Chapter 230 Chapter 230

Chapter 230 Chapter 230
The night was very still. The wind outside was soft, moving the leaves gently like whispers. Inside Damien and Elara’s chamber, everything was quiet. Damien was already asleep, his arm resting protectively around Elara’s waist. But Elara’s eyes kept moving slowly, her heart beating faster than usual.

She closed her eyes, trying to rest, and that was when it started.

In her dream, she found herself standing in a wide green field. The sky above was bright, the sun shining warmly on her face. She turned around in confusion, wondering where she was.

“Elara…”

The voice made her freeze. She knew that voice, even though she had not heard it in so long. Slowly, she turned, and her heart stopped.

Her parents stood there, smiling at her.

Her mother wore the same gentle smile she remembered from childhood. Her father stood tall and proud, his hand resting on her mother’s shoulder. They both looked so alive, so full of light, as if they had never been taken away from her.

“Mama… Papa…” Elara whispered, her voice breaking as tears filled her eyes. She ran toward them, and they opened their arms. She fell into their embrace, her tears running down freely. “I thought I lost you forever. I thought I would never see you again.”

Her mother touched her face gently. “We were always with you, my child. In your heart, in your blood, in your spirit. You are never alone.”

Her father looked at her with soft but firm eyes. “Elara, you carry more than you know. You have always been strong, but now your strength must rise even more. There is power sleeping inside you. It is time for you to awaken it.”

Elara blinked, confused. “Power? What do you mean? I am not strong like Damien. I don’t have what others have.”

Her father shook his head. “You have something greater. You are our daughter. The Moon Goddess blessed your bloodline, and now that blessing must reveal itself.”

Her mother smiled softly and held her hands. “When the time comes, you will not be afraid. You will shine, Elara. You will protect your child, your mate, and your pack. That is your destiny.”

Elara’s heart pounded. “But what if I fail? What if I am not enough?”

Her mother kissed her forehead. “You will not fail. The wolf inside you has been waiting. Soon, it will come.”

Before Elara could say another word, the dream began to fade. Her parents’ smiles grew brighter, their voices soft and loving.

“Remember, child… you are stronger than you think. Trust yourself.”

The light swallowed everything, and Elara gasped as she woke up.

Her body shook as she sat up quickly. Damien stirred beside her, his sleepy eyes opening at once. “Elara? What is it? Did you have another dream?”

Elara held her chest, her tears still wet on her cheeks. “I saw them, Damien… I saw my parents. They were smiling at me. They… they told me something strange.”

Damien sat up fully, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. “What did they say?”

“They said there is a power inside me… something I don’t understand. They said it will come soon.” Her voice shook as she spoke. She was scared but also… hopeful.

Damien studied her face carefully, his eyes serious. “Elara… maybe this is not just a dream. Maybe the Moon Goddess is speaking to you through them.”

Elara looked at him with wide eyes. “You think so?”

He nodded. “Yes. I believe everything you feel. You are not weak, Elara. I have always known there was more inside you than you see. Maybe this is the time for that strength to awaken.”

Elara pressed her face against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. His words calmed her, but deep inside, she still felt the strange energy her dream had stirred.

The rest of the night was restless. Elara kept feeling warmth running through her veins, like fire and light mixing together. It was not painful, but it was strange—like something inside her wanted to break free.

By morning, the sun was bright through the curtains. Mira entered quietly, carrying a tray of food. She smiled at Elara, though her eyes quickly noticed how pale she looked. “Luna, did you sleep well?”

Elara forced a small smile. “Not really. I had… a dream again.”

Mira set down the tray and came closer, holding her hand. “Your parents again?”

Elara nodded. “But this time they were happy. They told me I have something hidden inside me. That my wolf will come soon.”

Mira’s eyes widened. For a long time, Elara had been seen as the Luna without a wolf. The pack respected her because of Damien, but some whispered doubts behind her back. If she truly carried a wolf spirit inside her, everything would change.

Mira smiled brightly. “That is a blessing, Luna. Maybe the Moon Goddess has finally answered your prayers. You must be strong and ready.”

Elara felt her throat tighten with emotion. She wanted to believe it was true. She wanted to believe she was more than just a weak Luna hiding behind Damien’s strength.

Damien walked in just then, his face glowing with pride as he looked at Elara. “Whatever comes, my Luna, I know one thing—you will never stand alone. I will fight with you, beside you, until my last breath.”

Elara looked at him, her eyes glistening. She whispered softly, “What if what they said is true? What if something is coming, Damien?”

He held her hand tightly. “Then we face it together. With me, with you, with our child, and with the whole pack. Nothing will break us.”

Mira smiled at both of them, her heart swelling with hope. For the first time, she felt the Luna had finally found a light of her own.

Later that day, as Elara walked outside into the garden, the sunlight felt different. Warmer. Brighter. She touched her belly gently, whispering to the child inside. “Mama and Papa said I am stronger than I think. I don’t know how yet… but for you, my little one, I will be brave. I will not fail you.”

The wind blew softly, carrying her words away. For the first time in a long while, Elara did not feel broken. She felt something rising inside her—like a fire waiting for its time to burn bright.

And deep in the forest, Lucien felt it too. He paused where he stood, his eyes narrowing. “So… the little Luna is stirring,” he muttered darkly. “Interesting. Very interesting. Let us see how strong you really are, Elara.”

The game was changing. The pieces were moving closer to the final battle. And Elara, the Luna who once thought herself powerless, was finally about to discover the truth of who she really was.
