Chapter 33
Chapter 33
Someone’s POV
“Master Logan, your son is now reunited with his sisters,” I reported to Logan, my leader. I know the siblings’ every move—not just because I work for Logan, but because I’m his right hand.
This is where I began, and this is where my loyalty lies. As the eldest Lycan, Logan possesses a strength that no other powerful Were can match.
But his greatest weakness? His children.
“Well then, that’s good. It’ll be easier to kill them one by one,” my Master said calmly.
He picked up a goblet of wine from the table and swirled it around, grinning as he watched the liquid move. Power—that’s what we’re after. When he rules the world, even humans will become our slaves.
We will be the strongest. We will be the most powerful.
“Keep watching them. Find out what they’re planning for the upcoming war,” my Master instructed.
The rogues and Lycans under our command are vicious. Those Weres allied with them are no match for us.
“Yes, Master,” I replied with a bow. In our territory, he is the law. Every word he speaks is like gold—something we must value… because if we don’t, he’ll bury us alive or tear our bodies apart.
He shows no mercy to those who fail. I’m one of the few loyal followers he has left.
“A reminder, my loyal servant—gather our allies. Use force on those who disobey!” he ordered with a threatening tone. I nodded and was about to leave when he spoke again...
“Remember this—don’t you ever betray me. Or you’ll end up like this goblet,” he said, then shattered the wine glass with his bare hand.
The wine dripped to the floor, shards scattering everywhere—some sticking to his hand. I swallowed hard.
He sent me to the Silver Moon Pack because he knew it would be his toughest opponent.
That pack was one of the pillars of the werewolf world. So he came up with a plan: to send our members into every Pack.
Logan is both cunning and smart—he thought of everything. Rogues and Lycans would pretend to be loyal Pack members.
Each chosen infiltrator would go in, observe the Pack’s every move, and when we saw a weakness—we’d strike.
When we attacked, we gave the members a choice: side with us, or die at our hands.
That’s the werewolf world for you. Only the strongest survive. The weak? We kill them.
“I won’t fail you, Master Logan…”

Selene’s POV
“So noisy… someone’s trying to sleep,” my brother mumbled, scratching his nose. I laughed at his reaction after he shifted back to human form. So did those around us.
His eyes were still closed. How long has he been running from our mother?
I don’t think he’s eaten properly—or even slept. The deep hollows under his eyes say it all. I shook my head, but I knew he was at peace now. He knew Rose and I were beside him.
“Can someone help bring my brother to the Pack House?” I asked the nearby warriors. One of them stepped forward. “I’ll take care of it, Luna,” he said and carried my brother away.
Once I made sure he was okay, I turned to my husband and our son.
“Now, can you tell me what happened, love?” I asked my husband—but instead of answering, he kissed me passionately, like we hadn’t seen each other in years.
Of course, I kissed him back—I felt the same way. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Ahem.”
We pulled apart when someone cleared their throat. I blushed and stepped back.
He smiled teasingly. “You haven’t even given me a kiss, and you’re already bombarding me with questions?”
I was stunned by how cheesy my mate was. Will he ever stop making my heart race?
“Never, love. I’ll never stop making you feel giddy—for the rest of my life,” he whispered in my ear.
Geez! Why does he keep reading my thoughts? I covered my face in embarrassment. I forgot—we’re linked by our mate bond.
“Woooh! Save the lovey-dovey stuff for later. Let’s go home first,” Rose cut in.
Ugh, such a moment killer! Just wait until you meet your own mate—let’s see who’ll be the one getting teased then.
“Oh Ate, why are you looking at me like you’re about to bury me alive? Chillax, sis,” she teased in response to my glare.
“You’re pushing it, girl,” I snapped, annoyed. But she just laughed and walked ahead.
My husband shook his head and joined her, holding his mate, who had Darren asleep on her shoulder.
She wrapped her arms around his waist, and he rested his head on her shoulder as they walked. Dwight kissed the top of her head softly.
“I missed you so damn much, love,” he whispered.
Even a few hours apart feels like torture when it comes to the man I love—so what more two whole days?
“I missed you too. Those days without you felt like hell,” I replied.
Suddenly, Dwight stopped walking, so I did too and looked up at him.
“Tonight—I’ll make up for all the time I was away,” he said gently.
I smiled, stood on my tiptoes, and kissed him again.
“And I’ll make sure you do,” I playfully said between kisses, winking and licking my lips as we pulled apart.
He groaned like he was struggling to hold back.
“You’re such a tease, baby.” I laughed. Being a woman is great!
“I know, love,” I teased, walking ahead and swaying my hips as I went. I grinned when I caught the scent of his arousal.
“Be ready for your punishment, love. I’ll wear you out tonight,” he growled behind me.
Shit! Even his husky voice turns me on. Grrr! Dirty thoughts, go away!
“Damn! Love! Stop imagining us in bed—I can see it all! If I can’t take it anymore, I might make love to you right here, right now!” he warned.
Goosebumps shot up my arms. He said that with our child nearby!
“It’s your fault! Why don’t you close off your mind?! Geez—even the Pack members saw it!”
My eyes widened. Holy shit! I was so horny I forgot to close our mind link?
Myghad! My face turned even redder when he added,
“Don’t worry, love—I like it.”
“ARGGGH! Dear brain, I hate you! Thanks for embarrassing me!”
