Chapter 39: Frustration
~Tricia
"Seth? What are you doing?" I asked, but in hushed tones, trying to break free from his grip.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to get rid of that bastard. I don't care what happens to me after that. I'm just going to kill that man! I'd had enough of him!
I keep trying to break free, but Seth’s grip is as strong as steel.
"Let go of me!" I half-yelled, half-whispered. What is he doing here? I haven't seen him before.
"Isla, please calm down." He tightened his grip on me even more.
"Don't call me that in public! And can you let go of me?" I hissed and stomped his feet.
"Urgh! Fuck!" He groaned as he let me go. I quickly ignored him and emerged from my hiding spot, but it was too late.
They're gone, fuck!
I was this close, the person I've been looking for a long time is almost within my grasp but then vanishes!
I could have made him pay for what he'd done to Luzy and me! I could have punished him for what he'd done in my life! He's the reason behind all of this shit that's happening to me! But he was gone in the blink of an eye! FUCK!
My focused shifted on the wall and began on punching it to express my frustration that I didn't notice my tears sprang freely on my eyes.
I swear I'll kill anyone who tries to stop me now!
Red!
That's all I can see right now. I want blood specifically that bastard's blood. I continued punching the wall until I noticed a small crack form. I didn't care that my fist was swollen and bleeding. I'm not sure how long I punched this wall until I felt weak and tired from crying.
I sagged down on the floor, hugging my legs tightly against my chest and burying my head between my knees. That was my opportunity to end his life. He might have died by now if it hadn't been for Seth.
Fuck him, I quickly look up, remembering that he's the reason I lost that jerk, fortunately he's still here.
He was leaning against the wall, arms crossed across his chest, looking down at me. I stood up without wiping my tear-stained face and gave him a hard-square punch to the face. He didn't dodge or block it, instead allowing my fist to land on his face.
"I deserve that though." He chuckled, wiping the blood from the corner of his lips with his thumb. My arms fall to my sides, but my hand remains curled into a ball, ready to deliver another punch.
"Why did you stop me?" I gritted my teeth at him.
"If I hadn't stopped you, you'd be dead by now." He nonchalantly said.
Me dead? As if I'd allow that to happen to myself.
Yes, I admit that my rage blinded me a while ago, but I still know what I'm going to do, which is to kill that jerk. I delivered another punch to his face, but this time he caught it with his palm.
"Do you have any idea what I'd lost?" My neck is tinged with rage.
"Nope." He responded by popping the letter 'p,' which fueled my anger and frustration.
"But I know what you're planning to do isn't a good idea." He continued, I was about to pull my arms back, but he held them tightly before leaning down level to my face.
"Who is he?"
"It's none of your fucking business." I let out a hiss.
"Uhuh, did you forget? Remember, you're my fiancée. So whatever your business is, it is also mine." He chastised me, letting go of my hand, standing straight and looking up, as if he found something interesting above.
"It is him, isn’t it?" He asked without looking at me.
"The one who kidnapped you ten years ago?" He continued, looking down at me.
"Yes." I responded haltingly.
"Ah, so that explains why." He uttered with a slight nod of his head.
"How come you didn't kill him?" He asked snarkily. I give him a stern look. What he said caused my mind to race. As if it wasn't his fault, I didn't kill that jerk!
"Fuck Seth! Don't make a fool of me! You already know why I hadn’t kill him! You fucking robbed me of that opportunity! I could have killed him if you hadn't just stopped me! I could have peace right now!" I yelled, not caring if anyone could hear, though I know I'd be sorry if that happened.
"Do you really believe you can easily kill him with that rash act of yours?" He scolded me calmly, but his eyes tell me otherwise, and my brow furrows quickly. He sighed and looked at me intently before continuing what he was about to say.
"Do you think he'd just come here and lower his guard knowing you killed Cheska?" He asked me whispering the part that I killed Cheska.
It transpired to me that what he said was right. He must have a swarm of snipers stationed around this area, waiting for someone to assault him. He could have a hundred guards roaming around, outnumbering me. What I did earlier was a completely stupid idea and I hadn't considered the risk.
I just let my rage get the best of me, even though I knew what I was doing, and that didn't change the fact that I couldn't kill him right now. Stupid! How could I have been so careless?
"You're right." I whisper lowering my head, this is so embarrassing.
"Yeah think so." I felt him approaching me, and I was expecting him to laugh at me or piss me off because of what I did, but I was mistaken. He took out a white handkerchief and gently wrapped it around my bleeding hand. He slowly wraps it around my swollen hand and ties it just tight enough not to hurt.
"Don't hurt yourself again." He flatly stated, I looked up at him straight in the eyes, and I saw a hint of sadness on it, but it flashed away.
"We need to get back to the chapel. Your friends may be worried by this point." He gently pushed my back guiding me and we began to walk.
I'm not sure why Seth is doing this to me. I've never been good to him, and he wasn't either until recently.
I would have liked him if he had kept doing this to me. I mean, fuck who wouldn't? By looks, he seems to have it all. Nevertheless, just don’t mind his temper and attitude.
Can someone tell me why I was thinking this way please? Uhrgh.
"Where have you been, Tricia? You said you were just going to the restroom, but you took forever. I thought you were flushed down the toilet." Jaffy sniggered at me as soon as I neared them.
"Yes, Tricia, and also—hey Jaffy, she's with her fiancée, maybe they just did something for a while." Miette gave me double meaning glances the moment she saw Seth’s with me. Her eyebrows lifting up and down consecutively and grinning like an idiot.
Tsk, I know what’s going around her head with this green minded bitch.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't realize your Prince Charming was with you." Jaffy said with a wink, thinking the same thing as Miette did.
I felt my throat become dry, so I excused myself to get some water. I overheard Jaffy comment that it might take me forever to get some water again, but I ignored him.
I was drinking my water when I accidentally bumped into someone. Luckily, I had already emptied my glass when we collided.
"I'm sorry for not looking." I quickly apologized, lowering my head as a sign of respect. A deep familiar voice chuckled, causing my head to snap up.
"It's all right, darling. It wasn't your fault." I stiffen and can't believe he's standing right in front of me.
