“Rhiannon, wake up, we need to get ready as you are meeting up with that witch’s daughter,” Yadira said as she walked to her sister’s room and drew the curtains as the latter was still sleeping.
“Well, didn’t she call to postpone the meeting as she does?” Rhiannon asked sleepily as she hoped that Cecily had changed her mind so that she could continue sleeping.
Hearing her words, Mary chuckled and walked towards the bed.
“No you lazy girl. You need to wake up. I will be choosing your outfit as you get cleaned up after that, Yadira will help you with the disguise,” Mary said as she yanked the latter off the bed causing her to groan but she didn’t dare protest as she knew how her nanny was.
If she delayed any longer, she was sure that the latte could pour cold water on her and she didn’t want that.
“Okay,” she mumbled as she walked to the washroom.
After ten minutes, she walked out.
“Well, I guess it's better to disguise you before wearing the clothes,” Yadira said as he stared at her sister causing Rhiannon to cast her a confused look.
“That way, it would be more believable,” Yadira said when she saw the confusion in their eyes and they nodded since they weren’t the ones who were professionals but her.
An hour later, Rhiannon had completely changed to a new person and no one could say she was the one. Her appearance was just similar to Mary's as Yadira had heard some of the students at the organization saying that most people thought that Mary was the queen of the organization cause of what had happened at Amanda’s banquet. She felt that it would be right if she made Mary’s appearance so that that way, anyone who saw her would think that Mary had the power to command the people from the Dragons because the queen was her daughter.
Thankfully, no one knew whether the queen’s parents were alive or not.
“Take care of her,” Mary said to the bodyguards following Rhiannon and Clare.
“Don’t worry Elder Mary,” they said as they owed and Mary nodded her head.
“We will be meeting in one of our hotels, right?” Rhiannon said as he stared out of the window not looking at the person she was speaking to.
“Correct young miss,” Clare said as she nodded her head.
“The security is tight?” Rhiannon asked once more as she had a feeling that something bad would happen.
In the hotel, Cecily had already arrived and was seated looking at the security personnel who kept walking around and smirked thinking that the Dragons were really on guards against her as if they didn’t believe that she was sincere at all.
‘Well, they are right 'cause I am not sincere at all after what happened the other day!’ Cecily said.
She looked around and smirked as she felt so confident with her plans. Even with such high security, she would get what she wanted one way or the other especially when she recalled her master’s instructions. She had a feeling that what happened to the Demons had to be the Dragons doing but she lacked evidence. How she hoped that she could just ask the leader but no, she knew that it was too risky to ask the enemy especially when they seemed to be suspicious of her.
However, she felt that it was a pity when she called for a collaboration, she was sincere and she had not yet received her master’s call. After receiving it, she realized everything and opted to act arrogant so that she could retreat and prepare for when they met.
“The young miss has arrived,” someone announced and the security ran out.
Looking at that, Cecily gave her a mocking smile as she tried her best to control her laugh.
Before Rhiannon arrived, she had already called and instructed what she wanted to be served with and instructed that it should be ready by the time she arrived as she didn’t want to waste time staying there for petty reasons thus, the drink she was to take was already on the table but on a thermos.
Cecily looked at the thermos with an evil glint, looked around to where the surveillance cameras in the room were then made her move. She opened the thermos in a flash poured a white powder in it then closed it.
After two minutes, Rhiannon and Clare walked in.
“I finally met the queen of the Dragon Organisation. Greetings,” Cecily said as she bowed down.
“You are too kind. There is no need of you bowing unto me as I am not your leader,” Rhiannon said with a smile.
“Well, who knows, maybe you might be in the future,” Cecily said with a smile as she stood upright and looked at Rhiannon.
“A disguise? Interesting. So they don’t trust me, huh?” she asked herself as if she wasn’t foolish.
She and her mother had always worn disguises thus she could tell when she saw someone with it. That, apart from those who were disguised from birth. She and her mother weren’t professionals and she wasn’t at that level yet.
Rhiannon lifted her hand and the thermos was opened then the drink was poured into her cup.
They then started testing it. Although the hotel was the one that made it, they didn’t trust anyone with themselves when it came to Riannon’s security. Also, they had left the thermos on the table, who knew whether Cecily had tampered with it?
When Cecily saw their actions, she wanted to laugh when she realized that they were too serious and on guard against anything and everything as she was sure that the surveillance had not captured her move.
‘Too bad that my drug is on another level,’ she said to herself, and truly to her words, the drink turned out not to be drugged or poisoned.
Rhiannon started drinking it while Clare and others sat on the other table looking at their every move.
“Can you tell me what you want the organization to help you with?” Rhiannon said as she drank her coffee.
“I want to get the Sanders Group back. Please help me and I will give you anything you want,” Cecily said as she pushed a document to Rhiannon who opened it and started reading.
“It’s a great deal. However, I can’t decide by myself. I need to take this nack to the elders and discuss it with them. I will inform you if there is any good news,” Rhiannon said.
“Okay. I have no problem with that,” Cecily said with a smile and Rhiannon nodded her head before standing up.
“Nice meeting you,” Rhiannon said shaking the latter’s hand before turning around and leaving.
