Chapter 21

~Hector Salvatore~

I had a meeting with Vlad because I wanted to acquire a property. But he wasn’t at the company and I do not trust any of his workers to be in charge of it.

I had waited at his company for a while and Vlad was not coming, he wasn’t taking any of the calls for his secretary and I had no choice but to come to his house.

He was just an Alpha that was so full of himself and he thinks he can crush on anyone and keep everyone on his feet. What I had not excepted was to find my mate at his house.

The most beautiful lady I have ever seen, and when she turned and stared at me. I got lost in her eyes and her mesmerized smells.

“Mate?” The word fall out of my mouth and not even I could stop it.

My wolf was dancing in the excitement in me that I had found our soulmate.

I was never going to let go of her.

I have finally found my mate in the house of someone that I had least expected of me.

“You should leave, Hector.” Vlad glared at me. I ignored him and stepped further into the house.

“I just got here.”

He turned and stared at her, his gaze leaving my face for a few moments.

“Ain’t you going to your room? Go now.”

She nodded obediently at me, though her eyes were scanning my face for unseen answers. I watched her hurry through the stairs until she was out of sight and I didn’t see her anymore.

“Why are you here?” Vlad growled and my eyes darted to him with a teasing smile.

“I came for business but then I found something else in your house.”

“You found nothing in my house, you hear me!” He roared furiously and marched down to me, and in the next second, he was right in front of me and held me by the collar roughly.

“I don’t fucking know what you’re up to but it ain’t gonna be right here.” His eyes were blazing with hate. I held his hands on my collar and gently take them off.

“I had no idea of what you’re talking about, I’m not the moon goddess who decided to grant me a mate, I found her in your house. Alpha Vlad.” I spat with my teeth gritted together.

He run his hands off his hair aggressively and came back to me.

“She’s not your mate!”

“That’s not for you to say, you saw how she stared at me. She knew that I was her mate. I could tell it and the moon goddess won’t fucking lie!”

“Fuck, the moon goddess!” He yelled.

“What makes you think the moon goddess has a right to decide our fate!”

I don’t care why Vlad was acting this way, I had forgotten about the reason that I was here and I solely wanted to see my mate.

“Get out, Hector. I had no business with you.”

“I’m not gonna leave until she comes out, I want to talk to her. I want to have a word with her, and if she not gonna come out I won’t move an inch from here.” I stated firmly. I know he was an Alpha and was quite strong but I was ready to challenge him being the son of a Beta and an Omega. I wasn’t entirely a weak wolf.

I could stand a chance to challenge him if he dares me.

“You don’t want me to drag you out, do you? You should save yourself some respect and leave as quietly as you can.” He stepped forward towards me, standing a few inches taller than me.

“I’m only asking for you to let me talk to her and I’m gonna leave. I can’t believe you’re gonna deprive me of seeing her.” I muttered calmly, knowing fully well that raising my voice on the Alpha would only make things worse and more difficult for me.

“I’ll talk to him.” She appeared from behind him, her voice was almost toneless.

Was I the only one that was getting excited over the mate bond?

“Samara,” Vlad called her softly and stepped away from me, her eyes flickered at him and she rested them on me.

“You want to talk to me, sure. You shouldn’t make a fuss about it, lead the way.”

Damn.

I liked her already.

I lead her out of the house and did not glance twitch at Vlad as she stepped out of the house. I opened the door car while she get in and drove to one of my restaurants in the pack.

I parked the car and came out and she followed me quietly.

I draw out a chair for her to seat, and she muttered a thank you. I sat down opposite her and placed my hands on the table.

“Do you need anything, I can get you anything you want?” I cornered one of the waiters to come with an eye but when she shook her head, I gave him a signal with my hand to stop coming.

“I won’t be needing anything. You wanted to talk to me, here I am.”

I leaned closer to her.

“Is there a reason you’re staying with Vlad?”

“Alpha Vlad.” She corrected.

“Is just us here there’s no need to address him that way.”

“Still doesn’t stop him from being Alpha of the pack.” She counted and I smiled agreeing with her.

“So tell me, why haven’t seen you in the pack? You ain’t from here are you?”

If she was from the pack, there would be no way I wouldn’t have met her somewhere. This face I haven’t seen before in the pack and if I hadn’t gone to meet Vlad.

I would never have seen her either.

“I don’t live here. I have a life somewhere else.”

“What do you do?”

“I’m a doctor.”

“Impressed.” I grinned crazily, I was so into her and there would be no stopping me from having her.

“And a mother of triplets.”

My jaw slacked, a mother of triplets?!

“You’re my second chance mate.” She stated without any emotions on her face and I couldn’t read the emotions she had on her face.

Those that mean her mate rejected her or he died?

She looked so young to be a mother. I would have argued she was twenty if I didn’t know.

“The reason I’m in this pack is because of my sons, once I found them I’m gonna leave. So you better reject me as your mate. I had no intentions of going through what I went through at first.”

What makes her think that I’m gonna reject her, I had no plans to. Her children were mine too.

But wait... she said once she found them.

“Your children did something happen to them?”!

“They got kidnapped. That’s why I came to the pack to ask for help from your Alpha and find my children. That’s the only reason I’m here. I’m saying you’re gonna be wasting your time if you think this mate thing between us is gonna work.”

“It’s gonna work and I’m not gonna give up on you mate.” She cringe when I called her mate.

“Your children I’m going to help you find them. You should know I have a lot of influence in the pack and quicker information.”

Her eyes lit up when I said that, and I clasped my hands over hers.

“Trust me. I won’t make to regret it.” I gave her one of my best smiles, she smiled right back at me.

“So you know, I won’t reject you as my mate and your kids. I’m sure they are gonna love me.”

She laughed at my words and nodded her head at me.

I didn’t ask about their father, because it seems she never wanted to talk about him. Then I would be planning to have her children as mine and take care of them.

“So what would you like to eat? I won’t take no for an answer this time. We have everything, place an order.” I stood up from my chair and placed a hand over my stomach.

“Anything you want, I’m gonna get it.” I bowed.

“Don’t do that.” She laughed with a hand over her mouth.

“I want to serve you today.”

“I’ll be honored, Mr. Hector.”

I’ve found her and this beautiful lady. Samara was mine.
