Author's P.O.V.
Cain knees kissed the ground, as he saw the lifeless body of Iris on the ground.
He crawled towards her in tears, his tears rolled down his cheeks, it poured down on Iris body, beads of sweat dotted his nose.
He could no longer hold the tears back, he bursted into tears loudly he was less concerned about anything that would happen.
"Iris wake up please, please, please, don't leave, not now please, remember our promise, don't break it." He held her close to him and looked at her chest, he saw the void space, it was then he knew that her heart was gone.
He placed her head on his lap.
"It's alright man." Mudryk came close to Cain but he was forcefully hitted away by Cain, furiously.
"All this while, I knew you love her that was why I always handled her with care." Alaric broke the silence.
He sniffed and dropped her down, he unsheathed his sword and walked towards the vampire slicing their heads into four different parts.
He butchered them into pieces angrily, he yelled furiously, he went down to the floor again still on tears his head faced the ground, his tears dropped on the floor bit by bit.
"We would surely avenge her death." Alaric lifted him up.
"You are the cause of this." Cain said, pointing his fingers at Alaric.
"She fucking betrayed me, and all I did was what she deserved, so shut the hell up, it's also painful to me, I made a promise, that I could not fulfill in the end." Alaric said to Cain, immediately Cain stopped talking.
"He would die in the next one hour if he his not attended to." Mudryk picked Torin up and ran out.
"Follow him, Cain." Alaric said and Cain picked Iris up and ran out.
"I'll follow them." Thomas said and left.
Alaric rested his back against an oak tree, he slid with his back on the tree to the floor, slowly.
This was his first time of breaking a promise, he sent a lot of blows to the tree that was at his front, the trees cracked.
He looked at the dead body if the vampires with fury in his eyes, it was like he should kill them once again and he would make their death, slow and painful.
"A painless death, is a blessing, a quick death is a favor." Alaric said with fury, filled in his eyes.
"I am coming for you." He said once more as he stood up.

Chelsea's P.O.V
I was still thinking of why Alaric was yet to come, up till now, or did he hear the questions in which my dad asked me and he thought my dad didn't liked him and he decided to stop coming here.
No he his not that dumb to do stuffs that's as crazy as that.
But I've dropped a lot of missed calls, but he had not answered, even one of them.
Nor had he even called me back.
Why an I thinking about him anyways, he did not really mean much to me in a way or two.
My mind immediately went to Kayla and Torin, they hade love towards one another.
It has started to show, and very soon it's going to spread like a wild fire.
But me, I would not be the one to broadcast it, because I would not like my reputation or my profile, to get spoilt right before me.
My room door clicked, it opened slowly as it made creepy sounds.
I turned back and saw John at my back.
"You scared me John." I said to him who pretended like he did not hear my voice, he jumped on the bed and gave a sigh which seemed to be a relieved one.
"Scared you?" He scoffed, he had started talking in a matured way.
"What happened to you, John?" My gaze was set on him.
He took a novel from the bed, he opened it slowly and glanced through every page he opened carefully.
"Nothing chels, nothing." He said after shifting the novel partially to the left, in order to look at me in the eyes.
What is this weird behavior, what is actually wrong with John this time.
I've never seen him acting like this before, his voice had started sounding different than before, I started having a strange feeling right where I stood.
Was he possessed by someone or something.
"Caught ya." He shouted as I screamed out of fear with the way he jumped up, unknowingly to me.
"Whoa, you are very brave, but I never knew all this while." He hissed out of disgust.
"John." He looked back as I showed him my middle finger.
He walked towards the door. "Wish you the best." He whispered to me and closed the door and I heard running footsteps it was actually his.
My phone started ringing.
I looked at it and it was Alaric's call.
I picked it and he began.
"Be careful, chels be careful, they have started the war from a low profile." I heard Alaric voice, but it was not like his normal voice.
There was anger in his voice, I could feel the aura.
Fury was also in his voice, he might do something in which he might regret for the rest of his life.
His location was on, I looked at where he was and got prepared.
"You really need to be careful chels, I wouldn't lose you like I losed her." Alaric started talking like he was not going to return.
"Ok, I've heard you Ric." I ended the phone call, wore my Snickers and a good.
I left the house sneakingly.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.
We were getting closer to each other.
I saw him from a far distance and called him.
He looked back, our gaze met with each other.
He ran towards my direction.
"Go back chels, you might be a burden to me." He said with a cold stare.
