Chapter 14 FOURTEEN
"What did he say?" Janice uttered these words as she placed the tray on the table. Brienne sat on the chair in front of her and put her tray down.
"He was angry," Brienne said. "I had to beg him not to intervene anymore because he was about to march into our department," she added, and remembering Raven's angry face made her shiver. His piercing blue eyes were ready to suck the soul out of the body of anyone who stared at him.
"He had every right," Janice said. "He's involved in the gossip too," she added, glaring at the crowd staring at them.
"Nice..."
"I'm not doing anything," Janice said and raised her hand. "They really annoy me, gosh," she added.
"Yeah, me too," Brienne whispered. She's uncomfortable with the way people made it obvious that they were talking about her and Raven. Brienne heaved a sigh and began eating her food, but after few spoonfuls, she dropped the spoon.
"What? You don't like that food?" Janice asked when she saw Brienne start cleaning her plate. Brienne nodded her head.
"I don't like the smell," she said and scrunched her nose.
"But I remembered that you liked it the last time. You kept complimenting it," Janice said. Brienne felt her heart beat faster and forced a smile.
"Maybe there's something in it today," she said and shrugged her shoulders. Janice eyed her and nodded her head. "Let's just go after you eat," she added.
Brienne and Janice went back to work in the department. Brienne sat on her swivel chair and grabbed the mouse when her phone beeped. She pulled it out of her pocket and saw Raven's name. Suddenly, she felt her stomach grumble.
"Baby, I'll see you later. Don't leave until I arrive, okay?"
Brienne swiped to respond, "Once you buy me pickles, a burger, and peanut butter, I will." Brienne put her phone down, but the thought of food made her mouth almost water.
Brienne's phone beeped once again, and she eagerly read the content of Raven's message to her.
"Okay, baby. What else do you want? I will buy it for you." Brienne couldn't help but smile, and her hand touched her belly.
"That's your dad right there," she whispered. Brienne typed her reply and sent it to Raven. She turned her phone to silent and went back to work. Hours later, she finished everything and stood up. Brienne looked around to find their manager, and she saw her coworkers looking at her. She heaved a sigh and walked to the manager's office. She knocked on the glass door and went inside, putting the envelope on the table.
"Good afternoon, sir. I just finished the financial statements," Brienne said. Kit looked at her and thanked her. Brienne simply nodded and exited his office. As the day neared its end, Brienne started to clean her space and put her things back in the bag. She waited for the clock to ring, and when it did, she grabbed her bag and went to Janice's table.
"I'll be going first, Nice," Brienne said. "Thank you for today," she added. Janice simply smiled at her.
"Go, I'll be finishing this first," Janice replied. Brienne left their department and took the elevator she often uses. She declined to use the elevator that her co-workers were using. When Brienne was on the ground floor, she hurriedly went out of the building and crossed the road. She took her phone out and messaged Raven.
Brienne waited for him in the cafe, and when she saw Raven's car, she immediately went out and opened the door.
Raven exclaimed, "You didn't even wait for me to open the door for you, baby." Brienne put her seatbelt on and looked at him.
"Let's just go," Brienne said. Raven gave a sigh and started his car.
"Wait, what about the food?" Brienne interrupted Raven by grabbing his arm. She pouted when she saw the direction Raven was driving, which leads to her apartment.
"I already bought it, baby," Raven said. "It's in the back. You couldn't see it because you were in a hurry," he added. Brienne removed her hand and looked at the backseat, where she saw the paper bag.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"Anything for you, baby," Raven said. Raven parked his car in front of the building where Brienne was staying and went out. He hurriedly walked to Brienne's side and opened the door for her. He then went to the backseat and grabbed the food Brienne asked of him. Raven held Brienne's hand, which surprised her, but she let him be.
After removing the sign, they entered the building and went straight to the working elevator. Raven pressed the floor where Brienne was located and intertwined their fingers. The gesture made Brienne feel butterflies in her stomach. When the elevator dings, Raven gently pulls her hand, and they go out. Brienne unlocked her apartment, and they went inside.
Raven placed the paper bag on the table and hugged Brienne from behind.
"I miss you," he said.
"What? We've seen each other earlier," Brienne said, chuckling.
"Yeah, but I still miss you and this," he said, kissing Brienne's neck down to her shoulder blade. Brienne bit her bottom lips and turned around, seeing Raven's intense gaze.
"Baby," Raven said. Brienne took the liberty of grabbing Raven's neck, tiptoeing, and kissing him on the lips.
"Fck," Raven cursed and lifted Brienne, and Brienne wrapped her legs around Raven's waist. Raven pinned her against the wall and aggressively tore her blouse.
"Raven!" Brienne yelled, horrified at what he did, but Raven only smiled.
"I'll buy you ten pieces of those blouses, baby," he said and kissed her again. Brienne was powerless to stop Raven from ruining her clothes, so she simply returned the kiss. Raven kissed her jaw down to her neck. Brienne moaned and caressed Raven's hair. Raven then proceeded to gently bite her chest while simultaneously sucking her tits.

"What are you doing?" Brienne asked when Raven grabbed her legs. "Raven, no!" she added, trying to stop Raven, but he wouldn't budge.
"It's okay, baby," Raven said. Brienne knew what Raven was about to do, and it embarrassed her; although she washed herself, it was still not right to do it. However, Raven interrupted her thoughts by licking her pussy. Brienne gasped and writhed in the bed.

"Don't worry about me, baby. I can take care of myself. I will take you when we replace this creaking bed or when you move into my house," he said and grinned. Brienne rolled her eyes and stood up, not minding that she's naked. She went to the cabinet and grabbed a clean set of clothes. Raven whistled at the sight, but Brienne brushed it off while her heart beat faster. What a night!
