Chapter 121

~ Damen (POV) ~

“Let’s go… it’s almost time. '' I looked at Logan and Emres as I said that. They nodded at me and followed me. Before I walked out of the castle, I turned and looked at Demir who was in Karina’s arms. He just simply giggled looking at me, I couldn’t help but smile seeing his cuteness. I should be fucking grateful to Asteria because she had given me a fucking cute son. Raising my hand I waved at him.

Then he watched me for a while and waved his little hand making my heart filled with love and affection for my little son. Turning around, I looked at Logan and sighed before walking towards the forest. I looked up at the sky and saw it was thundering. Shifting into my wolf, I ran as fast as I could knowing that it must be Asteria. My wolf kept looking up at the sky as I saw dangerous lightning.

I was drenched with rain as the teardrops fell down furiously. It was her, and I knew this rain. Running as fast as I could, I looked back as I saw my men were following me. I wanted to go there, I wanted to see her. I don’t know what made her turn into this point. I calmed myself down not wanting to lose my patience. I had more to run, I just had to take more time to reach her.

Finally, after almost an hour, I reached Solasta. Running towards the forest, I shifted into my human form as Logan came and covered me with a long black coat. Buttoning it, I ran towards the place where I heard sounds. Then my heart stopped, I watched Asteria who was hugging Lora while crying. Lora? No way!

“No… no… ugh” I looked back at Emres who just acted as if he had gone insane. Pushing me away, he ran towards Asteria before pulling Lora to his arms. Is he? Is he Lora’s mate? My heart sees the way he tried to wake Lora up. Moving my eyes away from him, I looked at Asteria who just got up from the ground and looked at me.

Her eyes were glowing, her eyes were just the same eyes that I saw years ago on that rainy day. Her eyes were just simply similar to the sky. She watched me for a while and tears rolled down from her eyes. She clenched her jaws and looked at Lora again before moving her eyes and looked at the whole battlefield.

“Bastard!” she screamed as she raised her hand and caught a lightning before flashing towards the demon-like man who was standing away from her. My wolf let out a growl seeing him, it was Kalon. Isn’t it? I couldn’t believe Asteria’s power as she fought with Kalon. She was burning with fury.

“She’s gone!” hearing Logan’s broken voice, I looked back at him. His eyes were filled with tears as he watched Emres who was crying while hugging Lora’s body. She’s gone? If I had come here earlier…. She would have been still alive. Lowering my head, I sighed. It really hurts to believe that one of the closest ones to us was gone. Clenching my jaws, I looked at Kalon and Asteria but soon, my heart tightened seeing there were so many vampires coming to attack her. My heart turned cold and I watched them for a while. I’m not gonna let anything happen to her.

“Protect her.” I said as Logan looked at me and nodded with a sorrow filled face. Then shifting into his wolf, he ran towards the vampires who were charging towards Asteria. Soon a huge battle started. Seeing them fighting, I walked towards Emres and looked at him who was hugging Lora’s already pale body.

“Let her go now. You didn’t value her when she was alive so what’s the meaning of hugging her and crying now?” He raised his head and looked at me with tear-filled eyes before clenching his jaws and placing Lora on the ground and getting up from the floor. Then, he shifted into his wolf and ran towards where the battle was happening.

After he left, I looked at Asteria who was still fighting furiously. My wolf growled and I picked up the sword on the ground. It was Asteria’s father’s sword. Dragging the sword on the ground, I walked towards them. Noticing that I was coming, Kalon looked at me and growled. I smirked seeing him. Dare to touch my woman? I have always warned him. She was mine and not his.

“Having a good time with my woman?” I asked him as he watched me with furious eyes. I stopped in front of him and next to Asteria. Lowering my eyes, I looked at her as I saw the cut marks and wounds on her body. My wolf let out a furious growl seeing those wounds. Asteria raised her head and looked at me.

“Why are you here?” Her words stunned me. Why is she asking me that? I fucking came here for her! I watched her for a while and ignored her before pushing her away and shifting into my wolf. Then my wolf let out a furious growl at Kalon as he prepared for a great battle. Gazing at me for a while, he sharpened his nails before gritting his teeth.

I would fucking kill him! Without waiting for anything, my wolf pounded into him before piercing his sharp teeth deep into Kalon’s neck. A painful groan escaped from Kalon and he roared before grabbing my wolf by his fur and throwing him away. But my wolf simply shifted back into a black, huge hyena before running behind him and attacking Kalon’s back. Biting Kalon’s back furiously, he let out a growl.

‘Well done Derek’ I chuckled. After a long time, I was talking to him. He was always silent and he didn’t talk to me like before. After that demon came into my body, I got special abilities and those abilities improved with the vampire princess’s blood. Now I can fucking turn into few more strong animals, including a dragon.

Even though I still haven’t tried to be a dragon, I have really played with my hyena and my hellhound and they were just so fucking amazing. I was just simply glad because I became special and so fucking strong with my demon. He left me but his rare abilities are still there with me.

‘Damen?’ I heard Asteria’s shocked voice inside of my mind. Fuck! She just mind linked me. After so fucking years. I felt fucking happy to hear her sweat voice inside of my brain. But without replying to her, I kept attacking him. Kalon couldn’t do anything because of the speed my hyena used to bite him.

Crying from pain, he finally managed to get me off of his back. Then instead of coming to attack me, he just simply strode towards Asteria making my heart go numb. Fuck no! Running after him, I shifted into my hellhound before covering Asteria with my body. Asteria was taken back with lava that was traveling through my body.

It was a heavy rain but the fire in my body didn’t fade away for a second. I just had it in my body. Seeing the shocked expression of Kalon, I felt so fucking happy. Of course he should be shocked because his sister’s blood cured me. He growled angrily. I think he fucking felt it; I was strong because I killed the demon with her sister’s blood.

“Gianna’s blood?” he asked with an angry voice. How can I talk to him? And I just simply didn’t want to talk to him. All I wanted to do was fucking kill him and finish this goddamn war. I just wanted to go to Demir with Asteria as soon as possible, he must be waiting.

“Look back Kalon... Your men are already dead. Only a few of them remain. Fucking stop fighting!” Asteria said emotionlessly looking at him. Then Kalon shifted back to his human form and watched Asteria’s face before shaking his head.

“I’m taking you with me tonight after killing him” gearing him, I lost my sanity. Why does he think that killing me is so fucking easy and when Asteria is here to heal me every time I got a wound?
