Chelsea’s POV
I found myself walking up to the toilet, I just finished my lunch not quite long and I still have about a few minutes before the lectures begins.
Why am I even going to the toilet?
I stop to ask myself that question.
Oh! I want to ease myself. I let out a sigh and continue walking to the toilet, I pushed the toilet door open, and it is empty.
I had this feeling of déjà vu after I finished easing myself and washing my hands and my face. I raise my head up and I see Alaric standing behind me.
This time I didn’t attempt to shout like I did the last time, my lips stretch to a smile slowly and I turn back to look at him.
“You know it is wrong to walk into the ladies toilet and it is already becoming a habit of you” I say to him with my arms folded on my chest.
“Well I don’t mind breaking a rule or two just to see you” he says with a smirk on his face.
I rubbed my head like I was trying to remember something, “what is your name again, I kinda forgot about it again?”
“There is no way you forget about my name again” he said in disbelief with shock plastered on his face.
I laugh at his reaction, it is quite funny, “I was just joking, how will I forget that name?”
I don’t know why it’s already stuck to my head after hearing it just twice upon how ancient it is compared to other names that is a hassle to memorize.
I noticed that he is just putting on a black hoodie and black pants like I saw on him during lunch, the hoodie is not a thick layer kind and it is a light layer.
I arch my eyebrow at him with a puzzled expression.
“What is it?” He asks.
I let out a soft chuckle, “You are just like my friend, Torin”
It seems they have a lot more in common.
“Torin?” he squinted his eyebrow like he is thinking of something.
“Oh you mentioned him yesterday, how am I like him?” he lean with his back on the wall, he buried his hands into his pockets.
It seems they both have a few things in comparison, “the both of you wear light clothes in this freezing weather…” I pointed out.
“How do you do it, are you not freezing to death?” I ask him, he doesn’t look like he is affected by the cold at all even a tiny bit.
Like who wears summer clothes during winter and the winter in NYC is nothing compared to this one here at Seattle?
“Oh” he let out a soft chuckle.
“It’s just my nature I guess, the wind can’t affect me much like it does to humans” he didn’t fail to lay emphasis on the word “human”.
“So are you trying to tell me that you are not a human?” I ask him with a look of unbelief plastered on my face.
“Did I ever tell you that I am a human before?” he answered my question with a question.
I look at him surprisingly, “So are you telling me that there are other races apart from human on this earth that you will like to educate me about?” I ask him.
If I am to put one plus one together, maybe he is a werewolf after all, just like the first book I read from the attic about werewolf, they aren’t prone to cold. Then I would have to include Torin as a werewolf also and I don’t just see Torin as werewolf.
I scoffed at the idea.
It doesn’t affect them at all, no matter how harsh the cold is.
“Do you really think that the only race in this earth are humans?” he ask with an expression of shock plastered on his face.
“Yes of course, why not?” it is my turn to have a look of unbelief on my face.
Like is there any other race apart from the humans?
I have read about werewolves, vampires and witches but they are all fiction, who would believe powerful beings like that really coexist with humans in this world?
The sound of the bell indicating for the end of the lunch break sounded pulling me out of my thoughts.
He shake his head before replying me, “you really don’t know anything, Chelsea”
The look in his eyes like I am an innocent pure girl that he don’t want to expose to the terrors of this world, it is like he is hiding something from me and I can’t tell at all what he is really hiding.
He walk towards me with his hands out of his pockets, he placed one of his hands on the wall beside me and I felt weak immediately.
His face is just a few inches from mine, I can’t even move an inch from where I am.
Suddenly the toilet’s temperature become hot even in this winter, I didn't believe that such a thing can happen before.
I feel his hot breath on my neck as he inched his face closer to mine.
He used his finger to draw a line on my cheek, down my already parted lips to my neck. I let out a gasp, my eyes were already closed. I am beginning to feel hot all over, especially down south, I clamped my thighs together, I could feel how wet and for some reasons I am sure he knows how aroused I am.
I let out a soft moan as I feel his finger at the middle of my hoodie like he is about to trace his way down to the middle of my cleavages.
“You should head to class now” he muttered and I couldn’t feel his presence again.
I opened my eyes and he is no longer here again.
"Fuck!" I mutter and breath out, I didn't even know that I was holding my breath in for long.
I adjusted myself properly before heading out of the toilet.
Alaric's POV
I walked straight to my office. I hate leaving Chelsea in a mood like that, I really want to satisfy her but I am still having doubts.
I can feel the mate bond getting stronger every day. The way my heart beats with joy and the way I always drift into my thoughts, thinking about no one but her.
I have never have this kind of feeling or thoughts about anyone before except my past mate, Caira.
Is Chelsea really my mate?
I can still feel Caira's presence out there in the world.
Caira once said something about she coming to wake me up, I would have said that Chelsea might be the reincarnation of Caira but they are nothing alike at all and Chelsea doesn't even know anything about the supernatural world.
She still looks innocent and pure, introducing her to my world does not really seem like a good move to me.
I guess I will just have to still keep an eye on her and interact with her like I am doing now.
There is a knock on the door pulling me out of my thought.
I brush my hand through my hair, combing it backwards.
I can tell who it is from the scent, it is no other person than Cain standing behind the door.
"Come in"
"Good day sir" he bowed as he walk in with a book on his hand.
"Sir, you asked for the details about the past internal war and things like that" Cain says with his head still bent slightly.
"Yes" I answered, my hands placed on the table.
"Here they are sir" he says and stretched the book to me.
"I have written down the list important things and even the smallest information because they can all be helpful" he continue.
I open the book and looked through the pages, I can see glimpses of what I have requested for.
I nod my head before raising it to look at him with an expression that says"anything more?"
He seems to understand my expression and he shake his head. "Nothing at all sir"
His hands was folded behind his back.
"Fine then, you may leave" I dismissed him with my hand.
Immediately he left the office, I started reading the book.
I don't have much time left before the blood moon, so I have to catch up with all the things I missed as fast as I can.
