They did that and the snipers who were initially ready to fire once more were stunned when they saw cod eyes looking at them.
They trembled as it was unheard of the people from afar to see the snipers. Because of everything that was happening, they deeply regretted not carrying their best enemies and at the same time making enmity with Rhiannon.
However, that only lasted for some minutes before they remembered the main reason they were there and didn’t feel sympathy for the netizens in the room. All that filled their mind was killing Rhiannon as she would turn out to be a great threat to her with the royal family's backing.
After Rhiannon followed that dot and saw where it came from, she smirked as she shook her head wondering whether the sniper had realized that he was about to be crushed.
She looked below her and at Brandon who had stopped bleeding ‘miraculously’ and sighed in relief as she knew that now, she could leave them since she believed that if Brandon’s situation had stopped worsening, even David’s situation had stopped.
Yes, she wanted to turn back and look at him but she was too afraid. Afraid that if she turned, she might be shot and she didn’t want anything like that to happen since she didn’t know how many times the ring could rescue her.
She put Brandon’s head that was lying on her thighs on the ground carefully before she immediately looked at the sniper shocking him just as she sighed in relief after Rhiannon averted her gaze thinking that Rhiannon had stopped since there was nothing she had seen. However, the guy knew that she couldn’t continue talking to him as the way Rhiannon’s eyes were coldly looking at him, he could feel as if his heart was being cramped and trying to get out of his body which had never happened before.
It must be known that the organization was responsible for coming up with weird things and they had developed some bullets that could pass through the bulletproof walls and that was what they had initially used.
The man closed his eyes as the pain in his chest part was becoming unbearable and held that side of his body with one hand while the other still held the gun.
“For how long are you going to resist death?” a cold voice asked making the guy open his eyes immediately. He had heard that voice as he had initially been in the party. However, he couldn’t understand how Rhiannon’s words had reached his ear. He trembled in fear as he wondered why he had suddenly started seeing weird things and was unable to complete his mission.
“Well, it doesn’t matter to me as even though you resist death, I will still kill you to pay for my people’s life/ An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,” Rhiannon said once more shocking the man who hurriedly stood up and turned around.
When he saw Rhiannon seated on the sofa as if she were at her place, he was stunned before he became furious.
Seeing his furious look Rhiannon suddenly chuckled.
“Furious because I got into your territory?” Rhiannon asked in amusement and no coldness would be detected in them.
If not for her cold eyes that were staring at the man making him feel as if Rhiannon could see through him, he would have thought that she was a friend and not an enemy.
“How.. how did .. you get here? I just left you there then after a minute…” the man asked as he wasn’t able to complete his words as he was completely afraid of Rhiannon.
He was on the fifteenth floor of the building opposite Phenix. He had counted and for Rhiannon to reach, she needed to first get out of Phenix and that hall was on the third floor, then close the road, and then use the elevators to come to the fifteenth floor. But since he had not heard the elevator’s beep, he was so sure that Rhiannon didn’t use the elevators to come there. Things made things more complicated as he knew that if Rhiannon used the stairs, there was no way she would have managed to come on time.
Hearing the man’s question. Rhiannon shook his head.
“Why should I tell you? Do I know your secrets so that I can share mine with you? Do you think that I am as stupid as you want me to seem? For you to get things out of my mouth then kill me directly and take feedback to your boss on what you had managed to get from me before I died? I said that you are the one who will be dying!” Rhiannon’s calm tone as she started speaking turned cold as she said the last words.
This made the man tremble.
“Who… who are you?” he asked as he felt there was no way the woman in front of her who had sapphire eyes was Rhiannon.
As they were talking and more hatred filled Rhiannon, her eyes started changing but she was unable to feel it. However, it was as if, his conscience knew what kind of state she was in and was protecting her from entirely stopping being ruthless and bloodthirsty.
“Who I am?” Rhiannon asked with a smirk as she walked towards the man.
Every small step Rhiannon took was like a hundred steps to the man. He had tried to also step backward but he was surprised that he couldn’t be able to move his body. He shook his body as he tried to move but the more he struggled, the more he felt his body was becoming stiff.
His heart was filled with terror and regret. Regret that he had opted to be the one to end Rhiannon’s life when there could be another person doing what he was doing.
“Bro, if you keep resisting you will die a horrible death. If I were you, I would just stay still and wait for death to overcome me,” Rhiannon said before a surprised look took over her face.
“Shhh! What have I really done? I have told you a big secret that can save your life and here I am wanting to kill you. What a pity! Anyways, I have other ways to kill you,” Rhiannon said as she started to giggle as if what was happening to the man in front of her was funny.
Rhiannon lifted her hand and threw something powderlike, that had no smell and no color to the man. Immediately it reached the man, the man started screaming in agony, he tried to touch the part he was feeling pain but he found that he even couldn’t move his hand from where it was.
He looked at Rhiannon who was smiling in terror.
“Well, I told you your struggling would cause you a lot, didn’t I?” Rhiannon asked the man as she kept smiling seeming to enjoy the agony the man was going through. However, it wasn't that Rhiannon had wanted to turn into a cold and ruthless person but seeing Brandon's and David's lifeless bodies lying there was like torture to her and she hated that feeling.
She hated to feel helpless and defenseless in front of death. Thus, since that feeling always made her tremble, she wanted to watch the others and feel what she and her men had gone through because of them!
