Chapter 84

Chapter 84
"Calix!" I cried.

He sucked my nipple, licking, nipping so gently that I forgot how to breathe. I arched my torso towards him, willing him to take more. His lips curved into a satisfied smile before running a tongue on my entire bre, sts. Calix expertly dragged his tongue to my other brea,st and enclosed my nipple with his mouth.

Reopening my eyes, I moaned as the sensation of his tongue engulfed me. He was sucking me, biting me, teasing me in a way that made my core throb for him.

"Calix, please! I begged

Yes, bella. What do you want?"

"I need you, I blurted

With one last tease, Calix straightened, his eyes utterly darkened with need. His gaze locked on mine, he grabbed his member and guided himself to my entrance "You're so wet and ready for me," he said, searching my gaze

I moaned as he flicked his rod at my entrance before pressing forward. I gasped and gripped his shoulder for support.

Each time he pressed inside, I huffed because it felt as though my chest was opening up too. I forgot he was this big and delicious. "Open up for me, baby."

"Calix!" I moaned and wrapped my legs around him, willing to go deeper.

He claimed my lips in a lingering kiss that made my stomach flutter. And then with one single thrust, he embedded himself completely inside me.

Our moans filled the air. None of us moved, just savoring the bliss of us being joined intimately.

Calix groaned, his grip tightening on my hips. He was barely restraining himself. You're so beautiful, Emily...so sweet."

A shudder ran through me as my walls clenched around him, drawing a sharp hiss from his lips. His fingers dug into my skin, his control hanging by a thread.

I whimpered, tilting my hips just slightly, and that was all it took. His resolve snapped.

Calix let out a deep, guttural growl, his grip tightening as he pulled back slightly and sank into me, again and again.

A soft cry escaped my lips, my fingers clawing at his back, needing him closer, deeper. The heat between us flared, coiling tighter with every languid thrust.

His lips found my neck, trailing feverish kisses over my mark, sending jolts of pleasure through my entire body. "Mine," he growled

Our tongues met, moved, and dissolved.

My legs trembled around him, my body melting into his as he moved in a steady, Intoxicating rhythm.

"Calix please," I whimpered, not even sure what i was begging for, only that I needed more.

I gasped as he hit a spot deep inside me.

His hands roamed, worshiping me, as he began to move faster, harder, dragging më closer and closer to the edge.

Suddenly, he flung me over and resumed ramming into me. I was kneeling before him, gasping for air as he stretched me beyond words. "You're so delicious, bella."

I moaned, clawing at the soil. His hand on my hip tightened, holding me in place while the other cupped my breasts, caressing them as he rammed into me with insane speed

My legs began to shake Something snapped deep inside me and I shattered. My core clenched and unclenched around him, dripping with my release.

"Fvck!" Calix. With a guttural growl, he arrived at me, bathing my inside with his warm juice.

He collapsed forward, wrapping his arms around me, pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses along my shoulder and back.

We stayed like that, tangled together, our bodies slick with sweat, the cool night air brushing against our heated skin. His breath was ragged against my ear, his hands still roaming lazily over me as if memorizing every inch.

"You're perfect," he whispered, pulling me back against his chest.

I sighed in contentment, my body still humming with pleasure. "And you're delicious."

Calix chuckled, his lips grazing my temple. "Only for you, my Luna."

We kissed and Calix jerked to his feet. He lifted me into his arms bridal style and Readed back to the riverbank. "What's next?" I asked.

"Perhaps, a swim in the river."

I stiffened. "Calix, I-I can't swim"

He chuckled and nuzzled my neck. "You healed a dying man, bella. You can survive a little water."

"Those are two different things altogether."

"Don't worry, my love. I'm here to guide you.

My brows creased as a thought played in my head. "Why do I feel this is the reason you brought us here? It wasn't just about introducing me to Gabriel or the lovemaking...you wanted to teach me how to swim."

A playful smile lit up Calix's expression. "Alright, you got me," he admitted, exhaling. "I may have had a little ulterior motive, but that's because I wanted you to be ready before we headed back to Nirian,

My eyes widened. "Are we relocating?"

He nodded. "My people need me over there. Our people need us over there. But that doesn't mean we won't be visiting Tyr from time to time"

A knot tightened in my stomach. "What if they don't accept me? I'm not just an outsider, Calix. I'm human-well, partly."

"You are my mate, my Luna-their Queen. That alone makes you worthy. But beyond that, you're a special wolf. You're strong. You're kind. The people of Nirian will be more than happy to have you."

His words filled me with warmth. It eased my worries, but there was still a lingering nervousness at the thought of stepping into a kingdom full of Lycans-powerful, ancient beings who had only ever known their own kind ruling over them.

But I swatted his chest playfully. "But that doesn't exonerate you, the fact you tricked me down here. I'm still angry with you."

Then punish me later," he teased, kissing my cheek. "For now, let me show you that the river isn't something to fear,"

We arrived at the riverbank and Calix lowered me back to my feet. He dived into the water and beckoned on me to join him.

"C'mon, I've got you," he encouraged.

At first, I was petrified as I stepped foot in the water. A shiver surged down my spine as I relived the times I almost drowned in Azalean and Cathena. But Calix was there, encouraging and guiding me every step of the way.

"Move your hands like this," he muttered. "And your feet, like this."

I copied his every move and in no distant time, I was swimming all by myself. I gasped, a wave of excitement surger through me. "I'm doing it!" I cried.

"Yes, you're, my love, Calix replied. He let me swim around for sometime before teaching me what he called a great aspect of swimming-surviving underwater.

It wasn't easy at first, holding my breath underwater. It was harder with Calix making funny faces under water. According to him, I needed to learn how to survive through anything underwater; to hold my breath despite the challenge.

"There, you're getting it," Calix said through our bond, giving me a thumbs up underwater.

Emerging from the water, I wheezed and swam around the water to celebrate myself. I could hear Calix chuckling and cheering behind me. But suddenly, a sharp pain hit me.

"Emily!" Calix called out as he noticed me drifting underwater. He swam toward me, caught me and propelled us to the banks. The pain came again, a charring hit that swept through my spine and gathered heat at my core. I pressed my thighs together in an attempt to ease the imbearable ache, but it only made the fire burn hotter.

A shuddering gasp escaped my lips.

My gaze snapped at Calix. Every nerve in my body begged for his touch, for him to claim me, to soothe the unbearable hunger clawing at me from the inside out.

"I-I don't know what's happening to me," I panted.

His grip tightened around me. "You're in heat, Calix growled.

A shiver ran down my spine at the realization. The moment his words registered, a wave of uncontrollable desire crashed over me. My body moved on its own. I straddled him, seeking relief from the fire igniting within me. A soft moan escaped my lips as I rubbed against him, desperate for friction, desperate for him.

"Emily," he warned. I could feel his m/hood going hard against my sensitive skin.

"Please," I whimpered, looking up at him with pleading, wild eyes. "I need you."

The tension snapped between us. With a low growl, he claimed my lips in a searing kiss. His hands gripping my thighs, he lifted me

I took every inch of him, from top to bottom, until there was nothing left

The moon shone relentlessly as Calix and I made out on the riverbank, Our muffled cry filled the air, so did the slapping sounds of our skin, as I rode him with a zest that surprised even me.

Before dawn cracked the horizon, we'd made love everywhere; on the riverbank, in the water, against a tree. He bathed my core over and over again with his warm milk.

And we lay exhausted on the riverbank, panting for our lives.

Calix pulled me into his arme and planted a kiss on my forehead. "We should head back," he whispered, and I nodded in agreement.

dressed back in my clothes, and he shifted into his lycanthrope. Hours later, we arrived at the castle just as the guests were leaving: Calix wore back his clothes In the garden, and, holding hands, we stepped into the courtyard.

There was the sight of my family leaving. "Mother!" I called and darted after them.

My mother gasped. "Emily, where have you been?" she asked. And then she saw Calix fixing a button of his tunic. Her lips twisted into a smirk. "Oh, never mind."

"Congratulations once again, on your coronation," my father said.

I squinted from the sun as I glanced at my parents. The rest of my family were already making it into their carriages. "Will I see you again?" I asked.

"Of course. At the christening of your pup, Queen Larissa teased.

"Larissa?" my father chided.

"Oh, I was just kidding. We'll be visiting anytime you invite us. Also, we'll be writing to you from time to time," she said.

Alpha Thane cleared his throat. "I learned you're relocating to Nirian. King Calix told me"

"Yes" I nodded. "But I'm nervous."

"You don't have to be. You're not just any wolf. You're special. You're the fated mate of their King, their Queen and Luna.

They'll be so glad to have you."

Tears gathered in my eyes. I walked into their embrace, replaying memories of them from my childhood, marveling at how far we'd come. I'll miss them so much. But I also had to embrace the new me.

Footsteps echoed behind me as we straightened. Randolph and Leia, stepping out to bid them farewell. Apparently, it turned out Randolph had Introduced his mate to them before my ceremony yesterday.

My parents even placed a bet upon seeing Leia's growing belly-while my mother believes it's a girl, my father strongly believes it's a boy,

Calix, who had been standing by the corner, giving my family all the privacy we needed, finally joined the farewell party Thank you for honoring my invitation," he said to my parents.

"The pleasure is all ours," my father said and my mother curtsied.

"Please, always write to us," my mother whispered before climbing into the carriage. My father followed closely, and the footman shut the door.

"Bye, Emily Ryan popped his head through the window, waving until their carriage rode past the castle's gates.

Calix wrapped his arms around me, reminding me that I was not alone. We had each other, and that was all that mattered.
