The man looked at Rhiannon in fear while she smirked upon seeing it.
“Did you think that I would have let you escape after trying to kill me? Do you think that you will not die when you shot my men?” Rhiannon asked coldly as she looked at the motionless, expressionless man before you.
She had thought that since she had taught him a lesson, he would talk to her so soon without beating around the bush but the man just looked at Rhiannon in fear and hatred and didn’t intend to open his mouth to speak.
“Talk before I get more angry and make you suffer as you wait for death in agony,” she said when she saw that and the man’s lips trembled as he wondered whether Rhiannon was a human being or the devil itself.
He man remembered that Celestine was always so humble, never talking back to them or anything. She will do as told but Rhiannon? He just thanked the Lord that their organization leader had requested them to kill Rhiannon and not for her to be brought into the organization and become a member.
However, when he looked at Rhiannon, he wondered whether all those poisons she was attacking him with were made by herself or her mother. He felt that a large amount of number must be made by Celestine and wondered whether the woman wouldn’t give their master and leader the poisons instead of saying every day that the situation is the same but as she was respected, no one dared to ask any question.
“Please kill me,” he asked Rhiannon sadness and pain in his eyes while Rhiannon shook her head.
“You wanted to kill me but my family intervened to save me. Also, do you know how much pain, my mom was always through when I was young? She would even vomit blood if she ate anything. She would only walk a hundred meters in a day. Her beautiful face started having wrinkles, it started aging her body too. That was all because you people poisoned her. If you wanted to use her then why do all that to her? Didn’t she get into the organization willingly so that she would go through all that in your eyes?” Rhiannon said as she felt like crying when she remembered how weak her mother had been and that sometimes a five-year-old was the one who took care of her when her nanny had gone to the market.
The person who was her father at that time, Mr Clark, didn’t give a f**k whether her mother’s life was improving or deteriorating. He just woke up early claiming that he had some work in the office that he had not finished the previous day and came late claiming he was so busy and time flew without his knowledge. The man had lost all his interest in her when her mother’s face started aging and she didn’t have the strength to carry out heavy work.
“She wanted to? Who told you that? The one who said that lied to you!” The man shouted with a snicker when he heard Rhiannon’s words.
“What do you mean? That mom never wanted to get into that organization?” Rhiannon asked sharply yet coolly but her heart was trembling.
“Yes. She never wanted to! She was sold out by a friend of hers who was jealous of her but pretending to be her friend,” the man said causing Rhiannon to frown as she tried to think who it was.
“The woman was part of our organization and according to our organization rules, you need to bring another person inside who was stronger than you for them to realize you. It is like a kind of exchange,” the man explained and Rhiannon nodded her head at him since she could see that he had a lot of things to do.
“She said that your mother had just suffered from heartbreak and was on the edge of depression, as a good friend, she bought herbs for your mother so that she would try making medicines with them when she was locked up in her room. Your mother had given up completely but when she took an overdose and was sent to the hospital by her family, she was saved and told she was pregnant,” the man said shocking Rhiannon as she was hearing a new thing.
“Your mother felt like the child was a god blessed and wanted to keep it. Thus she tried to change her life and recover for the baby. When she was due, she gave birth to twins. The friend stole one child that time there and then when she was in the process of delivery thus when the first child was born, he had already been taken away. When your mother saw that someone had taken away her child, she pretended that she only had one child in her fear that he would also be taken away,” the man stopped talking when Rhiannon raised her hand to stop her.
“How did you know that she had twins? You weren’t there to know!” Rhiannon said as she felt there was something fishy.
“When her friend targeted your mother to replace her, we sent one of our own to her family’s mansion to be a spy. The person sent got your mother's and grandparents' trust so quickly thus she was also present when she was giving birth,” the man replied making Rhiannon nod her head as she felt she would still know whether the man was asking the truth when she walked away and ask her grandparents.
“Continue,” she said.
“After seeing there was no suspicious person in the room and the hospital searched for the nurse who had taken the child away and failed to catch her, your mother gave birth to your second brother but she was afraid, afraid the people who stole her child will know she had another and stole him also then she called the child’s father. Your grandparents thought that he was just a useless man and were against giving their grandchild to the man but your mother told them it was for his protection. Your father hid his identity as even the woman we had sent had not noticed anything with his identity,” the man said with a chuckle.
“Your brother, some father, some mother. He was taken by your father. I heard the king has a few sons but I don’t know which one is your brother. After taking him away, she didn’t tell your father that they had another son and was kidnapped as she was afraid that your father would mobilize everything and everyone and might put your brother in danger so she searched herself. A few days later, the friend started unmasking the mask she always wore in front of your mother and told her she was the one responsible for that and if she wanted to save her son, she would have to get into the organization.”
“A mother’s love. Your mother immediately agreed for her son but the organization was afraid that she might not be faithful thus they poisoned her. Your mother was only allowed to see your brother thrice a week but as the boy continued to grow up, the meetings were reduced and your mother started to feel her world crushing.”
“One day, she went to see your brother, he was six years old at that time, but when they walked out of the room they were together, everything changed, your brother refused to see your mother again. Your mother tried to see her son but she couldn’t. She started changing, Not following orders and doing what she wanted, opposing the organization,” the man said then looked at Rhiannon with a smirk.
“But there is something I haven’t told you something interesting that happened in between that,” the man added making Rhiannon raise her eyebrows.
“Which is?”
