Chapter 55: Epilogue

Nina's point of view 

As I gazed at the sky, a profound sense of sadness enveloped me while I watched the stars. Their presence evokes memories of my parents, particularly my mother. During her lifetime, she found great joy in observing the stars, believing that upon passing, a person's spirit transforms into a star. She would often sing to them, convinced that her own mother was watching over her. 

"I hope you have indeed become one of those stars, Mother," I whispered, my voice trembling as tears streamed down my face. 

"Your little Nina is managing well. I have formed wonderful friendships, and they are taking excellent care of me... Look, I have even gained some weight," I remarked with a faint chuckle.

"Is Father nearby? Please convey to him that his little mushroom is doing alright," I added with a bittersweet smile.

"I’m in a big house now, wearing nice clothes and enjoying tasty food... I just wish you guys were here with me right now. I really miss your hugs, Mom and Dad, and I miss your teasing, especially when you call me 'mushroom'," I said softly as I pulled out my phone. I opened my playlist and hit play on 'How Do I Say Goodbye' by Dean Lewis. Whenever I feel their absence, this song helps me express it, and I sing along loudly.

"So how do I say goodbye

To someone who's been with me my whole life?

You gave me my name and the colour of your eyes

I see your face when I look at mine

"You have a beautiful voice," I heard, and I turned around to find Keith grinning at me. 

"Wow, you scared me! How long have you been standing there?" I said, putting my hand on my chest. 

"Long enough to enjoy your singing! I didn’t mean to startle you... I just really loved listening to you," he replied, making me smile.

"So... why are you still up?" he asked while stepping closer to me.

"Well... I've just got a lot on my mind, and I really just want to keep looking at the stars," I replied, and he nodded, standing nearby.

"Mind sharing what's on your mind? I couldn't sleep, and trust me, I'm a great listener," he said with a wink that made me laugh.

"What? You think I'm joking?" he asked, and I quickly shook my head.

"Nope, just laughing," I said with a sigh.

"I was just thinking about my late parents," I admitted, biting my lip.

"Oh, I'm really sorry. What happened to them?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, and I took a deep breath.

"Don’t be. That jerk, Giveon, had them killed. I'm sure she's up there now," I said, pointing at the stars.

"The stars?" he asked, and I nodded.

"Yeah, my mom always said that if she ever passed away, she'd love to come back as one of them," I explained with another sigh, and he started staring at the sky too.

“Why are you still up?” I asked, and he chuckled right away. 

“I don’t usually hit the sack that early. I was watching TV in my room, but I got bored and thought I’d come get some fresh air,” he replied, and I nodded. 

“I’m starting to feel a bit sleepy,” I said, letting out a yawn. 

“Really? I was actually enjoying our chat,” he said, making me smile a little and chew on my lip. 

“You look so cute when you do that,” he added, which made me blush even more. 

“You know… I think it’s the perfect time to say this… ever since I saw you that day, I’ve felt really drawn to you. You’re beautiful, cute, and just amazing. I like you, and I’d love for you to be my girlfriend,” he said, causing me to bite my lip. 

“It’s totally fine if you don’t feel the same way; I get that it’s only been a few weeks, but I know what I feel,” he continued. 

“I like you too! Honestly, the moment I laid eyes on you, I felt something inside me, and I’d really like to be your girlfriend,” I said, and he immediately broke into a wide smile.

"Thank you very much for accepting me, I feel so happy.... You just made my day"He said and I smiled looking at how happy he is.

"I was planning to ask you out if you didn't, and I'm glad you just did"I said and he burst into laughter.

"You didn't just say that"He said with a grin.

"I meant it, I'm glad you did"I said .

"Can....... Can I kiss you??"He asked and I nodded shyly. And the next thing I felt was his extra soft pink lips on mine.

         Prescott's point of view 

I hurriedly packed my car and rushed into the bar searching for her, She called me not too long ago sounding really drunk. All thanks to the bartender who collected her phone and told me the address.

I finally saw her seated in front of the bartender and I immediately rushed to her. She looked so wasted and she was still drinking more beers.

"Good evening"I yelled to the bartender because the bar was really so noisy.

"Yeah,Were you the one that I spoke to on phone??"He asked and I nodded.

"Thank god you're here,I've been trying to make her stop drinking but she's been causing a big fuss" He said  and i glanced at her immediately.

"How much is your money??"I asked.

"It's 25 bucks"He said and I immediately paid him.

"Come on let's go, Esmeralda"I said and tried to collect the bottle from her but she was holding it so tight.

"Come on, let it go"I said and snatched it from her.

"What??.......How.......dare...... you??...... give me my bottle"She murmured with a stutter twinkling her eyes.

"You're so drunk already, Get up..... I'll drive you home"I said and she scoffed loudly immediately.

"I......don't want........ to....go home"She said and shook her head childishly immediately. I tried to make her stand on her feet but it was really hard so I immediately carried her walking out of the bar.

"Thank you"I muttered to the bartender and carried her bag.

"Put me down"She yelled suddenly and roughly jumped down from my back when we got outside.

"It's late already and if you're acting like this then it's going to be a problem"I said and bent down to carry her but she burst into tears immediately.

"After....... After waiting my whole life for him to return.......He chose that girl over me"She said crying bitterly and I immediately knew Who she was referring to. She didn't see me but I saw her when she walked out of Boss's hospital ward earlier and Creed had told me all that happens. 

"My....... My Flinn .......Told me to move on without him and I swear it hurts so badly"

"My heart is literally bleeding and I don't think I'll love someone else like I love him....... He should have been mine but dad ruined my life"She yelled and grabbed her hair pulling it really hard.

"I just want to die right now because I can't bear this pain...... I feel like my heart was ripped off"She said and I immediately held her hand.

"You're hurting yourself, You shouldn't act this way"I said and she paused crying immediately.

"I...... I shouldn't act this way??, Have your heart ever been broken before??"She asked staring at me with her red eyes.

"No you haven't, You don't know how painful it is Prescott"She said and shook her head.

"I hate my dad, I hate him so much that I'm afraid that if go back home I might just kill him with my bare hands"She said and smirked evily.

"Dad made me lose my child and Flinn and for that he lost me too, I just don't want to ever set my eyes on him again"She said and stood up but staggered immediately and I had to hold her from falling.

"My car is over there, Let's go in I don't really love driving in the night"I said and held her . This time she didn't struggle but gently followed me to my car. I helped her fastened her seatbelt and quickly rushed over to the other side of the car.

"Don't take me home.......I'm serious I might just really kill him"I heard her muttered and glanced at her to see her already asleep.

Okay...... I have no choice then than to take her to my apartment,I thought and started the car, driving off.

#MORNING#

BLUEY'S POINT OF VIEW 

I smiled as I watched knight sleeping so peaceful......He really look so innocent when he sleep and I couldn't help but to rub his full eyebrows.

Last night was so f**king hot and I just can't stop reminiscing about it, Can't believe I really rode Knight, I mean Sasha was right...... It felt so good.

I bit my lips and pecked his lips immediately, I don't know if it's because of this pregnancy but my urge for s*x has started rising and I just hope Knight is ready for me.

I moved more closer to him and pecked his eyebrows this time and he smiled widely. 

"Good morning, Baby"I muttered and he oppened his eyes slowly.

"Morning, Mine"He said and pecked me.

"How was your night??"I muttered and pecked his bare chest.

"It was the best,How are you and my Baby doing??"He said and I smiled.

"We're fine"I muttered and he hummed in response. 

"I......... "I was going to say something when I felt nauseous immediately and rushed into the restroom to puke, Damn..... I can't believe I'll have to go through all these,I thought and wiped my lips.

"Are you okay, Mine?"I heard and turned to see him standing at the door staring worriedly at me.

"I'm fine, Baby, Just felt a little nauseous"I said and he sighed and walked closer to me.

"I'm sorry you're going through all this because of my child"He said and I chuckled.

"You don't have to be, it's also my child and besides you don't know how happy I am that I'll soon be a mom"I said and he smiled immediately.

"Thank you, Mine" He said and hugged me from behind kissing my neck.

"I know you must be hungry...... Come on, I'll bath you myself this morning so that we can go downstairs for breakfast"He said and I blushed as he took me into the bathroom.

"Good morning, Mom, Good morning guys"I said immediately I walked into the big dining room and everyone cleared their throats immediately making me a bit confused.

"Urmmmm, What's going on??"I asked with a huff and they immediately shook their heads.

"Morning baby, How was your night??"Mom said with a smile.

"It was great"I said and she smiled widely and winked at me. 

"Of course it was"She said and everyone chuckled.

"Good morning, sis"Benjamin murmured scooping more food into his mouth.

"Morning, Ben, Slow down or you're going to choke"I said and he nodded but didn't stop stuffing more food into his mouth.

"Glutton'I muttered and shook my head.

"Good morning, Boss"The boys chorused and Knight chuckled.

"I would prefer if you all call me by my name from now henceforth"He said and they nodded.

"Good morning, Brother"Sasha said with a smile which knight returned.

"Morning,Sosha" He said and she grinned.

"The table is so full"I said staring at their faces before sitting down close to Knight. Sasha, Mom, Benjamin, Cody, Creed, Axe, Keith, Nina, and some other boys were all sitted at the table.

"Urmmm.... Where's Prescott?"I asked noticing his absence.

"I called him some minutes ago and he said he's got something urgent to do in school today...... so he won't be able to make it"Cody said and I nodded.

"Oh okay"I said and picked up my Spoon.

"Hmmmmm, So tasty, I'm guessing that my mom made this food"I said and everyone nodded.

"We just awarded her the chef of the century, I mean it's been long I ate such tasty and delicious food"Creed said and mom smiled.

"Am I lying, Babe?? "Creed asked Axe and he immediately shook his head.

"It's the truth, I literally don't even want to talk to anyone right now but enjoy this delicacy"Axe said and everyone chuckled.

"Their right mom, Your food is great"Knight said after taking a spoonful.

"Thanks guys"Mom said already blushing really hard.

"I'm glad I'll enjoy your food for a while"I said and she sighed out.

"What's wrong mom??"I asked.

"That's because I got a call from office and I'll be going back home today...... Already booked a flight"She said and everyone at the table sighed sadly immediately.

'I thought I'll enjoy your food for some more days, Mom"Sasha said and everyone nodded.

"Me too, But...... But I want you to start longer mom"I said but she shook her head. 

"Sorry Bluey, I really have to resume Tomorrow"she said and I scoffed immediately.

I sighed and glanced at Benjamin to see him giving me a side eye, It seems like he's trying to tell me something.

"Wait.......Are you seeing someone?"I said and she Immediately chocked on her food.

"You're seeing someone?"I said and noticed her cheeks became red.

"Who's he?"I asked but she just remained quiet obviously really shy.

"George Duncan"Benjamin screamed and I gasped immediately.

"You're dating your boss??"I said and she nodded.

"Wow, I'm happy for you, You finally moved on"I said and she exhaled in relief. She wasn't expecting that I'lld get mad was she?? ,Because I've always wanted her to move on since like forever.

"Okay...... That's good news,Congrats Mom"I said and she smiled.

"Congrats, Mom"I said and she nodded.

"Ok, Less talking more eating" Creed said and we all chuckled before digging in. 

I stared at each and everyone of them and smiled happily, They are all my family and I'm so happy at this moment.

EPILOGUE 

            Bluey's point of view     

"Give me back my phone"

"No i won't"

"I'm going to tell mom"

"Then go ahead" Little Killian and Kylie,Our 5 years old twin yelled at eachother running round the living room. 

"How dare you call Lisa, an ugly doll.....there's no way I'm giving this phone back to you"Killian yelled angrily running with his sister's phone.

"Dad isn't going to save you from me this time"Kylie yelled breathing heavily.

"Oh you think...... You were the one that dad saved from me the last time"Killian said with a chuckle running.

"That's enough kids"I said with a deep sigh. I'm already so tired of then already. They're always fighting over little things and the worst part is they don't fear me but only their dad, Knight.

"What's it this time, you guys are literally giving me headache"I said holding my little baby boy, Charles ,who's 9 months old.

"Killian won't give me back my phone"Kylie said with a whimper.

"And why won't you give her sister back her phone, Killian?, Please give her back her phone I really don't have the energy for you two"I said staring at him.

"She called Lisa, An ugly doll in school today, mom, Like how could she?"He said and scoffed with an eye roll. He gives me this Benjamin's vibe when he was younger..... So annoying but yet still, cute.

"And who's this Lisa if I may ask?"I asked staring amused, keenly at the both of them. 

"She's a really ugly girl in our class and Killian is crushing on her"Kylie said and Killian frowned immediately.

"She's not ugly ,Dork,she's far more prettier than you"He said glaring hard at his sister.

"If I'm ugly then you're indirectly calling mom ugly then, Because I look so much like her"Kylie said making Killian to scoffed immediately said 

"Don't you dare compare mom's beauty to yours, Mom is far more prettier than you"He said and rolled his eyes.

"I'm so glad little Charles don't look like you"Kylie said and he rolled his eyes.

"That's enough guys, Give her back her phone, Killian"I said but he rolled his eyes.

"Now"She said and he threw the phone at her luckily she caught it.

"You guys are literally going to be the death of me"I said with a frown and just then we heard the door opened and turned to see knight walking in looking so damn dashing in his suit.

"Daddy"They screamed immediately they saw him and ran to him.The maids collected his briefcase and he oppened his arms as his kids welcomed him. 

"Hey"Knight said with a smile and hugged them both.

"How are you guys doing?"He asked. 

"I'm not fine, Dad, Killian took my phone and refused to give it to me"Kylie said.

"But I've given it to you"Killian said.

"You just did, After mom told you to"Kylie said.

"Okay that's enough.....you promised you'll stop finding each others trouble. I'm coming, Need to hug my wife, It's been more than 6 hours "Knight said and walked towards me,giving me a tight hug.

"Good evening, Honey"I greeted but he kissed me instead.

"How was your day?"He asked after he broke the kiss.

"It was stressful, Those two literally fights every two minutes" I said with a pout and he chuckled.

"I'm so sorry about that" He said and pecked me again.

"How's my little Champion doing? "He said and collected Charles from me. 

"He's sleeping, I just finished breastfeeding him"I said and Knight chuckled.

"He's so cute"Knight said and kissed his forehead staring adorably at him.

"Come on, Let's go upstairs"He said and held my hand walking upstairs while the kids remained in the living room arguing nonstop. 

This past years was peaceful and the best years of our lives. Knight married me when I was 5 months pregnant,He and I gave birth to twins, Killian and Kylie. I mean I never thought I was carrying a set of twins and in my stomach.

Knight took over fully as the CEO of his company and his company is the top richest in the country. He really meant it when he said that his parents should give their Company to Sasha because she's currently running it with the help of her husband, Cody,  Yeah those two love birds married 3 years ago and right now........ They have a child, Camilla and she's 2 years old.

Creed and Axe relocated to Mexico, They got married some years back and adopted a little girl, Diana. While Nina graduated from College this year and Keith proposed to her......so they're engaged. 

Esmeralda and Prescott are married too and she's currently heavily pregnant with his baby.I mean how happier can I be. 

Knight had been so good to us,He gave me one of his company, Mall and some others .And he even built an estate for me too...... I'm currently collecting all the house rents and believe me that's no small money. For the kids as little as they are...... They've seen money as nothing, He built schools, Parks and so many others in their name and as little as they are they both own a Tesla each. He's planning to open up a school and mall in Charles name and believe me he will.

I could never be happier than this....... Who knew that just a kiss would turn my life around, Who knew that I'ld fall in love with the dreaded assassin and even carry his babies ?, I'm so thankful to Sasha for taking me to that club that night and thank you to her friend who dared me to kiss My baby.

Oh right, I forgot to tell you guys...... Liv gave me a visit at the hospital and she now has a girlfriend.  She apologized for making me uncomfortable and we're in great terms now.

"Mine,"I heard him call from the bathroom.

"I'm coming, Honey"I yelled and bit my lips before taking off my clothes and running into the bathroom.
