Chapter 78 The Wedding
Elena’s POV
“You look amazing,” Clara said as put on my dress.
Today was my wedding day. Finally, it was here.
I looked at myself in the mirror, my cheeks were already hurting because I had been smiling all day.
“I doubt Liam will be able to stay away from you once he sees you,” Clara said as she arranged the train of my dress.
I don’t think I had ever been this happy.
“I agree, the Luna looks stunning,” Doris said. Clara had brought her along to help me dress since Sarah wasn’t a big fan of drees up.
“Thank you guys,” I said and played with my hands.
I was nervous about today. The wedding and what comes after it.
Mating.
You will be fine. Arya said as she yawned, clearly just waking up.
You don’t know that, I have no idea what I’m supposed to do, what if it goes wrong.
I felt embarrassed just from thinking about it.
It won’t and even though it did, our mate isn’t like that especially Connor, he adores us.
That made me feel a little better.
Arya and I have gotten closer these past few days. It was crazy to think that before all this I didn’t have a wolf. Now I could feel her growing and getting stronger every day.
“Elena?” Clara brought me back from my thoughts. “What are you thinking about?”
“Oh nothing, just the wedding and stuff.” I said.
“It will be fine, just worry about not forgetting your lines,” she nudged my side.
I laughed as I secretly recited them just to be sure I didn’t forget.
“You look good too,” I said as I looked her. She had cut her hair shorter now the it was just around her neck and the blue dress really brought out her eyes.
“I know, blue is my color,” she said and we both laughed.
Her eyes glazed over for a minute, then she smiled.
“It’s time.”
I took a deep breath as we both walked out of the room.
“See you on the aisle,” Clara said as she rushed away through the other door, Doris followed her behind.
I took a deep breath and walked to the door and opened it.
“Hello Elena,” an old man said with a warm smile.
“Hi, um do I know you?” I asked because his face was starting to look familiar.
He laughed. “Oh no, but you definitely know my son, Josh.”
That was why he looked so familiar, I could see the piercing blue eyes and the jawline.
I felt so much respect for him immediately, I remember when Sarah had told me about him and how he had helped them get their shit together especially Liam.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know, it’s nice to meet you,” I said.
“Enough with the explaining child, now take my hand, I believe your husband is at the other end waiting for his bride,” he smiled again.
I took his hand immediately not wanting to waste any more time.
“I’m ready,” I said with a big smile.
He took my hand and walked me out of the hall into the gathering outside.
I know I had seen the decorations before but somehow it looked better, more magical now.
We kept walking until we were facing everyone.
I looked around the familiar faces, all of them looked so happy for us.
My eyes went to Clara, Sarah , Scott and josh who were seated at the front.
It was very obvious that Josh was going to the best man.
My eyes went to where Ashley was, she looked so happy and was mouthing a you’ve got this as I walked.
After Liam had found her, the doctor said she was fine and healthy but something was different about her now. I would sometimes catch her staring at nothing or even mumbling to herself.
I was worried about her.
My thoughts were completely forgotten when I saw Liam.
I didn’t think it was possible for him to look more handsome but he was.
I forgot about everyone else as I walked up to him.
He looked good. I saw him gasp as he saw me walking towards him and I blushed. Clara was right. Liam was going crazy with me in this dress.
I finally got to him and I let go of Josh’s father’s hand.
And took Liam’s immediately.
“Hello, my woman of night,” he smirked as he kissed my hand.
I wasn’t sure why I felt hot inside just from a small peck. I didn’t say anything as I turned to the man in front of us.
Liam had gone first and said his vows. I was trying so hard not to cry when I heard I do.
“I do,” I said as my eyes stung.
He looked at me like I was his forever.
I didn’t blush but I smiled widely because I knew it was finally true and he was mine forever.
“You may now kiss the bride,” the man said and Liam wasted no time as he pulled me by the waist and crushed his lips on mine.
I pressed my body to his as I craved more.
The kiss was sweet at first and then it felt hot.
I kissed him back passionately, hating that we had to pull away.
“Ew, please can you to get a room,” I heard Sarah say from her seat and everyone started laughing. Including me and Liam.
He leaned and kissed my neck.
“You look like an angel in this dress, little mate,” my pulse quickened. “Too bad I would have to destroy it tonight.”
I felt heat pull in my belly and in between my legs.
Before I wasn’t sure I was ready but now my body was already begging for more.
