Sink

My eyes widened in shock at his words, but a second later, I giggled. Andrius had a way with words. I could lose an argument if it ended with his lips on my pussy because is that really a loss? So I accepted my fate. What was I even supposed to say to that? Yes, please? Let’s skip the questioning and get right to the sex? As tempting as that may be, I’d be giving in to his charms. As hard as it was to fight his charms instead of letting my legs fall open for him, I cross my legs and lean back.

“How did you know I was at Levi’s? Scratch that. How do you know him?”

“What makes you think I know the blood sucker?” Andrius answered my question with one of his own. He was teasing me, no, mocking me.

“Because you waltzed into his bedroom and he didn’t even blink. Because you both were in me and neither of you questioned it. And I don’t appreciate you dodging my question when you said you’d answer any one I had. So pay up,” I huffed. Andrius lifted his hands in front of him as if in surrender.

“Okay, okay. I wasn’t trying to play games with you. I met the blood sucker at an underground club.”

I blinked. Then blinked again.

“… That still doesn’t explain how you guys got close enough to be fine with sharing a woman. Unless that’s what you’re normally into. He’s also a vampire. Our kind is kind of at war, but we’ve been at odds since long before I was born.” I folded my arms in front of my chest and waited.

“You could say I’m a rare man…” he trailed off, giving me a look.

“Andrius.”

“Seriously? I’m not so closed minded that I would hate all vampires just because.”

“I mean… you do call him blood sucker,” I pointed out.

“It’s a pet name,” he said with a shrug.

“It’s kind of an insult,” I laughed.

“And maybe that’s my thing. Yes, they’re our natural born enemy, but I don’t have a problem with them. Unless they’re attacking my pack, starting a fight, or anywhere near my territory, then I have no issue with them. Anyway, I visit other territories. I like to go out. And most places I visit aren’t as vigilant as I am with security. Knowing who comes in and out of their pack apparently isn’t a priority.”

Remembering the wall, I nodded. “That makes sense. We’d have less attacks, even rogue ones, if everyone had a wall like yours.”

“Precisely. One of those packs, obviously, is Bleeding Moon. I like to fly below the radar. So when I’m in town on meetings, I like to go out. Be it good food or drinks, as soon as official business is taken care of, I’m enjoying myself. One night, I was at Club Amnesia.”

Club Amnesia was only the #1 place to be when the sun set. I’ve never been, but I hear there’s a year long wait list to get a table. I only know this because of Liz. She uses it for her Mythinder dates.

“How long ago was this?” I asked.

“Hm… about six months ago. I was drinking when a fight broke out. Four men surrounded one. He sat at the end of the bar with a drink in his hand. He didn’t seem to care about them. One wolf against four? He looked stupid. I expected him to die. It wasn’t until one man reached for him. I blinked and his hand was missing. Blood gushed from the stub and I knew he wasn’t the one at a disadvantage.”

“Levi,” I breathed. Andrius smiled as he continued.

“The others were as wise as the first one. They rushed him and a bloodbath ensued. In a flash, he was standing, and the men littered the ground. He threw the last guy down and when he raised his gaze to mine, I was met with red eyes. A vampire. He was… beautiful. Not something I normally think when I look at a man.”

“I mean… he is beautiful. You’d be blind if you didn’t think so. Well, go on. What happened next?” I straightened my spine and leaned forward. Feeling giddy as I imagined their first meeting.

“I was stuck. He’d just killed some of our kind, but they attacked him first. It was self defense. And at no point did he drink from them.”

“I doubt he would. They might have had something.” I wrinkled my nose in disgust.

“Exactly. Since he wasn’t doing what vampires are known to do, I didn’t feel the need to go after him.”

“Thank the Moon Goddess,” I breathed.

“I felt things I’ve never felt with the same sex. I wanted him. I’d been watching him from where I was seated at the bar. The club had cleared out, and it was just us left. I knew word would reach the higher ups and if we didn’t get out of there quickly, we’d be swarmed. I got up and walked over to where he stood. Grabbing his drink from his hand—”

“He was still holding his drink?” I asked in shock and a little bit of awe.

“Yes, he sure was,” Andrius laughed.

“That’s so hot,” I whispered.

“It was. I grabbed his drink, lifted it to my lips—gin and tonic. I can still taste it on my tongue—threw my head back, and finished the rest of it. When I lowered my chin, an inferno waited for me.”

I asked. Andrius reached out and wrapped his hand around mine.

“And then what? Don’t leave me sitting here in anticipation! I need to know,” I whined.

“I didn’t realize the ass was as tall as me. I leaned in and when he didn’t move back, my lips caressed his skin, stopping just below his ear. I told him I had something better for him to sink his teeth into,” he chuckled. I squealed. Actually squealed.

“Oh. my. goddess. You didn’t!” But I knew he did. Andrius isn’t the type to say what he doesn’t mean.
