Chapter 103
Chapter 103
Calista's pov
"Mommy! Mommy!!"
All of the pain that it had been feeling in this place felt like it had all disappeared when I saw my two little treasures stepping down from the car that they had come down from.
I hugged them both till they had to complain to let them go and I did so and my son placed his hand on my cheek and that was when I saw the tears that he had taken from my cheeks.
"Mommy, why are you crying?"
My daughter asked and I laughed, whipping off the rest with the back of my hand.
"I'm just so happy that I'm crying…I've missed you so much…" I said to them but I knew that it was more than that , I almost felt like someone that was being released from a prison for a while.
"What about me? Has nobody missed Daddy?"
I looked back to see Grey, right this was the condition the only way I could see the kids was if he was hovering over me like a darn helicopter.
"Daddy!!" They yelled as they ran towards him and they picked them up as if they were both feathers, I felt my heart flutter.
I shouldn't have let not do that especially since he hated me now and this was all an act for the kids right now.
But it was only for a little while longer I could meet up with it even though I knew that it would make him hurt me even more painful after remembering how he used to treat me.
"Mommy, join the hug…" my daughter called out and my heart went up to my throat.
"Sweetheart, maybe mommy doesn't want hugs…" Grey said and I felt my heart crack a little bit the way he said that as if hugging me would be some kind of disgusting thing that he would rather crawl off his skin than do that.
I looked at my daughter and I tried to tell her that I didn't want the hug.
"Are you and Daddy fighting?" My son finally said.
My heart froze up.
"No no we aren't fighting…" I told them and so I looked at Grey and he signaled me to approach him and he looked like he was faking his smile so hard right now and I guess that I could not even blame him too much since he despised me so much right now doing this must be hard for him.
But I guess we just had to get this over with before we blew off the act before it could even start.
So I finally walked over and he held out his hand like a snake that wanted to wrap around its victim and choke it to death and I didn't have any other choice than to allow myself to be swallowed up by it.
And just like that I was covered in his warmth and his scent and it was really nice to smell indeed.
But it felt far too short until it ended and for a split second it felt as though his hand had lingered on my waist and then it was gone as if I was a sick creature that he wanted to keep his hands away from and so I was now holding the hands of my kids as we walked in.
They told me mostly about their time with Grandpa and then they told me that he missed me a lot, they said that I should see him too.
"Your mother might be too busy right now to see Grandpa…" I sighed as Grey said that for someone that couldn't stand the fact that he had to hug me.
"What am I busy doing?" I asked him and he gave me a blank look and then a dry laugh
"Ah dear you're so funny…" he said and I could see the warning look in his eyes
Well I was glad that at least he was not using his aggression against me on my kids. I thought that he might look at them differently and luckily that was not the case that had been given.
I thought that the visit was going to be mostly good but instead of it going that way something happened that took the whole thing off its tracks.
My husband's mother showed up.
The kids were so innocent, when they saw her and Grey reflexively called her they turned around to greet her she swung her designer bag at them and it almost hit my older twin as well.
I snapped as I sprinted from where I sat and I ran over to her pulling my kids and yelling at her.
"What do you think you are doing with my kids? They just wanted to greet you!"
She hissed at me.
"You have a lot of audacity to talk to me like that…!"
She turned to Grey.
"Please make sure to keep this b"tch and her illegitimate brats…" I was going to slap her for that.
Yes, they could mock me and make me miserable but she had no right to call my kids that when they were right there.
Grey held my hand , I looked at him and my blood was boiling.
"Let me go!" I hissed at him.
He tightened his grip on my wrist and it felt like it was going to fall right off.
"Go out…"
He said to me,
Then he bent down to the shocked kids.
"I'll see you guys again…I have to talk with Grandma…"
I took my kids out after that and the chauffeur that he had gotten to bring them from their Grandpa's was still there, I gave my kids something that I didn't want their father to see.
"Mommy your wrist…!"
My son said, looking at my wound and I immediately put it away so that he would not see it because I knew that it was something that I don't want them to see and I closed the door of the car.
They didn't need to know. They don't have to see the pain the Mommy is passing through. I don't want that for my kids.
