Chapter 42

"Hey cupcake," Ashton murmured in Olivia's ear as he held her from behind and for a minute, she almost jumped out If her skin. That was absolutely crazy and as she made a weird sound, she turned around to notice Ashton.

"Oh, my sweet Lord! You scared the hell out of me, Ashton. Why did you do so such a thing?" she inquired raising her brows.

That was funny, like seriously, and Ashton had to laugh for a minute of two. It causes him extreme pleasures to frighten Olivia, and as he laughed, his rich sound flowed in her ears making it an awesome sound to hear.

"I hate you," the young lady spat out as she moved closer to hit the lady's chest hitting it severally.

"Ouch! that hurts, but then, you shouldn't complain because several jokes are coming up shortly, you will be overwhelmed by it's performance," Ashton threatened Olivia and although he had a cool voice, he made it to be damn serious because he truly wanted to tease the hell out of her.

Even though he was serious or not, Olivia can't tell especially when he had that unbearing smirk on his face. It was too funny And couldn't even resist the shock that has being planted there. Heaving a gentle sigh, the lady decided to brush the whole issue aside as she wanted the best for herself, to know how far Ashton's plan has come to a success or a failing point. All he knows is that it is important, and he acknowledges it himself.

"Jokes apart, why are you here? I thought..." Olivia started but was silenced when Ashton cut in.

"I know what you thought, cupcake, and I have the privilege to let you know that they jumped into that idea the moment they heard that you were here and would like to have a little show here. Guess what? I asked to pay them, but they vehemently refused saying they wouldn't accept a dime from you. I guess you are that lucky," the young man explained this.

Olivia's mind was now blown out, she didn't know if she should shout or not, it is not like she has just won a jackpot, but at least, this is something, and it is worth it, like seriously. Having no other option, she walked closer to Ashton and swirled her arms around him hugging him very tight. That was a cool thing and Ashton's lips were now the shape of a small 'o' he didn't believe this could ever happen, the joy from it was worth it, making it sound extremely funny because things aren't even done like that.

"Alright, let me go and take my guitar," Olivia announced as she detached herself from the man.

Unfortunately, before he could make a step, the young man grabbed her wrist halting her movements.

"I've got that, Olivia, don't move okay? I'll be right back," he spat out kindly.

This is really amazing, one no one has ever seen before, the joy in her heart kind of tripped for a moment as he tried to regulate it. Olivia didn't want to think of any reasonable.

"Fine, I will wait for you," Olivia said in a sweet little voice.

She blushed profusely, and it was a crazy way of saying this. Rolling her eyes, she pretended like everything was fine, well, it had every reasons to, except for the the fact she just needs to stay for a while. That is very important. Sighing, she decided to brush the thoughts aside, not wanting any of these things to happen.

Ashton had not come back after five minutes and Olivia was a little lonely. The truth is, she doesn't like to be left alone and in a place, she doesn't know, not that she doesn't have the courage to face the people in front of her, but she is just being skeptical of talking to some because of the fear that has been generated in her heart. It doesn't quite make a lot of sense, but then, there isn't much she can practically do in such a situation.

Olivia was still in thoughts when she heard an uproar erupt from the crowd. She had not guessed what that was but when she slightly lifted her head to the stage, Olivia gasped when she saw Ashton there. It was crazy, and a mind blowing experience.

Well, there is no doubts about where that quality of noise is coming from and truth be told, she adored it. The looks on her face could better explain that. Olivia was well pleased to know that a simple appearance of Ashton Hendrix Taylor will cause an uproar from the population of Lendamor, this made her heartbeat accelerate as just the simple knowledge of the whole affair is enough to wow her mind away, like seriously, and she enjoys it. Sighing, there isn't much of a thing she could actually do but the look on her face should that she was contented, and would do everything to make things work out for her no matter the situation.

"Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen," Ashton greeted as he called for their attention.

The was an uproar that exploded from the crowd which was magical, they knew what they wanted and it was really pleasant, no one could even beat that record of Ashton's popularity in town. It is really crazy that things have to work on that part and she was well pleased as well.

From the stage, Ashton was handsome, he looked like a Greek god and his fine features were now bright, it didn't really mean a lot of things and as he heaved a gentle sigh, the young man addressed the people and it was awesome, the smile on his face was so bright, and it was pleasant to see it.

"I am here to tell you all that there is a guest in our midsts, she is a singer and would love to perform here," Ashton praised her.
