelf. "That is just amazing, so insightful."

"Edgar, I have no idea how you are still alive. But I can always take that life away." Marcus growled up at him.

"Already been tried." I told him with a half smile. "He just came back to life."

"You really killed him?" Marcus looked shocked that I could have done that.

"He hurt my daughter." I told him and saw the anger rise in him. "It was partly her own fault, but I am mom, I can do what I want."

"Maybe we could cut him up and spread the pieces, then he couldn't come back." Marcus was looking at me but talking to Edgar.

"Not worth my time at the moment, he has come in handy over the last few months." I told him, which wasn't a lie. Edgar had risked his life to help us on more than one occasion.

We talked about what was going on in the area for a while when my phone rang. Mom and Dad had made it to the house with no trouble. The security system was up and running. Several guards had been placed at the house to make sure they wouldn't be harmed. I was rather glad that I didn't have a large family. Marcus seemed happy that everyone was safe, but he had a look on his face for a flash that showed fear. What could scare him to that level? Should we be worried that something else would happen? My mind was running a mile a minute when I hung up with mom.

"I did notice something about your little family here, Draven." Marcus spoke in a hushed tone. "They are all day walkers."

"We aren't going to go there right now. I don't trust you enough to explain." Draven told him, glaring at the man.

The front door burst open to show Lucien standing there with blood all over his clothes. It had soaked into his pants, shoes and looked like it was in his hair. I jumped up running to him, but he held a hand out for me to stop. He didn't want me to touch him. Something was off with him. Marcus jumped to his feet, coming slowly toward Lucien. It was strange to see Lucien covered in blood, he never wanted to harm anyone. I didn't see any wounds on him, though.

"What happened?" I finally asked as we looked him over.

"Attacked by the ward, I didn't see them coming until they had already grabbed me. Thankfully, the ward worked in my favor, but I..." His eyes rolled to the back of his head and crumbled to the floor.

I went to grab him but Marcus stopped me, I glared up at him. He let me go but wouldn't let me touch my son.

"You can't touch him, you can't see it, but I can. There is a spell on him to curse whoever touches him. We need a blanket big enough to cover his body. Also need a room that gets the most sun in the morning. It should burn the curse off." Marcus kept getting in my way and I could feel my anger building.

"Mom, calm down." Raven grabbed me pulling me into her arms. She hugged me close so I wouldn't kill Marcus.
