Chapter 79 Forensic result
“Let’s all welcome the new CEO of the headquarters of blanco group. Emiliano Blanco” one of the directors announced and Emiliano stepped into the room with Ana and the people following before him
His grandfather was the first to clap and everyone else clapped too.
Emiliano bows his head to everyone and takes his seat.
Ana took her seat beside him since she was his lawyer.
Some reports were present to observe, take photos and videos.
Ana read through the details of his new seat and the share that was transferred to him by his grandfather.
She nodded to him for him to go ahead and sign the documents.
Part of what he was signing included an undertaking and pledge to do his job well as the new headquarters CEO which is a position that is next to that of the chairman.
After it was signed and the documents were stamped, he and his father, Ana, who is his lawyer and other shareholders took a picture.
Rita and her children reluctantly clapped. She decided to be calm while she plans on how to get him out of the position of ceo. Because from being CEO he might be made Chairman which is something she was not going to allow. Only her son and daughter deserve everything.
“Congratulations grandson, I’m proud of you,” Seun blanco said happily.
“Thank you grandfather “
Seun looked at Ana standing beside him “We were not able to speak on your company event that day”
Ana smiled and nodded “Yes”
Seun blanco looked at her from head to toe “It’s good that you are supporting my grandson now, at least it’s the least you can do after all he has done for you. He has sacrificed a lot for you, you should support him always and not make him regret helping you in the past” Seun said seriously.
“Father” Emiliano said since he didn’t like what his father said.
Ana did not think too much about it and only smiled “Yes grandfather, you are right. I will always support him. I will always be here whenever he needs me and I do not for a second take all he has done for me for granted. I’m ready to repay ten fold cause if not for his help years ago I would not be here, maybe my enemies would have succeeded in killing me and my entire family. And I also have you to thank for agreeing to help me especially in faking my death” Ana said.
Emiliano smiled at what she said.
Seun looked at her carefully and suddenly found her interesting. She spoke with so much trust, gratitude and care for his son.
“That’s good. I will leave you both to go speak to others. Meanwhile, I will like to see you in my office before you leave” Susan said to his grandson who nodded.
Emiliano looked at Ana and smiled at her,
Ana smiled “Congratulations again Emiliano”
“Thank you, but now you need to support me more like my grandfather said. I will be more busy here now. Our company will have to be in your care the majority of the time” Emiliano said.
“Yes, sure I’m here to help,” Ana said.
Ana was able to get new clients right here at the inauguration before leaving the company.
Emiliano had stayed behind to speak to his grandfather. He wondered why his grandfather wanted to talk to him since they concluded the discussion yesterday about his new position.
He arrived at the top floor and walked to his grandfather's office door. He knocked and was told to come in.
Emiliano walked in and met his grandfather who was speaking to his assistant.
He sat down and waited for his grandfather to finish with his assistant and then ask him why he wanted to see him.
After the assistant left, Emiliano asked his grandfather why he had called him.
Seun placed his back on his executive chair “It’s about that woman”
“Ana?”
“Yes, which other woman is in your life if not her”
“What about her?”
“She has changed a lot from before, she is now rich. She literally created a successful company with you and is also a lawyer. I have been wondering which woman will be best fit for you to marry but it seems she is the best choice for you. I know you already love her, you have loved her for so long, so marrying her won’t be a problem” Seun said.
Emiliano did not know if to be happy that his grandfather was consenting to him marrying Ana or to be annoyed at the fact that he was interfering in his personal life and see Ana as a tool that will be useful.
“Yes I love her grandfather, I want to marry her but that is if she consents and ends up feeling the same for me. I do not want my marriage to anyone or her to be that of convenience so please do not get involved” Emiliano said seriously.
Seun sneered, “reciprocating your feelings is the least she should do for all the help you have rendered her. You have to make her agree to marry you”.
Emiliano stood up not wanting to sit and hear what he was saying “I will take my leave now grandfather, please do not pressure me or speak about it again” he bowed his head before leaving.
Seun frowned as he left the office. He knows that woman doesn’t love his son, if she loves him he is sure that his son would have made her his wife already because he loves her.
Days went by and it was finally the day Fernando will get to know the forensic results.
He arrived at the private forensic lab himself and was waiting for them to send the results to him. This has taken so much time so he anxiously anticipated the result.
“Welcome Mr Buenavista” the head of forensic greeted him and led him to his office.
Fernando went in but did not sit down.
“Where is the result, hand it over?” Fernando said impatiently.
“Why not sit down so we will get you something to drink then we show you the results” the pathologist said
.
Fernando frowned “I said hand over the results now, I want to know what it says immediately!”
“Yes yes, we will get it immediately” The pathologist tells his subordinates to get the results.
They handed him the result and Fernando held it in his hand.
He breathed in and out and anxiously opened it while he prayed inwardly that the person that died and that he buried was not Ana. And if it turns out not to be Ana then a lot of questions will arise which Ana will hold an answer to.
He opened it and looked at the results.
The dead body examination showed the information of the real person he had buried. It was a woman same age as Ana that died years ago” his heart raised
“So it’s not her, so the person I buried was not Ana?”
“Yes it’s not the person you thought. While we were examining we found artificial skin around her face area which was used to cloth her face and also in some parts of her body. They had faked her death”
Fernando held the paper tightly in his hand and clenched it tight.
This proves that that woman was really Ana and she has been lying to him.
Why did she fake her death, and why has she been lying to him? Fernando asked himself as his face changed to that of anger.
