CHAPTER 86

NOAH'S POV

The next morning I was in the gym, shirtless and sweat was glistening on my chest, my ipod was plugged in when Jimmy called me, I turned off the treadmill and answered his call.

“Jimmy, I just pay you for taking your job way too seriously.” I told him as I wiped my face with a towel.

“That will be nice, I am a very efficient man, the thing is you have to attend a conference today.” Jimmy said to me.

I took a deep breath, and walked to another part of the gym, “Jimmy do I have to? is it important?" I asked him.

“It's important, because your uncle never missed any of this conference.” Jimmy replied to me.

I exhaled too catch my breath, “Fine send the details of the conference, I am gonna get ready and you too. I won't be stuck in a boring conference alone, if I am miserable you too will be miserable.” I told Jimmy sternly.

“I'll do just that, do I have a choice.” Jimmy said the call ended, he sent the details.

The mansion was awfully quiet and I took bottle water from the fridge. I took a sip as I walked to my room. I got into the shower and I had a cold shower, it was very refreshing and soothing to my muscles. I got out and I wore the outfit I picked. I wasn't quite feeling it, so I wore another one. I needed a stylist, so I texted Jimmy immediately telling him about my stylist situation, and he responded that he'll look into it.

I spoke with Anna, she sounds better today and we talked for a bit, and I told him I won't be visiting her today because I'll be busy. After talking with her I came downstairs, to meet Tyler already at the dining table on his phone.

“You look handsome today, are you going on a date?” Tyler asked me.

“No I am not, don't be dumb besides I don't need to go on a date, just to look handsome, I look good everyday, you weirdo.” I said to him,

“Okay, I'll give you that, Kim wants us to stay for breakfast, it's important.” Tyler says to me.

I looked at my wristwatch and sat down, “I have time, better be quick I have a conference to attend.'' I said out loud.

Kim came out of the kitchen with Miss Agnes, placing food on the dining table. She smiled at both of us, to which we replied. Kim went up to call uncle Rafael, and they both came down together, uncle sat down and Kim did too.

“Noah, I am sure you'll be attending the conference today.” uncle Rafael said to me.

“Yes, I'll, I just wanted to stay and have breakfast, Kim here insisted that we all do.” I replied to uncle Rafael.

Uncle Rafael looked at Kim, “Darling is this true?” he asked, looking at her.

Kim was beaming with smiles, “Yes it's true I asked everyone to be here, because I have an announcement to make.” she began.

With a cheerful and happy demeanor, she cleared her throat, took a deep breath, her smile still widening, “I'm two months pregnant.”

There was a moment of silence, before the news sank in before the room erupted with joy.

“No way,” Tyler exclaimed, his eyes widening with excitement. “I'm gonna be an uncle.”

Uncle Rafael’s face, lit up with a smile that seemed to stretch from ear to ear. “Kim, that's amazing news! we are going to be parents' babies.”

I was momentarily speechless, I found my voice. “Kim this is incredible news! I'm so happy for the both of you!” I got up from my seat and walked around the table to hug Kim. “Congratulations, Kim,” I said warmly to her, then turned to uncle Rafael and clasped his shoulder. “You're going to be a great dad, uncle Rafael.”

Kim blushed, clearly happy by our reaction to her news, “Thank you Noah, I'm so excited and a little nervous, but I can't wait to meet our little one.”

“Darling, I'm right here we'll do this together okay, we'll make it work.” uncle Rafael said to her.

Kim looked at us at the table, “I'm ready for this adventure. and I'm so lucky to have such a supportive family.”

Tyler, still filled with excitement, looked at me. “Noah, can you believe this? we're going to have a baby cousin!”

I looked at him, and smiled. “It's wonderful news, Ty. this family keeps getting better, a baby I'm sure is going to spoil him silly." I said.

“I won't be left out, brother.” Tyler added.

Uncle Rafael and Kim, shared their plans and hope for the baby, while Ty and I offered our help and support.

“Noah, you'll be an amazing role model to our child.” Kim said to me with sincerity. “We're a

so lucky to have you in our lives.”

I felt a swell of emotion. “Thank you Kim. That means a lot to me. And you know you can count on me for anything.”

The rest of the breakfast was filled with excitement and plans for the baby. I left to get to the conference as Jimmy was already outside waiting for me.

When I stepped out of my car, the grand entrance of the CEO’S Conference was filled with press and fans, all eager to meet me today. As I appeared on the red carpet before I went up to the conference meeting, a swarm of reporters, microphones and cameras were trusted in my direction.

“Mr Wilder, over here what are your thoughts on your new hotel?”

“Mr Wilder, how does it feel to be the youngest CEO here?”

“Mr Wilder, what of your girlfriend Rebecc?”

I forced a smile, nodding politely as I walked through the crowd, Jimmy followed behind trying to keep the chaos at bay.

Amidst the chaos, I felt a sharp tug on my wrist and my wristwatch was gone, I looked at my wrist and it was gone. We got to the lobby and Jimmy noticed my countenance.

“Jimmy my watch was stolen, I'll be needing security detail from now on.” I said to him,

“I'm on it,” Jimmy said with a serious face.

After the conference was over, Jimmy told me he has gotten a good security company and they've sent the pictures and bio data of their best security guard. I looked at all the pictures and I saw, one that I liked, a black man with a serious look on his face,

“Jimmy, I want this one, James Hall.” I told him.

“Great choice boss, we'll be seeing him by tomorrow at the mansion.

We got into the car, and Jimmy was still typing on his tablet.

“Jimmy, Kim announced this morning that she's two months pregnant.” I told him to get his attention.

Jimmy's fingers paused mid_typing, and he looked up at me, his eyes filled with excitement. “No way! That's amazing news, Noah! How did uncle Rafael take it?”

“He's over the moon. you should have seen him. and Tyler too is happy about this. we all are." I said to him,

Jimmy smiled dreamily, “Kim and uncle Rafael will make great parents.”

“Yeah, they will. It's gonna be a big change but it's great.” I said and saw Jimmy daydreaming obviously.

“What's up with that look? Jimmy.” i says to him.

“I'm just imagining how our babies will look.” Jimmy said to me.

“Jimmy, man don't be weird, you're scaring me right now.” I told him.

“Uh not like that, me and beautiful Latoye.”

“They'll look fine, I guess.” I said to him,

“Jimmy, hope the hospital has security as well, I don't want to take chances.” I said to Jimmy.

“Yes, I have already.” Jimmy replied to me.
