NOT THE MAN-EATER
NOT THE MAN-EATER
CASH: I want you to control and use me.
ISABEL: Of course. Your cock is mine to command tonight. It will only play when I say it can.
CASH: It’s all yours.
ISABEL: Your dick will only receive pleasure tonight when your lips please my pussy just right.
CASH: I’m craving the feeling of your pussy controlling my dick.
I felt myself getting my panties soaked, and my clit pulsating with that greedy need for him.
ISABEL: I have plans for you to explore every inch of my body while you enjoy the view before you dive in…
CASH: I’m yearning for your pussy to discipline my cock.
I was wet and horny now… too wet and horny.
ISABEL: Imagine me playing with myself, imagining it’s you satisfying my every desire… I’m so wet, imagining it’s your fingers playing with me…
CASH: Will you let me eat you in your office? I’m hungry to taste you.
I crossed my legs and swallowed hard, about to reply when my phone started ringing.
It was Philip. My composure instantly went tense and every excitement in my body died.
Something was terribly amiss.
“Hello?” I said as I answered the call.
I was right.
And when I looked at Cash again, I knew he could tell something was wrong. He stopped working with the group and started heading toward me in a hurry, our little tease forgotten.
“What’s wrong?” he asked in a low voice as he reached me.
“We have a dead body,” I told him, already grabbing my bag.
“Where?”
“At the creek by the chapel.”
I heard Cash inhale sharply. “The Man-eater.”
“We need to go,” I said, and on cue, the bell rang. “Class is dismissed, we’ll get the results of your investigation by the next class.”
“Thank you, Miss Moore,” Maya smiled at me as everyone started to disperse.
And as soon as the last person left, I was out of the building heading to my car.
“I’ve been waiting for her to strike for a while now,” Cash rushed out, matching my hasty steps.
“Hmm,” I hummed a reply, tossing him the keys. “You’re driving.”
In the next minute, we were on our way to the chapel.
“I hope she leaves a trail that helps us catch her this time.”
“Hmm,” I replied absentmindedly again, biting on my nail in silent fury. My mind was too busy narrowing down why this death felt… odd.
“Are you okay?” Cash suddenly asked, bringing me back to reality.
“Yes.”
“I was saying, the Man-eater…”
“How do you know she’s the one who did this murder?” I cut him off and saw his brow crease.
“Do you have doubts?” he arched a questioning brow.
“She doesn’t kill in the same scene twice,” I said in a low and thoughtful voice.
“How do you know that?”
“I’ve been handling this case for months. You don’t think I’d have known these things about her killings? We’re focusing on the wrong thing here.”
“Which is?”
“We’re busy tracking her recent kill and finding ways to catch her from what she leaves at the scene. What we should be looking for is where her next kill will happen, and when.”
Cash was silent for a moment, then he sighed. “I suppose you’re right,” he said, and took the turn that led to the chapel.
By the time we got there, the scene was swarming with police officers and detectives.
“Male, early twenties. We found him here by 4:30 a.m. this morning, naked and beaten to death with what looked like a club.”
“I know him!” Cash exclaimed as soon as a junior officer lifted the tarp off the body.
One side of the young man’s face had been disfigured and unrecognizable.
“That’s Cage’s boyfriend,” Cash said in horror, and I remembered when I saw him at Cage’s party.
We both gave each other a knowing stare. Cash instantly turned and walked away from the body, looking like he was having a panic attack.
“This is not the Man-eater,” I pointed out the obvious, looking at the scene. No usual souvenirs, and the murder was messy.
The Man-eater’s work was always clean and precise, like the work of a professional. This young man had been killed horribly.
And when I saw Philip, he was avoiding us on purpose. I knew with the way he made it his mission not to look our way.
I looked at him so hard that I guessed he felt the heat of my eyes boring holes into his skin. He finally turned to see me staring at him, then gave me a small smile and looked away as quickly.
“I know,” I finally answered Cash. But he was breathing heavily and struggling to pull out a stick of cigarette from the pack.
“How…? Why…? Jesus! What did he do to deserve this?” Cash was breaking down, breathing hard and finding an anchor for his crashing mind. “I warned him about Cage.”
“Fuck!”
