Since noon, Louie had been calculating how to explain the morning incident to Bella and Arabella. He couldn't afford to let them misunderstand his actions in the office, especially when dealing with two beautiful women. Louie didn't want to leave a bad impression on them.
After half the afternoon had passed, just before closing time, Louie walked out of his office. He took a stroll through the marketing department's two open halls, pretending to inspect. Then, he returned to Arabella's desk. Arabella was on the phone, inquiring with the purchasing department of a conglomerate about potential large-scale projects and mechanical requirements.
Louie didn't interrupt Arabella but instead picked up a plush teddy bear placed on the top right corner of her desk—the one Arabella cherished the most.
While talking on the phone, Arabella watched Louie separate the small paws of her beloved teddy bear. Even though she felt a pang in her heart, she couldn't bring herself to say anything.
After the call, Arabella flashed Louie a radiant smile and asked, "Supervisor, isn't my teddy bear cute?"
"Hmm, not bad. Where did you buy it?" Louie tugged at the bear's ears again, causing Arabella to feel a slight tug at her heart. The way Louie was handling the bear, she feared it might be damaged. Arabella took the bear from Louie and said, "I bought it at the plush toy store on Beijing Road. This teddy bear is my favorite."
Seeing Arabella's reaction, Louie couldn't help but find it amusing. He thought, "This girl is afraid I'll ruin her teddy bear, but she doesn't dare to say it out loud." Instead of dwelling on this, Louie lowered his voice and asked, "Arabella, it's almost quitting time. Where shall we go for fun?"
Arabella hadn't anticipated that Louie would bring this up. Glancing at her watch, it was already half-past four, and she just remembered they had plans to go out tonight. Although Arabella had intended to go out with Louie, she wondered if Bella would join them. After all, there was no clear confirmation from Bella during the morning encounter in Louie's office.
Hesitatingly, Arabella said, "I'm okay with it, but I'm not sure about Bella."
Louie was pleased to hear Arabella say this. He blinked and said, "Arabella, you go ask Bella. You know her better. If I ask, she'll definitely refuse. But you, you might just get her to agree. There's always been tension between Bella and me. I wanted to use tonight to ease the tension among us; after all, we're colleagues, and there's no need to make things so tense. Besides, it'll be more fun if we all go out together. What do you think?"
Arabella, stirred by Louie's encouragement, felt it made sense. Without overthinking, she agreed. Louie was delighted to hear Arabella's positive response, thinking he could bring two beautiful women with him tonight. Even if Bella didn't join, at least Arabella would be there.
After Arabella agreed, she tidied up the files on her desk. Seeing Bella getting up and heading towards the restroom, Arabella quickly followed.
"Bella, let's go out together tonight," Arabella said to Bella in the women's restroom.
Bella turned on the tap, rinsed her hands covered in soap, and listened to Arabella. Thinking back to the scene she witnessed in Louie's office this morning, she felt a hint of disdain for Louie. "Arabella, even if we go out, it won't be with Louie. That guy is a playboy, and who knows what he's scheming. Be careful not to get taken advantage of."
Arabella, with an innocent expression, shook her head repeatedly. "Supervisor wouldn't do that. I think he's really nice."
"Hmph, nice my foot. If he takes advantage of you, don't come crying to me." Bella snorted. "But I guess we can go out together. I want to see what tricks he has up his sleeve."
Bella was worried that Arabella might end up in a hotel with Louie. Little did she know that if Louie had wanted to play around with Arabella, he would have done so long ago. Bella misunderstood Arabella's feelings—Arabella admired Louie for his masculine charm, and if Louie said a word, Arabella would willingly give herself to him. Bella, not understanding Arabella's thoughts, continued, "If he takes advantage of you, you won't even be able to cry. I think it's best if we don't go."
"But I've already promised the supervisor." Arabella became anxious and spoke hurriedly. "Bella, please trust me. I believe the supervisor is not that kind of person."
"Little fool, how could you agree to him?" Bella had just taken her hands out of the sink, placed them under the hand dryer, and heard Arabella's words. Frowning, she was concerned for Arabella. "Arabella, you silly girl. If I don't go with you tonight, Louie will probably eat you alive. Fine, I'll go with you two. I want to see what tricks he's planning."

Bella laughed and playfully pinched Arabella's small nose. "You little fool, I really can't figure out how you grew up."
The two of them walked out of the restroom and saw that some people in the marketing department were already packing up. Barton and Brown were figuring out where to go tonight. Seeing Arabella and Bella together, Barton greeted them from afar, "Hey, two beautiful ladies, we're planning to go to a bar tonight. Want to join?"
"No, we already have plans for tonight," Arabella sweetly replied.
"Who took away our business?" Barton muttered.
Ignoring Barton, Bella went straight back to her desk to gather her belongings.
After Arabella packed up her things, she approached Bella with her small bag and asked, "Bella, where should we go tonight?"
"Hmph, since someone is treating us, let's choose a place we haven't been to before," Bella suggested. In her mind, she already had a place in mind—the BMW Bar. This bar was a high-end establishment owned by Sradarc, known for its exorbitant prices. Bella was aware of this place because she had a male friend working there as a bartender. Determined to make Louie pay, she decided to go there tonight and make him regret messing with them.
Louie walked out of his office and saw Bella and Arabella together. He approached them with a smile, asking, "Ladies, have you decided what we're doing tonight?"
"We're going to BMW Bar," Bella declared without hesitation. "We've discussed it. We won't need a proper dinner; just some snacks at the bar will do. Supervisor, I hope you won't be stingy with money."
"This girl is clearly provoking me." Louie understood Bella's intentions when she mentioned that bar. She was planning to take advantage of the situation and embarrass him, making him feel awkward. Louie found it amusing. If the only way to embarrass him was through expensive consumption at a high-end bar, then he recalled how he once rented an entire French restaurant on the Champs-Élysées. If Bella thought a high-end bar would make him uncomfortable, he might as well declare bankruptcy and end his life?
"Alright, let's go to that BMW Bar." Louie didn't even furrow his brows, readily agreeing. This time, Bella would be left puzzled. She thought, "Doesn't this guy know that the BMW Bar is an upscale place?"
