Chapter 235 Chapter 235

Chapter 235 Chapter 235
The fire in the forest spread wide, lighting the night sky red. The smell of smoke mixed with blood, and the cries of war echoed everywhere. The pack fought with all their strength, but Lucien’s men were many, and they fought like wild animals who had nothing to lose.

At the center of the battlefield, Damien’s black wolf moved like thunder, tearing down anyone that came close. His claws cut through enemies, his teeth ripped their throats. But his eyes were always searching—for Elara.

He saw her. His heart stopped for a moment. The white wolf with golden eyes was no longer weak, no longer hiding. She fought with fire in her veins. She moved fast, almost faster than his eyes could follow. Each time an enemy jumped at her, she spun with grace and brought them down. She was glowing under the moon, and it gave the pack hope.

The warriors shouted louder, howling for their Luna. They had never seen such a sight, and it made them stronger.

But far away, on a hill watching everything, Lucien’s eyes burned with rage. He could not believe what he was seeing. “Impossible!” he shouted. “She was never meant to awaken a wolf. How can she… how can she shine like this?!”

One of his men stepped close. “Alpha Lucien, she is strong. Stronger than any wolf we have faced. Maybe we should—”

Before he could finish, Lucien turned and snapped his neck with one move. The man fell lifeless. Lucien’s chest heaved with anger. “I will not run. I will not bow. Damien and Elara will die tonight, or I will burn this whole forest with them!”

He jumped down from the hill, shifting into his massive black wolf. His fur was darker than night, his red eyes glowing like fire. When he landed on the battlefield, the ground shook.

The warriors froze for a second. Some stepped back. His presence was heavy, like death had walked among them. His growl sent chills through every bone.

Damien’s eyes locked on him. Their growls met in the air, a sound that made even the bravest heart shiver. This was no longer a fight between packs—this was Alpha against Alpha.

Lucien rushed forward with speed, and Damien met him head-on. When their bodies clashed, the earth cracked beneath them. Their claws scratched deep, their teeth clashed, their growls filled the night.

The battle was brutal. Damien bit into Lucien’s shoulder, tearing flesh, but Lucien pushed him off with raw strength. Lucien slashed Damien’s side, blood spilling, but Damien roared and pushed back, his claws digging into Lucien’s chest.

They were equal. Both strong, both angry, both ready to kill.

Elara watched, her heart burning. She wanted to jump in, but she knew this was Alpha’s fight. Still, she stayed close, her golden eyes never leaving Damien. She fought off anyone that tried to attack him from behind. Twice, she saved him—once when a blade was thrown, she leaped and caught it with her teeth. Another time, when an enemy wolf tried to strike Damien’s back, she tore it apart in seconds.

Damien felt her strength beside him. Her presence gave him fire. He howled loud and attacked Lucien with more force. Their fight was like thunder and storm colliding. Each move shook the ground, each bite spilled blood, each growl cut the air.

Kael fought on the other side, pushing Lucien’s men back, but his eyes kept moving to Damien and Elara. “Hold strong!” he shouted to the warriors. “Protect the Alpha and Luna!”

Mira gathered the women and children in a safe corner, but her eyes were filled with tears. She whispered prayers to the Moon Goddess, “Protect them, please. Protect them all.”

The fight between Damien and Lucien dragged on. Both were wounded, but neither would stop. Lucien’s red eyes burned with hate. “You are weak, Damien! Just like your father!” he growled. “You do not deserve this throne. It is mine!”

Damien roared back, his voice shaking the earth. “I am not my father! And you will never take what is mine!”

He attacked again, biting into Lucien’s neck. Lucien howled in pain but slammed Damien to the ground with brutal force. For a moment, it looked like Damien would lose. Lucien pressed his claws deep into Damien’s chest, trying to crush his heart.

Elara’s golden eyes widened. “No!” she screamed through the bond. She leaped at Lucien with all her strength, knocking him off Damien. Her glowing white wolf pinned Lucien down, her teeth snapping dangerously close to his throat.

Lucien struggled under her. “You… witch!” he spat. “You think you can stop me?!”

Damien got up, blood dripping from his chest. He moved beside Elara, his black wolf pressing close to her glowing white wolf. They stood together, shoulder to shoulder, their eyes both locked on Lucien.

For the first time, Lucien’s heart shook. He saw it. He felt it. The bond between Damien and Elara made them stronger than him. Alone, he could fight. But together, they were unstoppable.

Lucien growled and jumped again, trying to separate them, but Damien blocked him while Elara struck from the side. They moved as one, their attacks sharp, fast, and full of fire. Damien’s claws cut deep into Lucien’s body, and Elara’s glowing teeth tore into his leg.

Lucien howled in pain. His men began to panic. Some tried to run, but Kael and the warriors blocked their path.

The battle grew hotter. Damien and Lucien clashed again, but this time Elara struck harder, her golden eyes shining brighter. She slammed Lucien down and held him in place while Damien attacked his chest with sharp claws. Blood poured out, and Lucien roared in rage.

Still, he would not die. He pushed them back with all his might, his red eyes glowing like fire. “I will not lose!” he screamed. “This throne belongs to me!”

Damien growled, standing tall beside Elara. His voice was steady, strong, and full of fire. “This throne belongs to the Moon Goddess. And she chose us.”

The battlefield went silent for a moment. The pack watched with wide eyes. Hope burned brighter in their hearts as their Alpha and Luna stood together against the monster.

Lucien roared again and prepared for his final strike, but Damien and Elara were ready. This fight was not over yet.
