I boiled with anger when I looked up and saw Lila standing there at the door. Even when she was staying in the house, she had no right to come in here so why would she come in when she’s no longer a member of the house? 
I was so angry and she got on my nerves the more when she started questioning me like she was my boss. Even if she were my boss, this is my personal affair and no one has a right to jump in unless I ask them to. 
If I had given in to my feelings, I would grab her and throw her out oh the house but I didn’t do that. She has a very petite body, I would hurt her if I did that. 
I tried hard to stay calm but she didn’t make it easy. She went from Eleanor to talking about our love. I accept that I got carried away that night at the dinner and I said things that should never have made it out of my mind. It was after I had confessed to falling in love with her that I realized my mistake. 
“If you’re sure you don’t love me, look into my eyes then and say you don’t.” She let out and I suddenly went mute.
I wasn’t expecting her to ask me that at all so it hit me out of nowhere. I didn’t know what to say because that would cause more confusion. I also didn’t want her to think she won so I thought of something but the moment I opened my mouth to talk, the words vanished. It was as if my head went blank and I ended up staring at her till I swallowed my breath. 
At that point, I didn’t need to say anything more, she already got her answer. My silence was louder than any answer I could have given. 
I saw that satisfied smirk line her cheeks and I suddenly got back my brain. My mouth suddenly knew what to say again and just before as she opened her mouth to talk, I cut in sharply. 
“I don’t… I don’t love you, Lila!” I let out and this time, she went mute. 
Silence took over between us and none of us said a word. We just stood there staring at each other in silence. It was as if we were waiting for each other to talk but no one did. 
“That’s alright then. Thank you for telling me the truth. Now that I know, I’ll be leaving your life for good. You won’t ever have to worry about me again.” She finally broke the silence between us. 
I didn’t believe her at first because that wasn’t the first time she’d say something and do the exact opposite. Even this conversation was a result of her not sticking to her words. If she had stayed in her lane as agreed. We wouldn’t be having this discussion.
However, I saw that look on her face as she turned to leave and I just knew she wasn’t bluffing this time around.
“Wait!” I said just as she got to the door. Her hand was already on the door handle and I could tell I was about losing her. If she walks out of here, I’d lose her, maybe forever.
“Please don’t go,” I added.
“You don’t want me here so there’s no point waiting around.” She chimed in and then opened the door to leave.
I don’t know how it happened, I can’t tell if I ran or flew but I was at the door in a split second. 
I closed the door and hugged her tightly from behind. She burst into tears then and that was it. I couldn’t take it. 
Hearing her sob broke my heart so I slowly turned her around to face me. I wiped her face clean and somehow, the tension between us increased and before we knew what was happening, we were pushing our tongues down each other’s throats and kissing. She suddenly stopped and looked into my eyes as of searching for answers. She was confused and I can’t blame her, I was too harsh on her.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that because it’s lie. I don’t know what came over me, I’m sorry I…” I hadn’t finished when she jumped on me and we started kissing again. 
We didn’t break it this time, nothing could have even been able to pull of apart. We were so engrossed in it and at a point, it felt like a hot battle because we couldn’t stay calm anymore. 
Our hands trailed each other’s bodies, she was touching me and I was too. We kissed till our lips started to beg for a break. That was when we decided to take it further.
“Are you sure?” I whispered in her mouth and she didn’t bother using words.
She stripped naked in a instant while I stood there for a long minute, admiring the beauty in front of me. Her body was so mesmerizing and when I finally reached to touch her, I couldn’t stop till we had made sweet passionate love…
