Chapter Forty Six - Getting Lost Even In Ukraine

"Hold onto me tightly." George instructs Kellie as the air blows against them. "It's just a minute past 4pm. We have less than an hour but we must get to the hostel."

"This place is so cold. Yet, it's a desert." Kellie replies

"Don't say anything. Since anyone wasn't interested in guiding us to our destination, we gotta do this ourselves."

"Remember, the moon goddess said not go find me if I get lost. It doesn't seem we are going to get to the described hostel in less than an hour." Kellie replies. "Don't stress yourself. Let me get lost."

"Stop talking!" George yells. "Stop talking! Not even in this manner. Who else do I have in this country?"

"Maybe Clarissa or Kelvin will occupy your time so you won't have to think about me." She replies. "I've been fated to always get lost. Don't you understand?"

"I do. But I have promised to be always there for you." George says. "Come on, let's head that way."

They branch to another direction as they move across the leaves and stumps.

"Make sure your toes don't get hurt by those stumps." George notifies. "Okay?"

"Yeah." She replies, shallowly. "But, in this country, another scary thing is, does anyone even have the wolf power? Does anyone know about it?"

"Hmm... I'm not sure anyone does but we can do it secretly." George replies, the leaves rustle, a whistle blows and seems to blare the environment in few minutes to come.

"We simply can't. If you get too annoyed, you'll transform into your wolf. They might ban us from college."

"I guess we have to stop talking." George says. "Did you hear that sound?"

"What sound? The whistles?" She replies.

"Yes." George says. "Fast, let's go! I can see three figures approaching."

"No. Don't scurry my feet. Those are the ones appointed to kidnap me this role around."

"Never!" George yells as he takes her hands into his much more tightly, and runs with her to a cage.

"Come on come on, hide here." He tells her and they both dodge behind a cage. "I see. They are hunters? Hunters by 4:20pm?"

"Did mum or dad call?" Kellie asks.

"They did but I didn't take any of their calls. I wasn't interested so I declined it and sent them WhatsApp messages."

"Look." Kellie points at one of the hunters. "That hunter seems familiar."

"Hold on." George replies as he squints his eyes and peer into the hunter's face.

"Oh my my, maybe a twin. They ain't hunters. I don't know the third person but these two moping around and seeming to have lost something are Clarissa and Cole."

Kellie sharply exhales.

"They followed us here again?" George sighs. "If I had the demon power, I would have been caught easily. Demons only slightly smell wolves, they don't have the real smell. But demons to demons? My God!"

"Can you go now?" Kellie breathes out, shakily.

"Don't repeat it." George replies. "Hold on. Seems they are heading towards the note. Let's go!"

He jerks her up and they both bend their backs to fit the level of cage so their heads or upper bodies won't show and or be noticed.

George runs with all his might, trying his best not to give his wolf the control. Kellie gasps for air and stops him in his tracks once they get to a mini road.

"At least we now see people. Can we rest a bit?" She asks, breathing heavily.

"Okay. I'll hug you this way and then I'll slowly take you to the hostel. You have to be somewhere safe and locked." George sniffles. "Please, Kellie. I can't summon white wolves in this country. We are only two."

"Okay." She submits. "Let's cross to the other side and ask where the hostel is." She replies, and her clock ticks.

4:45pm.

"George..." She calls him and her voice breaks. "... I'm tired of life! I'm tired."

"I'm so sorry, Kellie. Think of me too. I'm here for you, I swear." George encourages her and once he sees that the road is clear, they move with their feet scurrying to the other side of the road.

"Yo, man." George stops someone from moving. "Can I..."

The man hits him with his fists and moves away. George slightly winces in pain due to those unexpected blows on his forehead.

"This is a country of bully indeed." Kellie says.

"Here, wow, there!" George yells in excitement but Kellie's gazes are directed at her wristwatch making her face melt into a sad countenance.

"I got the school!" George yells. "That's it. Can you read the name?"

"All Destined College, Ukraine centre." Kellie says.

"Nothing more?" George asks, coldly.

Another person hits them on the way and Kellie notices it's Amanda but she doesn't talk.

"Let's try our luck. Let's head over to the school." George grabs her waist and moves faster across the road as they finally reach the college compound. So wide and real beautiful - with the attractive designed encrypted college name, with the high school uniforms the lower high school students wear and with the dazzling and bright colors placed at both ends of the "enter" and "exit", George really knows now that it's gonna be a great school.

"George." Kellie says and a lone tear drops from her eyes. "It's 4:53pm."

"I know." George clips.

"Hello Sir. Can I please get the direction to Skulls Got You Hostels?" He asks a man sitting by the entrance. The man gives him the up-and-down look and scoffs.

"What are you children doing here?" He scoffs again. "Here is not meant for you. The dungeon is meant for you."

"Don't be rude to them." Another man approaches but with a gun.

"I'm only telling them the fact."

"Hey George and Kellie?" The man with a gun beckons to them to come over to him. They go over to him, and greet him.

"Here is Ukraine. We don't do anything more than this normal world. I hope you're not one of the paranormal beings."

"No, we are not." George replies.

"Straight up there. Go straight to the first room you see, there, wait for me." The man instructs as they use the five minutes left to get there.

George jerks the door open and wobbles in with Kellie. Now remaining two minutes.

George moves around the office while he makes sure every where is tightly locked and secure, he sees Kellie sobbing but he can't help it. After a, he's doing his possible best.

"5:00pm." The clock ticks. The wrist watch on Kellie's wrist ticks as well, making George's heart pound while Kellie stares blankly at the walls.

Then, there comes a figure in the wall, breaking through and yelping. Kellie looks up and walks up to George as she holds onto him tightly. They both see the animal like a human being approaching. To get away through the door, more animals invade the room. Kellie yells on top of her voice but more animals come.

"That's the man. Quick, let's go meet him." Kellie splutters as George hits an animal and Kellie successfully breaks through the wall and heads outside. George gets stuck in as he keeps fighting those animals. He fought them for good ten minutes with his wolf power. He has to leave the room and so he does. He moves to the backyard and transforms into his human form. Then he moves fast as he heads into the office. Shocking, he doesn't see any scratches or breaking bits on the wall, instead, they are as plain as ever. He enters the office fearlessly and luckily, he sees the man sitting with no one in front of him. His mind becomes elated as he moves to the seat in his front.

"Hello Sir. I'm here."

"I've been waiting for you. Where is Kellie?"

"Sir?"

"I said, where is Kellie? Or didn't you come with her?"

George becomes speechless and this whole situation seems inconceivable to him.

"Kellie came to meet you when they were..." He stutters. "... i don't understand."

"We were coming to meet you when we saw you approaching but Kellie moved faster than I did."

"No. No one came to meet me. Maybe she met someone else." The man deadpans. "I can't guide you to the hostel now. Go find her and bring her here."

Now, it looks all complicated - he can't go to the hostel, he can't find Kellie but he must find her. Moon goddess has strictly warned him not to find Kellie if she gets lost. If he knew she would get lost just by breaking through before he did, he would rather remain with her in the office and fight those paranormal balloon objects.

"Kellie." George breaks down into tears as he turns his back to the man but faces the door. "Kellie. Please. Where are you?"

He goes on his knees and starts to weep bitterly.

"Hey man." The man notices his actions. "Just go out there and search for her."

"I can't." He replies. "I just can't."

"Why?" The man seems confused.

George unintentionally starts to shift into his wolf, much to the amazement of the man.
