Chapter 200 Who Is This?

It's been six months since Mr Johnson had left the Johnson residence. His ex-wife, Rosemary Johnson, still had hope that he would come back home. She had tried several times to reach her ex-husband to no avail. Even her precious son had abandoned her. She never thought that the love of her life would ever divorce her because of their special love. She was sitting in the living room reminiscing on her divorce. Since her divorce, she has never gone out with her friends. Her friends invited her several times but she turned them down. She didn't want to tell them that her beloved husband had left her. Last week, she received a call from one of her friends asking her to meet her at His Wings restaurant at 3 pm. She was ashamed to tell her that she was banned from entering the restaurant. At 2 pm she asked her driver to take her to His Wings restaurant. She went early to plead with the manager to lift the ban one time.

On their way home, Victoria received a call from Mr Johnson, "Hello Victoria, are you at home?" Victoria told him that they were on their way home. Mr Johnson asked them to meet him at His Wings restaurant. Victoria told him that she would come back to him. Victoria looked at her husband and said, "I miss my babies, I don't want to go to the restaurant." It was the first time Victoria had left her babies home. She was devoted to taking care of her sons. Mark comforted her and replied, "Sweetheart, you need to go out sometimes. Since we haven't eaten lunch yet, let's meet Mr Johnson. Maybe there is something important he wants to tell you." Victoria nodded her head, and called Mr Johnson. He told her that he would be at the restaurant in twenty minutes' time. Mark turned the car around and drove to His Wings restaurant.

When they arrived at the restaurant, they saw the manager arguing with customers. Mark asked his wife to stay in the car. He got out of the car and approached the manager and greeted him, "What is the matter?" The manager greeted Mr Anthony with respect and explained, "Mr Anthony, sorry to trouble you. Mrs Johnson's friends made a reservation to celebrate Mrs Johnson's birthday but she was banned from entering the restaurant. I have told them several times but they refuse to leave. They are disturbing other patrons." Mark looked at Mrs Johnson and said, "Mrs Johnson, please leave, this is not the only restaurant in this area." Mrs Johnson was so embarrassed she wished there was a hole she could crawl into and die. She had never been humiliated like that before. Mark was still holding grudges against Mrs Johnson for beating up his lovely wife.

At that moment, Mrs Johnson saw her ex-husband's car in the corner of her eye. It was as if she saw her savior. She was sure that Mark would not chase her out in front of Mr Johnson. The car was driven by Butler Ed. Mrs Johnson rushed to the car to complain to her ex-husband about the ill treatment she received from the Manager and Mark. Butler Ed opened the door for Mr Johnson. Mr Johnson reached out his hand. Mrs Johnson halted her steps when she saw her ex-husband smiling brightly at the other woman. Her heart nearly stopped beating. Who gave that woman confidence to steal her beloved husband? She rushed to her ex-husband and asked, "Emmanuel, who is this?" Her ex-husband replied annoyed, "Rosemary, it's none of your business. We are no longer related, you don't have the right to ask me anything about my private life." She was shocked to hear her ex-husband's words. Her mind went blank. She stood rooted to the ground in a daze. She didn't notice that she was crying, tears streamed down her face. When she came back to her senses, her ex-husband and his lady friend were entering the restaurant with Mark and Victoria. Her friends were shocked to see their friend's husband in the arms of another woman. They felt that Mr Johnson was cruel to do that since it was Rosemary's birthday today. They went to her and asked, "Rosemary, what is going on?" Rosemary cried out loud and replied, "Emmanuel divorced me six months ago. I am sorry for not telling you I was so ashamed. Emmanuel and James are blaming me for Serene's mistakes." Her friends were dumbfounded. They couldn't believe their ears. Rosemary told them that she was not feeling well. She thanked them for their kind gesture and left.

She decided to go to her son's apartment. She was crying all the way. Fortunately, James was at home watching soccer with his best friend John. Rosemary looked at John and said, "Please leave, I want to speak to my son." Before John could respond, James looked at his mother with disdain in his eyes and replied, "Mom, this is my apartment and you don't have a right to chase my friend away. Please leave." His mother was so upset, she shouted at her son, "James Johnson, don't ever talk to me like that, show me some respect." John didn't utter a word. He just walked to the guest room and left mother and son alone. James looked at his mother annoyed, "what is the matter?" His mother decided to change her manner of approach and said, "My dearest son, I apologize for my behavior. I am not in the right state of mind. I saw your father at His Wings restaurant with a lady. Do you know if your father is dating someone?" James looked at his mother and replied, "Mom, why didn't you ask my father since he was in front of you?" His mother replied, "I was so shocked my mind went blank. Please tell me if you know something, my precious son." James felt that it was not his place to tell his mother. "Mom, I will ask Dad, and I will come back to you." He sent off his mother and asked John to come back to the living room.

In the meantime, at His Wings restaurant, Mr Johnson looked at Mark and Victoria smiling and said, "Thank you for coming, I will not keep you long. I just want to share my happiest moment with you. I want to introduce my lovely wife to you. We registered our marriage two weeks ago." Mark and Victoria were so shocked they were not aware that Mr Johnson had already divorced. Victoria stood up and hugged Aunt Abigail tightly. She looked at her and said, "Congratulations Aunt Abigail, may the Lord give you all the desires of your heart." Aunt Abigail smiled brightly and said, "I receive it gladly, my dearest Victoria. Victoria then hugged Mr Johnson smiling brightly at him, "Congratulations Dad, may the Lord shower you with lots of blessings as you start your new journey. I am so happy for you." Mr Johnson kissed Victoria on both cheeks and thanked her. Mark looked at them smiling and said, "May the Lord bless you and give you strength to overcome any situation." He kissed Aunt Abigail in both cheeks and hugged Mr Johnson. Aunt Abigail said, "we receive it gladly." Then the waiter came with their food.
