Chapter 1101: What's Going On?

When the two arrived at the club, Isaac had already sobered up a bit.

Seeing Emma and his sister enter, Isaac was momentarily stunned.

He vaguely remembered Victor making a phone call.

But he thought Victor regretted it and called Olivia.

At the very least, he should have called Nathan.

But unexpectedly, he actually called Emma!

So all the things he had just said were in vain.

Victor really had given up on Olivia.

"Victor, how are you?"

As soon as Emma entered, she went straight to Victor's side, concerned about his condition.

Victor had drunk more than Isaac and was now barely conscious.

Upon hearing Emma's voice, he furrowed his brows and nodded slightly.

"Emma, you take Victor back first. I'll take care of my brother."

Abigail suggested from the side.

Emma agreed without hesitation, but when she tried to help Victor up, it was quite difficult.

Just as she was about to go out and ask for help from a waiter, she saw Nathan hurriedly approaching.

"Miss Thornton, where is Mr. Leer? He called me just now and asked me to bring you all back."

After Victor finished the call with Emma earlier, he immediately contacted Nathan.

In the end, even though he was drunk, he couldn't let his guard down around Emma.

Seeing Nathan made Emma's expression turn sour. She stepped aside and made way for him. "He's inside. Go help him out."

Nathan nodded and quickly walked into the private room. First, he helped Victor into the car, then assisted Abigail in getting Isaac into her car.

Before leaving, Nathan voiced his concerns. "Miss Whitaker, can you manage this alone?"

Abigail waved her hand nonchalantly. "Don't worry. My brother will be asleep like a log in no time. You go take care of Victor."

Only then did Nathan return to Emma's car.

Emma was sitting in the back seat with the drunk Victor beside her.

Nathan started the car and headed towards his boss's place.

In the back seat, Emma suppressed her excitement and stole glances at the person next to her.

Even though they had been engaged for six years, this was the first time she sat with Victor. A surge of mixed emotions filled her heart.

In the past, Victor always avoided her...

Just as Emma felt pleasantly surprised, the car suddenly jolted.

After the jolt, Victor leaned even closer to Emma.

As the distance between them became closer Emma's eyes flickered as she glanced at Nathan, who was driving.

Noticing that he didn't pay attention to what was happening in the back seat, Emma cautiously reached out and tugged on Victor's sleeve, pulling him closer to herself.

Under her arrangement, Victor unknowingly leaned against her.

Emma felt both nervous and excited.

As Nathan stopped at a red light and instinctively glanced at the rearview mirror, he was shocked to see his boss so intimately leaning on Emma!

What was going on?!

When Nathan saw Emma in the private room earlier, he found it strange.

He remembered that his boss was repulsed by Emma and was actively pursuing Olivia.

But why were they suddenly so close?

He even called Emma to pick him up while drunk!
