LYCAN LEO'S POV
The moon shone brightly in the sky, illuminating the dark forest below. I stood there, my mind consumed with anger and hatred. Even at her point of death, she still had the audacity to challenge me. I could feel the power coursing through my veins, my wolf howling with fury.
"I will ruthlessly deal with her," I said to myself. My mate lay there, weak and defenseless, but I couldn't bring myself to feel any pity for her. I wondered why someone like her could be my mate in the first place. She wasn't a wolf, and this pack needed a strong Luna, not someone who was weak like her.
Her plus size made me hate her at first sight. I could barely stand to look at her, let alone touch her. But when I found out we were mates, I decided not to kill her. I didn't want to offend the moon goddess and risk her wrath.
But accepting her as my mate was out of the question. I would make sure she suffered and maybe even died on her own. I couldn't marry an ordinary human, and she would never be the Luna of this great pack.
I went to the moon goddess and asked her why she had chosen that bastard as my mate. But she simply told me to accept it and that it was a must.
"But I have someone who I love already," I pleaded with her. "The elders have already said we should get married, and she will become my Luna. Why are you now turning it to someone else?"
The moon goddess remained silent, her face stoic and unmoving. I could feel the weight of her disapproval pressing down on me, and I knew that I had to accept my fate.
As the days went by, I found myself growing more and more resentful of my mate. I would push her away and ignore her, hoping that she would leave on her own. But she never did.
I went to the prison she was because the moon goddess has ordered that she should be removed from the prison .
As I got there , she was already weak looking like someone who wants to die now but I didn't care .
"Why do you love destroying people,do you derive any joy from it ?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know I'm not what you wanted, and I will never be ." Seems like she also has realised that we are mates .
I hesitated, unsure of how to answer. My wolf growled inside me, reminding me of all the reasons why I couldn't accept her. But then I remembered the moon goddess's words.
As the alpha of the pack, I had never felt such frustration and annoyance in my entire life. The thought of having her as my mate made my skin crawl, and the mere sight of her made my stomach turn. But fate had other plans, and the moon goddess had declared her to be my fated mate.
I ordered my warriors to release her and take her to my sisters so that they could clean her up. However, as they led her away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disdain. She was nothing more than a nonliving thing to me, someone who held no value or significance.
Despite my reservations, I shared the news with my sisters and my beta. To my surprise, they burst into laughter. The idea of me accepting her as my mate was absurd, and they made no effort to hide their amusement.
Their reaction only fueled my anger. I refused to accept her, and I made that clear to them. But as they chatted with her and got to know her, I couldn't help but feel a sense of jealousy. If they liked her, they might even marry her, and I couldn't bear the thought.
As they moved slowly with her, every step they took felt like a dagger to my heart. I was torn between my loyalty to the pack and my desire to defy the moon goddess. I longed to behead her, to rid myself of this curse that fate had bestowed upon me.
I was consumed by my anger and frustration, and the only solution I could think of was to attack her pack again. If I killed them all, I would never have to deal with such cursed people again.
But as I watched her walk away, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to her than meets the eye. Despite my initial revulsion, I found myself drawn to her, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was a reason the moon goddess had chosen her to be my mate.
Perhaps there was more to her than I had initially assumed. And maybe, just maybe, I could learn to accept her and see her for the person she truly was.
" Never, why will I be imagining such things when I have someone who is far better than this big for nothing," I cautioned myself.
I stood there, watching the pack doctor approach me. Her beauty was almost blinding, and her aura exuded strength and vibrance. She was the kind of woman that any man would want by his side - and I was no exception. As she drew closer, I couldn't help but think that she would make the perfect Luna for me. Not like that stinky, plus-sized Gigi that I had to call her to check on.
"Gigi," she had said her name was. I had never heard of her before, but I didn't care. All I wanted was for the doctor to give her a proper check-up and make sure that she wasn't going to infect anyone in my pack.
"Please," I had pleaded with her. "Just do a proper check on her. I don't want any unnecessary problems in my pack." The doctor had nodded in agreement, smiling at me. Her smile made my heart skip a beat, and I knew that I was in trouble.
"I'm coming for you," she had said in a sultry voice, and I couldn't help but smile uncontrollably. I knew that I was in deep trouble - but I didn't care. I wanted her, and I was willing to do whatever it takes to have her by my side.
As she left, the case of Gigi ran back to my mind. I couldn't help but feel irritated - I didn't want to be bothered with anything that was useless. I needed to focus on my pack and my new obsession - the pack doctor.
I called my beta to discuss Gigi's case and to get his opinion on the matter. I needed to know what he thought about the situation and what he thought the best course of action would be. I was determined to do whatever it takes to make sure that my pack was safe and secure - even if it meant getting rid of someone like Gigi.
As I waited for my beta's response, my mind wandered back to the pack doctor. I couldn't wait to see her again - to feel her presence, to smell her scent, to touch her skin. I knew that I was in love - and I was willing to do whatever it takes to make her mine.
The pack doctor had become my new obsession - and I couldn't wait to see where this new adventure would take me.
"Brandon," I called out to my beta, my second-in-command, and he promptly answered. I was feeling conflicted and needed to confide in someone. As the Lycan of the pack, it was difficult for me to share my vulnerabilities with anyone, but Brandon had been my friend since we were pups, and I trusted him.
"What do you think about that girl?" I asked him in a gentle voice. I was referring to the girl who had been chosen by the moon goddess to be my mate, the one who was currently residing in our pack.
"Master, I think she hasn't done anything wrong for now, just that she is too big and weak to be the Luna of this pack," Brandon replied. His words were like a dagger to my heart, but I didn't let him finish before I interrupted him.
"Exactly my point. I don't know what the moon goddess has seen in her that made her say she is my mate. This is annoying, and I feel betrayed," I said to Brandon, my voice laced with bitterness and anger.
"But let's just give her a little time to see what she can do, sir," Brandon said again, trying to reason with me, but I wasn't buying that at all.
"Give her what time? The one she's already had? I will make her life miserable in this pack unless she dies," I said in a very angry tone. My words were harsh, but I couldn't help it. I was frustrated and felt like I had been dealt a bad hand by the moon goddess.
As I moved with that anger inside, I couldn't help but think about everything that had led me to this point. Being a lycan was supposed to be an honour, but it had become a burden. I didn't want a mate who was weak and unable to handle the demands of the pack. I wanted someone strong and capable, someone who could stand by my side and help me lead our people. But the moon goddess never wants to listen to me .
And I will end everything now , let the moon goddess do whatever she wants.
