Dain was back.

“Selene.” I heard her voice and a small smile grazed my lips as she knocked loudly on my door. It was just as I expected. She had come. 

“I'm coming.” I got down from the bed, adjusted the collar on my neck, and then I walked towards the door. 

“Walk fast!! I have no time to waste with your lazy ass.” She yelled at me and I slowly opened the door, to reveal Ravenna’s face. 

“Alpha Dain is back and you are going to serve him his meal. Come with me.” I went with her, slowly walking behind her. 

“You could have just died from the beating. I have no idea why you are still fucking alive. The best news that I would want right now is the news of your fucking death. You just need to stop existing.” She hissed, mumbling under her breath, and as usual, I smiled softly. My smile seemed to annoy her because Ravenna did not find it funny at all. She looked so red as if she was going to burst as she glared very hard at me. 

“I'm not so easy to kill, you know.” I shrugged. If I were, I should have died the day my whole village was killed. But I did not. That was enough to show that I was not so easy to kill. 

“Shut up! Don't think you are so lucky that Beta Cassius was on your side. You should understand that you went against Princess Gracia and she will not stop until she kills you.” I sighed heavily. I would be a big liar if I said that I was not scared. But Gracia would not necessarily be able to do anything to me. 

We arrived at the kitchen and I noticed that Dain’s food had already been prepared and arranged. Before I walked over to pick it up. I moved closer to Ravenna and whispered in her ear. “That is my problem. Let me deal with it. Mind your fuckimg business.” and then I was walking away. I heard her mutter slave under her breath, but I did not bother sparing a second glance at her, I just went ahead to pick up the tray and then I walked away.

I got to his room and then gently knocked on the door. “Come in.” His deep baritone voice replied from inside and I took in a deep breath before opening the door and walking in.

“Do you need anything Alpha?” I will get it done immediately.” I said in a low and soft voice and he only assessed me with his eyes for a while before saying, “Strip.”
