Chapter 58

Riana had heard about Alpha Killian's voice,his former Alpha. But again it was just part of her dream.

He had wanted to see him for a long time. She could no longer contain her curiosity and the next morning she decided to go for a walk around the castle grounds, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. As she walked around, she saw someone walking towards her with a determined stride - Alpha Killian.

"Hi,"Alpha Killian greeted him.

"Hello,"he replied. 

Riana couldn't help but take in every detail of him as she drew closer and closer. Before she realized it, he had noticed her stares and asked her if she was okay and why she was looking at him. She was too embarrassed to admit her curiosity so she just said that she was admiring the painting behind him.Alpha Killian smiled and said that he had been taking walks around the castle and saw that painting picture.

"I already saw it. I admit it was really nice,"he smiled. 

"Yeah It was,"she smiled at him.

Riana couldn't believe her luck and saw this as a sign to take the opportunity and ask Alpha Killian to show her around the castle. 

Alpha Killian cannot hide his denial feelings for Riana. He knows he needs to avoid Riana.But Why is she approaching him like this? 

Before either of them had a chance to say anything, they both stepped back and put distance between them. They both knew that it was too soon, and it was too complicated to explore these hidden feelings.

"Ahmmm,I hope Alpha Diego will return as soon as possible,"he said.

"Do you really like to be with him now?" Alpha Killian asked.

"Yes I am." he answered.

For weeks, they kept their distance from each other, avoiding any situations that could bring them too close. They both knew they had to get back to their normal friendship, but it was hard to find the same comfort they once had.

"What is this feeling,"she said confusedly.

Finally, a few weeks later, they found themselves in the same library again. This time, they both smiled and the tension between them seemed to vanish. They still didn't talk about their feelings, but they both knew that something had changed.

"Something changes in you,"he said.

"What?"Riana asked him.

"I mean you look so blooming and sexy,"he smiled.

Riana blushed and avoided his stares.

From that day on, they started to become closer again. They talked more often and started to share more of themselves with each other. They still hadn't made any big decisions, but it was clear that something was growing between them.

"Don't mind it. It was just a compliment from me,"he said seriously.

At first it was slow, but soon enough, they both realized that they were in love. It was strange and unexpected, but it felt right. They continued to take things slow, but they both knew that they were meant to be.

"Thank you"she smiled sparingly.

Alpha Killian had to say goodbye to Riana. He had been called away on a secret mission with gammas and he didn't know when — or if — he would ever return.

Riana was heartbroken, but she understood. She hugged him tight and said her goodbye, wishing him the best of luck on his journey.

"Are you really sure you want to go?"Riana asked him.

"Yes it is really important,"he replied.

Alpha Killian was about to leave, but then he saw his Luna in the crowd. It was Zillah, Zillah who had been his mate but Alpha Killian had always respected him.

"What's happening here? Why are you two are so sweet?"she asked emphatically.

"No we're not.what are you talking about,Zillah?!"she asked, frowning. 

The two men locked eyes and Alpha Killian knew he had to stay. He and Zillah quickly caught up , and Alpha Killian found out that Zillah had recently been recruited by a secret organization.

"What do I know about you? you had been involved in an organization of Rogues. Is it true?"Alpha Killian asked.

"Hey! What  the hell are you talking about?! You are out of the topic!" 

"Tell me why are you so sweet?"Zillah added.

"Shut up,Zillah..I need to go,"he said emphatically.

He had been given a mission, and he really hated Zillah's words to him.

"I'll go ahead,"he said goodbye.

"Alpha!"Zillah called him but he didn't listen.

Alpha Killian knew he had to take the mission, but he was also worried about leaving Riana. 

So Alpha Killian said his final goodbye to Zillah, promising to keep in touch. He was unsure if he would ever come back, but he knew that he had to try.

"I will get in touch with you as soon as I arrive,"he said calmly. 

With a heavy heart, Alpha Killian left with Riana too and embarked on his mission. He wasn't sure what the future would bring, but he was determined to make the most of it.

Alpha Killian had always been loyal Alpha. He had been sent on a mission to the other side of the world and was due to return home soon.

As he thought about the joy of seeing his beloved again, a nagging fear crept up on him. Alpha Diego, his brother. If he was to return home first, would Riana still be waiting for him?

Killian was determined to make it back before Diego. He put all his energy into the mission, pushing himself to the limits.

He eventually made it back first, and as he stepped foot onto his home soil, he was relieved to find Riana still waiting for him. She ran up to him and embraced him tightly.

Through that embrace, Killian found the courage to keep going, to never give up, no matter how difficult the mission. He had proved that he was the one she could rely on and that she was his one and only.
