CHAPTER 13
She was left speechless as they all pulled up to the front of the palace. It had all glass panels on the walls, and there were several armed guards that were dropped around the entrance. She was relieved that the car was able to come to a stop, and she watched as Alpha pulled the door open and pushed his way out of there.
She felt saddened slightly as it was her and Eli that were left. He gave her a small smile. "Hey, don't worry about him. He is always like that. Now come on, you are responsible, and it is time for me to take care of you." He said to her, And she couldn't help but blush slightly as she wondered what he could possibly mean by that.
Taking care of her could mean a large number of things.
She took his hand nonetheless as she allowed him to make his way out of the car. She felt her body vibrate with excitement as she was hit with the northern air. It was much different than the winds that she experienced in the south. She knew that She would have to learn to get used to it.
She made her way slowly out of the car as she felt her heart beat rapidly against her chest. She felt her mouth go into an o-shaped shape as she made her way out of the car. She felt a small smile come over her features, but soon enough that smile was able to fade when she took notice of Becca getting out of her car as well.
Just as Eil had said before, she had several bags waiting for her. "Oh look. If it isn't the pack, bad luck." She said to her in a smoker's voice and took a slow step towards her. Instinctively, Amelia took a step back as she felt a slight fear come over her.
"And who might you be". She mehard aeli say. She felt a sense of dread come over Her at his question; she felt Her insecurities take over as she looked over him. She knew that if he had come to learn more about the girl that was in front of him. He would want nothing to do with her, and he would be quick to leave her.

She held that the words wouldn't have bothered her so much but she couldn't help it. She felt as though she had taken a blade and stabbed it right through her chest.

But remember, this is more than just a competition of who had the most physical strength; it also had to do With your having mental strength as well." He said to her as he looked at her with her face reddened. She felt slightly enraged, but she couldn't help but chuckle. He seemed surprised by Her as he loomed down towards her and offered her a small, cheesy smile before giving her a bright grin.
She huffed at the both of them in response before rolling her eyes. "Thank you." Amelia found herself saying, and he only Shrugged his shoulders at her as he held her hand. Hey, we are friends, and we have to stick together". He said to her, and they began to walk away before she felt the ground rise, causing her to tumble downwards.
She turned away to find her staring at her with a deep glare on her face. She winced as she took notice of the small bruise that Had formed. Eli didn't seem to notice, and she was glad as it meant that there didn't have to be another confrontation. She didn't want him to fight her battles for her. She wanted to tell herself that She was strong and that she was her own person who was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. Well, at least that's what she told herself.
"Now come one . I don't know how many girls are here yet, but you guys have to share a room, unfortunately. Even though each row is only two girls in a room, I hope that it won't be that tight of a squeeze". He said to her.
She nodded her head at him in response. He had the same type of conditions she had to endure before now, and so If she had to share a room, her only fear was that she would end up having to share it with someone like Becca.
"But I Assure you that you are going to love it. I think I have a room that would fit your personality perfectly. It is almost as though it knew that you were going to be coming, and so I picked the place out just for you". He said to her with a bright grin. She couldn't help but feel her heart warm him. She had never had anyone do such nice things for her.
They soon came to a stop in front of the door, and she held her breath as he pulled it open.
