“Oh?” Rhiannon asked as she raised her eyebrows and seemed unaffected by those words.
“Why do you look so unconcerned?” Yadira frowned as she couldn’t understand what her sister was thinking.
“Why should I look as if I am so bothered or stressed out about that? If he accepts that woman even after knowing that her mother was an imposter, he isn’t worth being my husband. What I will do after everything is over is to divorce him. Right now, I will just stay alert as I look at what he and his family would do concerning this Cecily Sanders,” Rhiannon said lazily but there was an evil glint in her eyes.
“Are you going to just leave her out of hook just like that?” another elder asked with a frown as she wondered what was wrong with their young miss.
If they wanted anyone to help her teach the woman a lesson, they would be avail till she understood that Young Master Rodrigues was already taken by their young miss.
Rhiannon didn’t say but she only looked at the woman then smirked.
“When did I say that?” Rhiannon asked after some time causing most of them to shake their heads as they felt pity on the woman for messing who the wrong person.
“Are you going to help her? Or should I say meet up with her?” Ernest said as he looked at his sister since he couldn’t see through her plans and didn’t want to intervene in anything if she had not told him not to.
“Since she wants to meet up with me then it's just easy, I will fulfill her wish,” Rhiannon said since she didn’t see any big idea; of meeting up with the latter as she wanted to see how the woman who wanted her husband looked like.
“You can’t do that! What if she recognizes you?” Mary said immediately as she shook her head.
“But how? I have never met her even once!” Rhiannon asked.
“What if she saw any of your photos in the Rodrigues family or with Octavius? Also, don’t forget that you resemble your mother so much,” she said and Rhiannon remained silent.
“I am still not a professional when it comes to disguising myself but with Yadira’s help, I am sure that I will succeed. She will help me disguise myself every time I go out,” Rhiannon said as she looked at her sister and then winked at Gustavo who gave her a thumbs up as he understood what she was trying to do.
With this role, even if Yadira changed her mind and wanted to follow him to the battle, she couldn’t as that would risk Rhiannon’s identity which they couldn’t dare joke with. Yadira understood that well and sighed when she realized that her family still didn’t believe her when she saw that she wouldn’t follow their eldest brother. But she knew that what Rhiannon wanted to do was necessary.
“You don’t need to train yourself as I will always be here with you to help you in it,” Yadira said with a smile and Rhiannon smiled back.
“Thank you,” Rhiannon replied before shifting her gaze to Mary who was looking at her sternly.
“If you want to meet with her then you need to be careful as I don’t think that woman is simple.”
Rhiannon nodded her head upon hearing Mary’s words as she knew that. That was also one of the reasons why she wanted to see what the woman was up to.
“Can you please help me relay the message that I will be meeting with her in a week,” Rhiannon said shocking everyone as they had thought that she was going to meet her so soon as she was already used to being like that.
Every time it involved business, she never delayed and would meet up with the person immediately but now, here she was claiming that she needed a week.
“A week?” Mary asked in disbelief while Rhiannon nodded her head while her chin was on her palm.
“Yeah, why not? Since she is after my husband, why should I give her the same treatments I give the others? Also, don’t forget that the woman might have a connection with the organization. If I meet with her soon, who knows what she will go around saying about us? Won’t she say that even though we seem respectable and people fear us, we are so desperate that immediately she made an appointment, I went to meet up with her? Or, she would say that she is familiar with me and start using our name to do her evil stuff out there. There is no way I am going to let her get a chance to ruin us! Furthermore, she isn’t like the others I usually met. Don’t forget those people are either heirs of multibillionaire corporations, the CEOs and Presidents, what does she have on her name?” Rhiannon asked question after question making the others speechless as they couldn’t believe that she had managed to fool them as she seemed to bear a grudge against the woman.
“I only meet those who benefit me immediately, she isn’t going to benefit me but I am sure that she is planning on using me to gain something. However, all that isn’t the reason that I am meeting up with her,” Rhiannon said as he shook her head knowing too well that they were all confused at what she was doing or even why she had agreed to such an offer.
“Why?” they asked unisonly their eyes filled with curiosity.
“We want to know whether this woman is associated with the Demons and also what she wants. The only way is to be her friend or pretend to be her ally. That way, she will surely share some inside news. After all, don’t they say that we need to keep our enemies closer than we keep our friends?” Rhiannon asked as she raised her eyebrows making most of the people roll their eyes.
“Oh please. Just say that you want to keep an eye on her so that she can’t go and disturb your husband anymore,” Gustavo said teasing Rhiannon a little bit as he understood what he was fearing the most.
That by the time everything was over she would go back to the Rodrigues and find that he had already gotten married and even gotten a child. Of course, no one wished such a thing to happen but no matter how powerful they were in the country, there wasn’t anything that they could do about that.
Rhiannon almost nodded her head agreeing with his words but when she remembered that she had been warned from being near the Rodrigues and the Andersons. To her, they were still her family although they had not spent a lot of time together.
“Okay, a week is okay. I will get one to follow her and her every move so that you can know some things about her and not be clueless when you meet with her," one of the elders, the person who was in charge of Rhiannon's and her siblings' security said as she still looked forward to Cecily been taught a lesson.
