Chapter 255: A hundredfold
"You, what are you going to do?" Chris asked. He thought he was gutsy enough, but looking at Wesley, he had a feeling he had underestimated him. He knew the guy was ruthless, but not to that extent. Now, looking at him smiling nonchalantly while holding such deadly weapons, Chris felt his heart trembled in fear. He knew he was dealing with a monster this time round.
"What do you think?" As Wesley asked this, he walked forward to where Chris was. Chris shrank his neck subconsciously. He didn't know why, but his whole body was scared when he looked into Wesley's house. He'd never met someone with such a dangerous aura. He somehow regretted touching Madison without any sort of strategy. He should've stayed put and made a move some other time. But it was too late for regrets now. He had to face whatever came his way because somehow, he knew he had to face some consequences somehow. It was time to pay for what he did. Heck, he'd braced himself for that, but he never expected to be met with such an oppressive aura from Wesley, the guy whom everyone knew wasn't to be trifled with. He finally understood why they said so.

"This isn't right." Chris tried to reason with him. However, the moment he said that, Wesley's eyes turned freezingly cold.
"It is. It became right the moment you devised the plan to harm her." Wesley enunciated every word, so Chris could get the meaning. Wesley wasn't mad that Chris would kill someone. Instead, he was mad at the fact that, of all the people, he had to target his precious girl. His Maddy. And to him, if someone wanted to see the beast in him, they could try touching Madison. She was always his bottom line. And clearly, Chris had touched and crossed that line.

"What do you mean?" Chris felt like running away, but he was bound to a chair, so there was no way he could do that. He could only ask to stall for time.
"You have to die. Anyone who touches or hurts her dies." Wesley said this with strong, murderous intent.
"You- aargh!" Before Chris could complete his statement, he gave out a heatwrenching scream. Wesley had shot him in the leg.
"Please stop, okay? I'm sorry." Chris begged. It was the first time he'd experienced such pain, and he honestly regretted making a move on the girl. He should've just accepted the death of his parents.
"Fifteen bullets." Wesley stated. As he thought about that, he felt his heart clench in pain. His girl. He wondered how much pain she'd been in when he shot her.
"What?" Chris asked, confused.
"You shot her fifteen times, so I have to pay back a hundredfold.
Before Chris could register, Wesley aimed at him and continued firing at him nonstop. He made sure none of his body parts were left intact. He had marred his girl. How could he let him live?
By the time Wesley was done, Chris had turned into a mess of bloody flesh. His eyes were wide open in shock and fear. Before the bodyguards could heave a sigh of relief, they saw Wesley pick something else from the ground. They couldn't help but widen their eyes in horror.
