Chapter 11

We left the fashion house after buying lots of clothes. It was a beautiful moment for me because I now had new outfits to wear. We drove Sara back to her house and I told her that she could come to the house to visit me whenever she wanted to. I hugged her as I bade her goodbye. I got into the car and we drove away.

I wanted to ask Nick why Jane was there but I let it slide. Maybe it was some kind of coincidence.

We got home and Nick opened the door for me as I got out of the car. He also led the way, opened the house door for me and I got inside.

" Do you love her?" I asked

" You mean Sara, she is your friend so I have to accept her"

I looked at him wondering if he was just avoiding the question or something.

" No, not Sara. Do you love Jane?" I asked him again, clearing him.

" No, I do not feel anything for her. I love you now and that is what matters" he pulled me close to him. I could feel his scent and hear his heartbeat. He raised my face with his fingers as his lips touched mine, he parted them and dwelled in my mouth. His tongue strived for dominance as he kissed me.

He stopped and looked at me.

" I love you, Kate," he said to me. I raised my head and looked into his eyes. He seemed to be sincere this time. His eyes held passion, I could see the burning desire in his eyes for me.

" I love you too," I said. I did not know how that came out of my mouth but I can not deny the feelings that I had inside of me. I think I was falling in love with him.

I looked at him, he smiled at me.

" Are you hungry?" He asked me.

" Yes, we should go eat," I said.

We went to the dining table, the maids had already kept our food. We ate it.

When we were done eating. Nick took me upstairs to the room. I wanted to sleep but he seemed to want something else. I rolled on the bed, touching his bare skin.

" How would you feel if I told you that we should go for a vacation outside the City?" He asked me.

" Yes, that would be great. I will love that" I said to him as he allowed me to lay on his chest.

I fell asleep on his chest. Woke up the next morning and Nick wanted me to follow him to the office. I gasped at his request.

" Really, like follow you to the office?" I asked him to be sure

" Yes love, I want you in my office today"

I had no choice but to agree to his request, besides I have not been to his office before and I would love to go there. I wondered what I would be doing there. I got out of bed and went to take my bath.

I finished bathing and I got dressed.

He was waiting for me downstairs. I got downstairs and saw him seated. I went to him.

" How do I look?"

"You look pretty" he responded as he winked his eyes at me, it made my cheeks turn red as it heated up.

We had breakfast and in no time, we were in the car driving to the office.

It was a smooth journey as we got to the office so fast. Nick came to the car door and opened it for me.

We entered the office and eyes turned towards my direction. I turned and the ladies looked jealous. I knew they were jealous I was with the man they wanted to be with. I clutched myself to Nick the more. He seemed to understand me as he grabbed my waist, his hands wrapping around me.

We walked into the office. Nick put me in a separate room from his office.

" You should stay here, whatever you want, let the security know," he said. He asked a security man to stay with me in the room.

" Okay"

" Do not let anything happen to her" he instructed the man with me.

He left the office and went to his.

I sat down. I loved the view from where I sat. It was beautiful. I looked around the room, I saw books on the shelves. I went to look at them and I saw my favorite book there. I took two of them and began to read one.

Soon I felt a need to pee. I stood up and went to the door. The security guy followed me.

" I want to pee," I said to him, hoping he would show me the restroom.

He led the way to the restroom. I got there and told him to stay by the door while I pee.

I finished, washed my hands with the soap and I was out.

As I came out, I saw a man standing with the guard.

" Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Jay, and I am Nick's assistant" he stretched out his hands to me. I took them.

" I am Nick's wife" I felt weird and happy at the same time saying that.

" I know," he responded with a big smile.

I went back to the room. I picked up the book, and read it.

I was getting bored with it. I laid my head on the desk as I fell asleep.

I was woken up by a gentle tap on my hand. I gently opened my eyes. It was Nick.

" Hey," I said to him.

" Sorry, I had to wake you up. It is afternoon and you need to go eat lunch" he said to me.

He held my hands as I stood up from the chair. We went into the cafeteria. It was big and beautiful. Nick took me to the private part of the cafeteria, I guess that part was specifically made for him because it was very private, away from the rest of the others. Jay joined us and we had lunch together.
