"You are hiding something from me, what happened when you saw Sophia?"
"Nothing" he lied
"Don't give me nothing Adams, what happened when you saw Sophia?" Mary demanded firmly.
"It was a mistake"
"You made love to her."
"It wasn't love making, it was just sex."
"Was it before or after the divorce?"
"Mary please don't, it was beyond my control and I regret it now."
"Please answer the question Adams."
"It was after she signed the papers." He said regretfully
"I'm out of here" Mary said and got up from the bed, she wore her clothes while Adams tried to make her see reasons with him.
"Mary, it will never happen again."
"It will, if after the divorce you still had sex with her, what makes you so sure that when she comes back you won't part her legs and fuck her hard and make her moan."
"Mary don't say that."
"That is the obvious truth, if you divorced her because you wanted to be with me, you would not still go to bed with her. But you did, so just forget all this that has happened between us, good night."
"Mary I know you are mad at me, but please don't go out tonight, it is late, I'll leave the bed for you, tomorrow you can go." He pleaded and left the room to sleep on the couch.
The next morning, Mary left the house without speaking a word to him.
"I have an announcement to make." Adams announced as they ate in Alisha's house after Ina had been discharged.
"I'll go check on Ina to make sure she is sleeping fine." Mary tried to excuse herself
"Mary, hold on this concerns you." Adams said
"Mr. Adams what is the issue?" Alfonso asked and Alisha and Anna also gave their father a questioning look.
"Well, this is important to me. I got divorced with your mother two months ago, I asked for the divorce and even when she thought I was joking and would be back to her soon, I have decided I am done with her." He stated his announcement.
"Well it's about time, glad she is old news." Anna said and continued her food
"Dad, I am glad you finally did this, but I would like to know what motivated you to do it." Alisha added
"I met a woman, and I am in love." Adams said
"I don't think I should be here, I'll go check on Ina now." Mary said and got up from the table before anyone stopped her.
"I love you Mary." Adams declared. Everyone was quiet. "And I'm sorry I hurt you with that one singular foolish act, and I promise it would never happen again." He added
"Woosh, couples fight already." Anna murmured
"I guess I need to start looking for another nanny for Ina" Alisha added right after Anna.
"When is the wedding?" Alfonso asked sharply
"Right after you and Alisha get married" Adams said and gave a questioning glance to Mary who had been quiet all the time.

"You look perfect" the makeup artist said to Alisha after she was done with her bridal makeup.
"Anna, what do you think?" Alisha asked Anna who has been very reserved since she picked a date for her wedding to Alfonso after her divorce to Leonardo had been finalized.
"Hmm yea, good, please excuse me" Anna replied and left the room.
"I think you should speak to her in private." Mary suggested to Alisha reading her worried expression.
Alisha was still in her bridal robe, with her hair and makeup done. The wedding dress was on the bed waiting to be worn. Alisha gave Mary a weak smile and left the room in search of Anna.
"Where are you going to? you should be getting ready dear" Adams asked Alisha went he met her at the hall way.
"I need to speak to Anna first; do you have an idea where she might be?"
"Her room dear, I saw her go in there."
"Thanks dad,"
"May I come in?" Alisha knocked on Anna's door
"Go get ready for your wedding, it's almost time for your joining."
"Can I at least speak to you first?"
"Just go away please."
"Five minutes Anna."
There was a short silence, before Anna opened the door, then went back to lie in bed and bury her face in her pillow.
"Anna, what is wrong?" Alisha asked but Anna would not respond or even give her a glance.
"I need you advice, or rather, maybe I need you to talk some sense to me, I don't know if getting married to Alfonso is the right thing to do, I know I should be grateful to him, and all, but then does he deserve me marrying him because I am grateful to him, and not because I am in love with him?"
"He is a great guy, if after three years of knowing him and he doesn't realize you do not love him, or he does realize, but he still want to go ahead and get wedded, then I think you should do the same."
"Would that be fair on my part?"
"Nothing is really fair, we don't get what we want, and people who have what we want do not even value it, someone would kill to be in this position you are now, go for your wedding Alisha, I'll see you in church."
"You are in love with him aren't you?" Alisha asked finally realizing that Anna was hurting because she was getting married
"I don't know what you are talking about."
"Yes you do, does he know?"
"Yes"
"And he didn't call off the wedding? How stupid can Alfonso be?"
"I'm pregnant"
"You have been having sex with my fiancé? Anna how can you be intimate with him, and still want me to get married to him, are you crazy?"
"I'm sorry, I, I have no excuse for such disgusting act."
"Get up, follow me to my room." Alisha said and moved out of the room pulling Anna along with her.
"Alisha, you should be dressed by now, you are running late." Adams said seeing his daughters.
"Dad, you and Mary and everyone else should go ahead; Anna and I will meet you all in church."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes dad, go now." Alisha urged him. After they were sure, they were alone with just the makeup artist. The two sisters, had an intense argument and finally got dressed, and then they rode in the car to church.
"Are you sure about this?" Anna asked Alisha
"It is the right thing to do, I hope it works." Alisha said and covered her face with the thick veil.
"You may kiss your bride." The priest said and Alfonso lifted the veil.
"Anna?" he said in shook. Has he just been joined to Anna or was this a dream?
"Anna, what is the meaning of this stunt, where is Alisha?" Adams said coming to the front, when he walked her down the aisle, he didn't notice it was Anna. How could Anna have been so stupid?
"Alisha is here, and I gave her my blessing to marry Alfonso." Alisha said coming out from the corner she stood.
"I need to speak to you in private, now." Alfonso said and pulled Alisha to an empty room.
"Are you out of your mind Alisha, why would you let Anna take your place?"
"You are the one out of your mind Alfonso, and speaking of Anna taking my place; you started that when you took her to your bed and got her pregnant."
"Pregnant? Anna is pregnant?"
"Don't act like you do not know, how could you take my sister to bed without protection, and still have the guts to get dressed and come here claiming you want to get married to me? Isn't that disgusting to want to have two sisters?"
"Alisha listen to me, I know you don't want to hear me out, but Anna was the one who came to me, I know I should have resisted, but I have also fallen in love with Anna, I know I should have called off the wedding, but I was scared I was going to hurt you, especially if I was going to leave you for your younger sister."
"It would have been better to call off the wedding than to have slept with my sister, have her pregnant, and then get married to me and consummate our wedding night, it would have been disgusting more than it already is, just go to your wife, I hope you two will be happy." Alisha said and left the room.
It was a good thing it was a private wedding, and there were only few close friends in attendance. Alisha announced that it was no mix up, and that Anna was the original bride for Alfonso, Alfonso also told them it was Anna he was in love with.
Adams didn't want to make a scene, he would be needing an explanation later, but for now, he allowed the reception go smoothly, after which Anna and Alfonso went on their honeymoon.
After the wedding, Mary stayed in the kitchen with in, while Adams and Alisha had a talk in the living room.
"You should have just called off the wedding Alisha, what they did was unreasonable and they deserved some sort of punishment and not a happy wedding." Adams said in anger after Alisha had explained to him.
"Dad, she is still my sister, and besides she is pregnant for him."
"Well she should have thought about being your sister when she seduced your fiancé, and I expected a better behavior from Alfonso."
"Dad, I will be over it soon."
"I need to sit Anna down and talk some sense to her when she gets back from the trip, she needs to know what you did for her, the contract marriage for the money for the brain surgery and all you had to sacrifice."
"Dad, I don't want to talk about Anna and not even Leonardo and the marriage, I just want to go to sleep, Mary can go along with you tonight, the new nanny resumes tomorrow."
"Are you sure? We could go along with Ina so you could be alone."
"No dad, I want to have Ina with me tonight, I'll probably sleep in her room so I can have a good sleep at least."
"Alight princess, I love you." He said and kissed her forehead before leaving with Mary.
Alisha cleaned Ina and put her to sleep, before heading for her own shower. When she was done, she dried up herself and wore her robe. She was heading to Ina's room when she heard a knock on her door, wondering who it could be; she went to check it out.
"Leonardo, what are you doing here? Please leave my husband is in." Alisha said in surprise
"You don't need to lie Alisha, I came because I know you are feeling down, I heard about what happened."
"I don't want to know how you heard, but I need you to leave, I have a guest in the house."
"I know you are alone Alisha, why not you let me come in" she allowed him come in; worried that Ina might wake up and cry for attention.
She didn't want him to find out about Ina, and she silently prayed he would be out of here before Ina woke up.
"What do you want Leo?"
"I want you."
"Are you crazy? Your wedding is in few days."
"I don't care about that, Alisha I love you, tell me you love me too and I will call of the wedding, and we can go anywhere you want."
It sounded strange to Alisha that Leonardo admitted he loved her, and was willing to call off his wedding to Ema.
"What if I got married today? Why didn't you tell me you love me before now? It's too late Leonardo, please leave I have a guest." Alisha replied with a frown
Leonardo moved and started going up the stairs.
"Where are you going to?" she asked in panic, going after him to stop him so he would not see Alisha
"I am going to see who else is in this house" he said with a confidence that showed he was determined to know who else was in the house. Alisha's pulse raced as she thought of a way to get him out of the house without seeing Ina.
