“Can someone tell me what’s happening?” The king asked as he looked at both of his sons who were in the room with him.
However, they just shot him a confused look as they closed their eyes since they were feeling tired after a large amount of blood was taken out.
‘I mean who is this Cecily and why does she hate Rhiannon so much?” the king asked as he wanted to know everything that happened.
Ernest sighed as he felt that their father knowing about some things would be for their benefit as if he personally took action against the Demons Organisation, it would be wiped out in just hours. However, what he was worried about was their sister, Yadira. After all, the leader was her father. Even though she didn’t speak and even planned with them how to get rid of the man, he couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. He wished that there was a way which they wouldn’t have to kill the man for her.
Ernest started explaining everything to his father. From what happened during the banquet to Rhiannon’s accident.
“That girl. You called her sister also. Who is she? She resembled your mother so much apart from her eyes,” he asked the question that had been bothering him since he met Yadira.
“She is indeed my sister. She also resembles Rhiannon, if the two of them were to stand in front of you, you would get confused if not for their different eye colors as Rhiannon inherited your eyes and hair colors. However, Yadira isn’t your child. She is my step-sister,” Ernest told him truthfully as he watched the man’s face without blinking since he didn’t want to miss any expression he showed to what he said.
“So, she got married and even got another child? Is she younger than Rhiannon?” he asked as he had noticed she looked fragile and thought that she was young.
“No, she is actually quite older. She is three years younger than Gustavo and I. Although mom married, she didn’t have a child with her husband. The husband had always thought that Rhiannon was his child till the man got into an accident and needed a blood transfusion. It was last year but one,” Ernest replied.
“Then she…” the king closed his eyes and didn’t dare say what he wanted to say as he felt betrayed.
“Oh please. You broke your promise first and got married to another woman. How did you expect her to feel?” Ernest said as he was bothered by his father’s reaction to his words.
“The queen and I got married earlier. If she wanted to get another man’s child, shouldn’t she have done it immediately after she gave birth to you?” the king retorted as he was feeling angry with how his son was speaking to him.
“She was so busy looking for Gustavo. She had tried her best to rescue him from the organization but couldn’t. With no other choice, she got into that organization to be near her son and protect him from the harm inside. Of course, my mother was blessed by looks and a good figure. To top it all, she was very kind and caring, how could the leader not fall in love with her? However, Mom rejected the man as she still had you in her heart. Do you know what happened after that?” Ernest asked as he stared at his father for a long time feeling disappointed at him.
The king saw his son’s expression and could tell there was something very wrong that happened. He didn’t dare to speak thus he shook his head.
“She was raped by the man leading her to get pregnant with Yadira. Still, she loved her daughter so much. She disguised the latter’s appearance immediately after she was born and gave her an identity out of what her father had said. Well, Gustavo also had two identities according to her arrangement. Since then. She had to take care of her two kids. One was under captivity while the other was treated as a princess. However, she made sure that the siblings knew each other. Every time she visited Gustavo, she would take Yadira with her. When Gustavo later found the lady’s identity, he was furious and didn’t want to see his mother but after calming his anger, he always played with her. Mom later trained them. Mom then escaped the organization with their help as she couldn’t stay there any longer with Rhiannon in her belly. Those two, Gustavo and Yadira depended on each other since she left. Yadira used her tricks to have her father release Gustavo. So if you think of treating us as your children but treating her as an enemy, then we can only depart and not recognize you as our father also,” Ernest said as he was willing to give up his identity as the second prince as both of his sisters were happy.
“You love that girl so much?” The king asked with a frown.
“She is mom’s child. My sister and I share blood with her. Do you think that we will let her be on her own? If had to do that, would we have rescued her from her father’s organization or would Gustavo bring her out with him? Yes, I love my sisters so much and I will protect them from all dangers even if it includes you!” Ernest said coldly causing the fourth prince to lower his head not daring to look at any of them but he was surprised by Ernest's swift decision and couldn’t help but admire him.
“Okay then. I will treat her as my daughter. The same way I’ll treat Rhiannon,” the king said after a sigh but he knew that there was no way he was going to let the girl leave on her own.
Especially when he saw that face, he felt he was looking at Celestine. Also, he felt that he had disappointed their mother so much thus it was necessary if he took care of her child as his own since she was already gone.
Hearing his words, Ernest sighed in relief and a smile broke on his face.
“However, I still have a problem. Her father killed your mother and had also tried to kill you and your siblings. You know am not going to let him go, right?” the king asked coldly as he stared at his son to make the decision.
