Chelsea's POV
I woke up the next day and the incident of the past night came rushing back into my head again. I had gone to bed wondering what he meant by that statement but I couldn't come to an answer.
I had anticipated to feel his touch on my skin, my body was seriously aching for his touch. I had never felt that way before, feeling his hot breath on my neck is enough to make my knees weak, I could feel a damp form at the wrongest place of all.
I was really wishing for his touch so badly but he left me hanging, just like when I had wished to feel his lips on mine back at the girls toilet in school but he pecked me on my cheeks and disappeared.
God! Why am I thinking of a total stranger that I barely know like this. Not that he looks like a total stranger. I can not remember having seen him before but for some reason it feels like I know him but I can't remember where I know him from or how I know him. The more I think about it, the more my head hurts.
I hold my head softly and let out a groan from my throat before climbing out of my bed and lazily heading to the bathroom.
I took a look at myself in the mirror as I walked passed it, I looked like a mess.

I got to school few minutes before first period started and we are having physics. I groaned and was about to shut my locker when I saw Torin standing behind me with a smile on his face.
I turned back giving him a weird look.
"What?" He ask after noticing the weird look that was plastered on my face.
"Nothing" I muttered and turned heading to class, he started walking beside me.
I wasn't paying attention, I was really confused if this is really Torin, he just sorta changed overnight to a completely opposite version of the Torin I once knew.
"Chels?" He called me with a puzzled expression on his face.
"Huh, you were saying?" I ask him with a smile on my face, trying to hide the fact that I kinda zoned out.
"Geez! So you are telling me that you didn't hear anything that I was saying"
"Uhmm… no" I answered.
We have already sat down in class and waiting patiently for the teacher to come in.
I tilt my head to look at him with a puzzled expression on my face.
"What?" He ask while bringing out his book from his backpack without even turning to look at me.
How the fuck did you know I was staring?. That was what I wanted to ask him but I waved the question apart.
"This may come out more like a weird question or so…"
He cut me short, "you are weird yourself so I was not expecting a normal question before" he says teasingly.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Anyways go on with your question" he say like I need his permission before asking a question.
"Is this like the real you, like I mean the actual you. Is this the actual you?" I asked trying not to sound weird.
He let out a soft chuckle before answering me, "Why do you ask? Is this me too hot for you to handle".
"Don't deceive yourself, whoever told you that you are hot is clearly deceiving you and doesn't have good eyes like me" I reply him with a smirk.
"Ouch!" His tone is laced with sarcasm, he placed his hands on his chest feigning a pained expression like he was really hurt by my statement but I was sure it didn't have any effect on him.
Even if it does, I guess he is perfect at masking his real emotions then.
I prefer this new version of Torin, for some reason I felt like he wasn't faking it and this is really him.
"Mr. Torin and Miss. Chelsea do you want to come and replace me in front of the class, so you can tell the class what the both of you are talking of"
"Sorry sir" we both chorused.

The class came to an end after what looked like forever, I couldn't be more than happier as I heard the bell indicating for the break.
I shoved my books into my backpack and walked out of the classroom hurriedly.
I bumped into someone who was coming in also.
"Chelsea where are you in a hurry to?" She asks.
I arch my eyebrows and look at her with an expression on my face that says 'where else than the fucking school cafeteria?'
"Where else than the school cafeteria?" I voice out my expression to her except for the "fucking" because of Miss Elena who is passing by at the moment. She told me during the last class that she would be sure to send me to the detention if she hear any cuss words from me again.
"Well I came to get you so that we can go together"
"Spill it out Kay" I say to her as we walked to the school cafeteria together.
As far as I know Kayla, I could tell what she was saying through her expression and the one currently on her face is like, 'I have got something to ask you Chels'
"What?" She ask me, trying to act ignorant, like she don't know what I am asking of.
My look was enough to make her spill it out.
"Fine" she raised her hand up in the air like she is admitting defeat.
"What's up with you and Torin since yesterday?"
I burst out into laughter as we collected our tray of food and was walking to seat with the boys.
"Nothing, he just sorta changed overnight"
We both saw him seating with the boys Kevin and Jasper, they were all cracking their ribs up with laughter.
"It's bad for you guys to have fun without filling us the ladies on what's going on" Kayla says and pull out a chair beside me.
"Well we were just discussing about boys matter" Kevin says with a shrug of his shoulder.
"Boys matter that doesn't include us?" I ask, arching one of my eyebrow at him.
I noticed they were all looking at my food. I make sure to fill my tray with food. It seems like I have an insatiable hunger for food.
I eat anything I get on not minding if there is poison in it, well all of that statement isn't really true though.
Like which sane person will eat a food when they know that if contains poison, even an insane person wouldn't dare try such.
"Well it isn't you people's belly that the food is going to so y'all should just mind your business" I say and stuffed my mouth with food.
I raised my head and looked beyond Kevin who was sitting opposite us with his back facing the window.
I paused immediately with the food stuffed in my mouth and unable to chew anything for a while.
I start chewing the food slowly, I want to smile but I can't due to the food in my mouth.
My heart was beating with joy as I sight someone standing far off, it was none other than Alaric.
I smiled this time, I am already done eating the food in my mouth.
I waved at him not minding the people that was sitting beside me and I could swear that I saw a smile creep up to his face.
Kevin looked at me weirdly.
"What?" I ask after noticing the weird look plastered on his face.
He looked back behind him, my eyes followed his gaze also to where Alaric was standing a few seconds ago.
He looked back at me with the same expression on his face, "who are you waving to?"
I notice that everyone on our seat, Kayla, Jasper and Torin is paying all their attention on me.
Did all of them really see me wave?. That is the question I ask myself.
I rolled my eyes and answer them, "none of y'all business" I snapped at them and continued digging into my food.
"Do you have a boyfriend" Kayla whisper, so that it's only people sitting in our table would be able to hear her.
They all turned their attention to me again waiting patiently for an answer.
The look on their face showed just how eager they were to know.
Well, Alaric and I are not dating, at least not yet, who knows whether we might have a relationship in the nearby future.
I can't seem to understand the feelings that I usually feel whenever I am around Alaric, he don't even need a matchbox or a lighter to light me up for him. I am beginning to crave for his attention.
"No" I say and dig into my food.
Right now all I can focus on is this food that is before me, maybe I will try to eat it till I am filled up.
