Chapter 91 Freight
“What did you just say Nanny?” Fernando asks to be sure he heard her correctly.
“I knew Ana was pregnant for you”
“You knew? you knew she was pregnant but did not see it fit to let me know even after my mother died!! ” Fernando's anger was rising.
This was the first time he was ever raising his voice at his Nanny. He could not understand how she could have hidden such a thing from him.
Elisa cried as she bowed her head severally in apology “I’m sorry young master for not telling you, it's just that your mother made me swear not to tell you. She had told me that Ana would tell you herself when she was ready to tell you, especially since Madam Silvia was still your fiancee then.
“I’m sorry” she apologized again.
“Fine you did not tell me because my mother made you promise not to do so. You were following her instructions obediently. But then after I told you that Ana was dead at that time why didn’t you still come to me and tell me that she was pregnant!!”
She had no excuse whatsoever to have kept that information from him after she was told that the person who was supposed to tell him was dead. She should have told him the truth but she did not.
Fernando was so pissed and she could tell through his tone and the look in his eyes. No parent will be happy to have spent 6 years apart from their child.
Elisa bowed her head again in apology “Yes you are right I should have told you but I did not, this is because I did not want you to suffer emotionally. You had lost your mother, which is the only blood relative you heard, Ana was said to have died then and you were still heartbroken. I decided to keep it to myself because I feared that hearing that she was pregnant for your child would break you completely, I didn’t want you to suffer” Elisa explained to him.
“You are not in any position to decide if something will break me or not. You should have told me, your excuse is not good enough!!”
Elisa shivered as she cried.
“Please leave and do not show yourself to me until I request for you?” He said.
She bowed in apology again before walking out.
Fernando clenched his fist tight, he felt angered with the fact that someone who was regarded as family kept that away from him.
He went to the table where he kept his alcohol and poured himself some to drink to calm his anger.
The following day, Silvia had driven herself to the Buenavista family estate very early enough to catch Fernando before he left for work that morning.
The security guards allowed her in since they knew who she was.
When she got to the main building she packed her can in the large packing space and stepped out.
Elisa was already informed of her presence so she was in the entrance waiting for her.
Silvia walked to her and looked at her from head to toe.
Elisa bowed her head "Welcome madam Silvia”
“Why are your eyes so red, didn’t you sleep last night?” Silvia asked her.
“I did”
“Doesn’t look like you did. But anyway, I’m here to see Fernando and I know he hasn’t left for work yet”
Elisa nodded “let’s go in, I will ask the chef to make you breakfast”
Silvia nodded and walked inside like she was the madam of the place even though she was still limping from the accident she caused herself and with the bandages in some parts of her face and body she still held her head up high.
Silvia got to the large living room and sat down “I will love to have breakfast with him that is if he hasn’t had breakfast yet”
“We will inform him” Elisa said and told the maid close to her to go up and tell the young master that madam Silvia was here.
The maid nodded and went up to inform him.
Elisa knew that Fernando nolonger had a romantic relationship with Silvia. But as a servant he had no right to treat madam Silvia indifferently until the young master gave her a different instruction.
“Why didn't you go up to inform him yourself?” Silvia was curious.
I have things to do in the kitchen which is why.
Silvia nodded but suspected that Elisa must have offended Fernando. This made her smile because she could not wait for Fernando to get rid of her. She hates the fact that she acts like his second mother.
She plans that when she successfully gets married she will sack all the Buenavista staff and employ her own people because she will need eyes and ears to monitor his every move.
When Fernando was informed of her presence he was so pissed at himself for failing to inform the estate security not to let her in before she came.
After he was done preparing for work, he went down stairs and a maid informed him that Silvia was already at the breakfast table waiting for him.
She had purposely come early because she knew he would not have left for work.
Fernando went to the dining room and saw her having breakfast.
Silvia looked up and smiled at him “Fernando, good morning, come seat and have breakfast with me”
Fernando was furious
“Get up and leave” he ordered.
Silvia pouted “Why, is it wrong if I came to have breakfast with you” she asked emotionally.
“I will not repeat myself again, get up and leave!!” He shouted.
Silvia did not bat an eye instead she picked the cutlery and continued eating.
“Since you want to live in your family estate, I will do the same. I already informed my chauffeur to pack my things and bring them here at noon” she said o casually.
Fernando banged his hand on the table in anger and gave her a dangerous look.
But yet she kept on eating so calmly like nothing just happened, like her actions were unnoticed.
“You know what I’m capable of don’t you, if you get on my nerves one more time, I will make sure you regret your entire existence. I’m done with you Silvia, start getting used to that. Now get up and get out!!” He screamed.
Silvia looked at him with a smirk on her face "Of course I know what you are capable of, you are the king of the business world. Nobody goes against you, you are good at throwing people in your private prison and torturing the hell out of them. If that's what you plan to do with me, then go ahead, when you are done then you can go ahead and bury me. I will be so glad and feel at peace to die at your hands but guess what? I will make sure you come with me” Silvia said in a way that anyone who hears her will shiver in shock and freight.
