Olivia questioned the latter as she wanted to divert the latter’s attention.
Anabelle became serious and stopped being angry with her brother as she knew it was useless.
“Companies? It seems that the man is hiding something from me,” she said without telling Olivia what Octavius had said.
She wasn’t stupid, he could tell that Octavius didn’t want anyone to know that his wife had some company on her hands. Although it made her curious why, she didn’t think much of it as they were now one family and there was always time for them to get to know each other and know his wife’s secret.
“Recently,” she murmured once more.
Seeing her behaving like that. Olivia didn’t question her once more as she could tell it was somehow personal.
“The companies that have launched the perfumes recently, have they changed hands?” she asked Olivia.
“That, I don’t know as I haven’t had anything but it's most likely. After all, how could they produce perfumes such better perfumes like the previous ones?” Olivia asked causing Anabelle's attention to turn to her.
“The perfumes are not the same style as those companies produced?” she asked.
“Well, I am not saying that as I haven’t bought any, but don’t you think so? The perfumes that have been launched recently have shaken the international perfume industry. Most people are talking about them. If the other perfumes that were launched never caused such sensation, don’t you think that there might be something different this time?” Olivia asked.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Anabelle asked in a serious tone.
She had just heard that three companies had launched the products but she never knew how famous those products had become.
“You're always busy, how could I tell you? Also, if I did, it would only add some stress to you,” Olivia said causing Anabelle to sigh.
From her brother’s words and how he behaved the last time he called and told her to launch the perfumes in two days, it was like he knew the big boss behind those companies and knew that they would be launching another perfume. Only the reason he told her it was because that company was a big threat to them. She analyzed and understood his fear.
That also made her think that her brother’s wife was still the boss behind those small companies.
“Go buy me all the perfumes that have been recently launched. Also, apart from that, buy at least two perfumes from each of those companies, The products that they had launched before they launched these new products,” Anabelle instructed Olivia who looked at her with questioning eyes as she didn’t understand what was going on.
Nonetheless, she didn’t ask any questions as she knew that she wouldn’t get any answer no matter how much she asked but she could tell that the companies had to do with something her brother had told her.
She nodded her head and left.
Anabelle could tell that there was something wrong but she decided to wait for the perfumes so that she could verify her guess.
On the other side, Rhiannon had just walked to her office and found Ruby and Raven together with their parents waiting for her.
“What are you guys doing here?” she asked with a smile.
“It seems that you were too tired. I tried waking you up in the morning but I got no response,” Ruby said as she pouted causing Rhiannon to smile.
She had slept very late as she was designing clothes for the clothing companies. Now that she had already shaken the perfume industry, she didn’t see the need to wait for a while before jumping to another industry. She felt that she had a lot of companies waiting for her to revive and make a standard for them.
Also, the fact that the clothing design competition was near didn’t do her any good.
Although he had studied design, she wasn’t fully experienced that she was studying her mother’s notes as she designed the clothes for the companies as practices.
She had already sent two of her designs for the competition and she had passed the first round thus she was qualified for the quarter-finals. She didn’t want to be eliminated too early thus practice was needed.
“Sorry,” she said to Ruby as she walked to her seat and sat down. In every company, she had her own office and she could guess that they had been waiting for her to take over.
“What news do you guys have for me?” she asked in a serious tone.
“Our company sales have surpassed the Rodrigues Company sales by 10 percent. The reviews given by those who bought yesterday are positive and most claim that our products are better than Rodriguez Company thus leading a lot of people to buy our products.”
