"Thank you," I remarked with a contented sigh after Cody finished giving me an exceptional massage.

"I should have figured out the puzzle when both of you were sharing so much about your family... I’ve really been foolish all this time," he admitted with a sigh.

"Don’t say that, sweetheart. You weren’t foolish. Who would have guessed that Knight is my brother? If you’re calling yourself foolish, what does that make me for not recognizing my own brother?" I responded, and he scoffed.

"That’s a different matter, sweetheart," he chuckled.

"Well... I don’t see it that way," I replied, giving his lips a gentle kiss.

"You know what? That’s all behind us now... We’re together again, and we shouldn’t dwell on that anymore. Right now, I think we should focus on more enjoyable things," I suggested, playfully kissing his nose, which made him laugh.

“Finally... I was starting to think you preferred the bathroom to this room,” Knight commented as soon as I stepped out.  

“I don’t! It’s barely been five minutes... You should be saying that was quick,” I replied with a sigh as I moved toward the wardrobe.  

“Who were you talking to?” I inquired while opening the wardrobe. He had left a few minutes earlier for an urgent phone call.  

“Just someone from one of my companies; my assistant mentioned that the board wants to meet with me,” he explained, and I nodded in acknowledgement with a hum.  

“Are you still dealing with that indigestion?” he asked, and I quickly shook my head while rummaging for one of his oversized T-shirts.

"If you're still experiencing any pain, please let me know so I can take you to the hospital. I've been quite anxious since you mentioned it," he said.

"I'm fine, love. It might just be because I didn't drink enough water," I replied. "Don't worry, I'm completely okay."

"Then what do you think you’re doing?" he asked, and I turned to find him sitting on the bed, gazing at me with desire.

"I've missed your body so much, and I don’t think we're just going to sleep tonight, darling," he said, standing and walking toward me.

"I thought you said you missed me too, so why are you looking for something to wear?" he said, and I smiled.

"I do miss you, love, but I need you to tell me everything I should know before we do anything today," I said, and he raised his eyebrows at me.

"But that can wait… I promise I’ll tell you everything afterward. I really want you right now," he said, but I immediately shook my head.

Come over to the bed, and I’ll share everything with you," he said, taking my hand and guiding me towards it.

"What do you want to know?" he questioned, gazing deeply into my eyes.

"I need to understand why you took so many lives. What led you to become an assassin? I've been pretending to be fine, but I’m really eager to know what motivated you, especially since you’re so wealthy," I replied, and he let out a sigh.

"Alright... where should I begin?" he remarked, rubbing his forehead.

"Start from when you regained consciousness after being beaten and thrown off that bridge," I suggested, and he sighed again.

"It’s a detailed story, my dear. Can we make love first before I dive into it?" he proposed, but I quickly crossed my arms and shook my head like a stubborn child.

"Alright then. After those idiots tossed me into the water... I was later found on the riverbank, and fortunately for me, my dad was out fishing. He spotted me and had his bodyguards bring me to safety.

He brought me to the hospital, and after a few days, I regained consciousness, but tragically, I had lost all my memories. I couldn’t recall my name, my home address, or anything else.

He attempted to track down my parents and even placed me on the news, but despite his efforts, no one came forward. As a result, he decided to adopt me as his son and named me Knight. After a few days, I was discharged, and he took me to his home, where I discovered that he was quite wealthy. He introduced me to his son, Kaine, who initially took a liking to me. He was so excited about having a brother that he proudly shared the news with his friends, claiming he now had someone to play with.

I noticed that he didn’t have a wife, so I inquired about it, and he explained that she had traveled abroad. It was later that Kaine revealed that his mother had left with a much younger man, leaving him with just his father. He exhaled deeply as he spoke.

Things were initially going well, but problems arose when Kaine started to feel extremely jealous of the attention my dad was giving me. While it’s natural to feel jealous, his emotions escalated into outright hatred. He began to bully me in my father’s absence, even pressuring his friends to join in. One day, he pushed me down the stairs, resulting in broken legs. He claimed he hadn’t done it, but fortunately, my dad had installed cameras in the room. Kaine was caught in the act, and as a consequence, my dad sent him to a boarding school far away.

In retrospect, that turned out to be a significant mistake on my dad's part. Kaine fell in with a bad crowd and only got worse. By the age of 16, he had started smoking, and one day I found him in his room injecting a substance into his veins. This deeply troubled me, so I decided to inform my dad.

To summarize, things took a drastic turn when my dad confronted Kaine after he threatened me with a gun. I felt terrible about the situation, but I knew it wasn’t my fault. We were managing fine after that, but then one day, I returned home from school and noticed the gaurds and maids looking really moody with red eyes....... That was the last day I ever saw him and believe that was the saddest day of my life..... He was such a good man"

"They couldn't succeed because..... As if he knew he that this was going to happen........His lawyer said that dad willed everything to me and they grew really mad and planned to kill me"

"I became scared and knew that if I don't run away...... They'll come for me so I ran away from home, Not without getting all their names. I went to a town quite far from here and that was when I found Cody and Creed, They knew I was stranded and took me in even without knowing who I was........... So I opened up to them and told them what happened...... how I plan on avenging dad's death......so they insisted that they'll help me avenge his death"

"We all learnt things to be killers, Creed is quite good in combat, Cody is a great shooter and I'm really good with Knives and guns too. So I hired more boys with the money that dad left for me and that was how I built a gang"
