Chapter 159 CHAPTER 159
Roman’s POV
Whenever she was upset, Anna would turn the whole room on itself as though she was looking for a missing grain of salt. I watched her as I sat on the bed, pretending to be engrossed with the brochure in front of me. The problem about dating younger girls like her was that they were prone to throwing tantrums, and I hated tantrums.
I thought briefly of Jolene. I thought of those days I had her pinned against my desk and how she’d beg to have me. Anna needed some form of discipline. But not yet. First, I needed something important from her.
I’d wait till then, and when I'm sure she was heads over heels in love with me, I'd discipline her.
“Stupid fucking bitch,” she cursed, hurling another pile of clothes on the bed.
I lowered my brochure. “Are you going to tell me who got you this upset now?”
She glared at me and then continued turning the room into a mess.
I had a fairly good guess of who had offended her, I wasn't just sure why she was that affected. After Megan had thrown Rosaleen into the pool, and she marched away angrily, Anna had gone after her. Then she didn’t return and I met her in the room, turning everywhere upside down.
I hadn’t seen Rosaleen since the pool too.
I smiled. Perhaps she was so upset by my presence that she had to leave. I opened our chat and looked at the attachment I had sent to her as well as the instructions. I knew she had seen my message. I knew I had made her bad day even worse. But I was not done yet. No one messes with Roman Reigns and gets away with it.
“What’s amusing you?” she asked suddenly.
I looked up and realised that I'd been smiling. I broadened the smile. “You look cute when you are angry,” I said.
She hissed. “Don’t smile when I'm upset.”
I dropped the brochure and pushed myself out of the bed. “You haven't told me who got you upset, how do I make you happy?”
I pulled her towards me and she stayed still. I leaned down towards her neck and sniffed the rich smell of her perfume. Then I kissed her there. I felt her body relax.
“Will you allow me to do the trick?”
She wriggled away. “I’m not in the mood for any tricks,” she said. But she was smiling.
Mission accomplished.
She shrugged and looked around at the mess she had created. “We need to step out of this mess. I’ll get us another room,” she said.
Right, I thought. Instead of clearing her mess, she’d rather get another room.
“Did you talk to your brother yet?” I asked. “About the deal.”
She pulled off her top and her plump breasts dangled in front of me. In many ways, she reminded me of what I may have missed with Evelyn Moon. I thought of her form, stretched underneath the sun. She was perfect, but she had gone to be with the bastard Alpha Michael. Anna was enough as compensation for now.
“Not yet,” she replied. “I’ll tell him when we get home. My brother and I have a special kind of relationship.”
I walked closer to her and wrapped my arms over her naked body. I took a deep breath in and kissed her back. Then I spun her around and I thought of the million things I could be doing to her that would make her cry.
She smiled. “I need to get a quick shower, Roman. Then we’d go out for dinner and stay in another room.”
I loved the idea.
I grabbed her buttocks and squeezed it hard. Then I whispered into her ears. “Don’t keep the wolf waiting for too long.”
When she walked into the bathroom, I returned to the bed and picked up my phone. There was no response from Rosaleen yet. I was getting impatient. I dropped another text.
You are keeping me waiting. I hate to be kept waiting. I may do something we may both hate soon.
Then I waited for her reply which came about two minutes later.
I’ve spoken to Alpha Raymond. He’ll make sure you get the contract. Now delete this video for good. And I'll keep away from your business with Anna.
I smiled. She knew as well as I knew that I was never going to delete the video. I had copies of it made already.
I leaned my back against the pillow and closed my eyes. I was daydreaming. First, I'd take down Rosaleen. Then alpha Michael. Then I'll have Evelyn Moon begging to make her mine the way Jolene had. I imagined her in a red lingerie, on her knees. No, on her fours, I thought. If I was generous enough, we could include Anna.
I dozed off somewhere between my daydreams.
When I woke up, Anna was standing next to me with a towel wrapped over her body. Her face was red with anger and she was holding my phone.
“What is this?” she asked.
I jolted up and grabbed the phone from her hand.
“You are texting another woman, Roman? Who the hell is she?”
“Why the fuck are you going through my phone?” I asked, sitting up.
She crossed her arms. “Who is she? And what are you guys talking about?”
She had not unlocked the chats but she had seen the notification of the attachment i sent and the new message from Rosaleen.
“You are too nosy. It isn’t pretty at all,” I replied.
“You lying bastard! I want you out of here,” she said.
I couldn’t lose her yet. Not now.
I stood up. “Okay, you want to know the truth? I’ll tell you. It’s your friend, Rosaleen,” I said.
She raised her brow in doubt and anger.
“I knew Rosaleen a long time ago. We used to be lovers,” I said, grinning. “And she still wants me back. So should I go to her?”
