Chapter 40 chapter 40
Chapter 40
“What the hell? Are you out of your mind?” Jason questioned after the hotel manager told him to leave.
“Do you have any idea who I am? How dare you tell me to leave?”
Vivian looked at the hotel manager and sneered, “Babe, I really think that people don’t want to keep their jobs anymore. We have been frequent visitors, so how could they tell us to leave? We even have the VIP card.”
The manager looked at Jason and bowed apologetically. Well, the person who wanted them gone was the owner of this hotel, so what could a mere manager possibly do?
“Sir, I am sorry, but you have to leave. The owner of the hotel is here with his family, and told me to tell you that you are welcome here anytime. In fact, your VIP card has been revoked with immediate effect.”
“What?” Jason and Vivian’s eyes widened in shock.
All his life as the prince of Sterling City, Jason had never been so humiliated. His face was filled with fury, and just as he was about to reprimand the hotel manager, a cold voice was heard behind them: “Who is making a ruckus, disrupting other customers from enjoying their time at Bluemoon?”
Everyone turned around when they heard the voice, and the manager almost cried upon seeing the man.
Jason had put him in a tight spot, and he was glad that the man had come to deal with this mess on his own.
When Vivian saw the person’s face, her face turned pale, and her eyes widened.
Could Sean be the owner of Bluemoon?
Vivian shook her head in denial.
No, this could not be. Sean was just a poor brat who grew up with a single mum. He was no heir to any affluent family, so there was no way he could have afforded to buy this hotel.
Maybe he was among the staff here, and his family was just freeloading.
Jason looked at Sean and frowned. He did not recall ever meeting this man in the past.
Seeing that he was just dressed in a simple white shirt and cheap pants, he thought maybe he was also the hotel staff.
Jason looked at him and sneered, “And who are you to butt in on things that do not concern you?”
The hotel manager looked at Sean and spoke, “Bo,..”
But Sean raised his hand to stop him.
The manager immediately shut up. He knew that Sean liked to stay anonymous. In fact, he had only discovered his true identity by accident, and Sean warned him not to tell anyone, even his wife.
Sean rolled up his sleeves lightly and looked at Jason. So, this was the bastard who had caused his wife so much pain, leaving her at her most vulnerable state without a care in the world?
He left such an amazing woman like Natalie, only to end up with this gold digger? Just how blind was he?
Although he hated him for causing his wife pain, he had to thank him still, because if he had not been stupid and left Natalie, he would not have met her, and his life would still be incomplete.
Sean’s voice was dripping with coldness as he spoke to Jason, “Who am I doesn’t matter. All I can tell you is that from today onwards, you are welcome at Bluemoon Hotel. You can get lost before I call security.”
Jason laughed out loud as if he had just heard the funniest joke of the century.
He pointed at Sean and asked arrogantly, “Do you even know who I am? How dare you say that you will call security to throw me out?”
Sean looked at him, his expression still indifferent and his eyes turning even colder. “Do I have to know who you are? Are you some kind of Hollywood celebrity that everyone has to know your name?”
Jason was dumbfounded, and his expression changed. This was the first time someone was talking to him like that in Sterling City. Since he had never seen this man, he assumed that he might be new in the city.
After the realization, he nodded as if he just understood everything, “You must be new to Sterling City, or else, you shouldn’t be speaking to me in such a manner. Do you know that with a single phone call, I can get this whole place shut down?”
Sean did not want to argue with him. He took out his phone and called security personnel, “There is a nuisance making noise in the hotel, and disrupting people’s peace. I am giving you two minutes. I don’t want to see his face anywhere near this building.”
Jason thought that Sean was bluffing and laughed out loud. This squabble has attracted quite a crowd, and now, everyone marveled at Sean’s courage, but others felt like he was just putting on airs.
“Who exactly is this man? Looks like the heir of the Thompson family has finally gotten his match.”
“Jason has always been cocky, bullying everyone without a care. I can’t wait to see him embarrass himself tonight.”
“Do you really think Jason is scared of anyone? I think that the man is just bluffing. He does not dare mess with the Thompsons unless he wants to vanish from Sterling City.”
“You can tell from how he is dressed that he is not someone of influence. Maybe he had too much to drink, and that was why he was acting up.”
Whether he is poorly dressed or not, he is more pleasing to the eye than that arrogant second-generation heir from the Thompson family. I can’t wait for him to be taught a lesson.”
Jason was about to say something, but the security guard entered.
Sean signaled them, and they stood in front of Jason and Vivian, “Sir, please leave with your family on your own accord, or we will be forced to throw you out by force.”
“Who are you? How dare you talk to me like that?”
“Sir, we are just doing our job. Please, move.”
Five minutes later, Jason was howling outside the hotel as he cursed and swore to have it closed down in twenty-four hours.
He never been so humiliated in his entire life!
Inside the hotel, Sean looked at everyone and apologized, “I am sorry, everyone. To make up to you, everyone can order whatever they want, all on the house.”
Everyone cheered. Those who had been bullied by Jason felt satisfied that someone had finally taught him a lesson.
They looked at Sean like he was some kind of god!
The next morning, the news of how Jason had been thrown out of Bluemoon Hotel and his VIP card revoked was all over the news.
The Thompson stock price was significantly affected, and Jason was so angry that he could not even breathe.
“Bastard! The day I lay my hands on him, I will teach him a lesson he will never forget!”
