Chapter 20 : Stay with me

After kissing Tani for a few moments, Anu wanted to separate from her and said, "Forgive me, I acted like a stupid. I'm sorry I shouldn't have done this."

Tani realised that Anu is also in the same page as she is. Anu is in love with her so desperately. She was doing all those acts due to her unconditional love for her. Tani smiled.

Tani held Anu's waist tightly and said, "You didn't do anything wrong. Can you hear me? You didn't do anything wrong." Tani cupped Anu's face in her palm and touched her forehead to Anu's. Anu started crying uncontrollably then.

Anu could not resist herself after hearing Tani's words. She hugged her love tightly. She kept crying hiding her face in Tani's embrace. Tani caressed her beloved and hold her tightly in her arms and kissed her forehead.

Tani said, "Let it all go, I won't stop you today. I know my words hurt you but I didn't mean it that way. I wanted you to speak your truth. And your actions showed it. You know, you are really my one and only half-mate. And no one would never ever replace that place from my heart."

"I.. love.. you... I can't see you with anyone else.", Anu started to say in a tearful voice.

"I love you more than anything else. I can never think of hurting you.", Tani said in a calm voice rubbing Anu's back gently.

After a while Anu calmed down and looked at Tani and said, "I'm sorry for suspecting you. I thought that you both are in a relationship."

"That's okay. I know she desperately wanted to kiss me, so I was stopping her. She told me earlier that she liked me, but I told her that I wasn't interested. But she was forcing me to go into a relationship with her.", Tani told the truth.

"You didn't even let me know earlier that so much was happening to you. You are so bad.", Anu angrily pulled herself out of Tani's embrace.

"Arehh.. Hey hey..", Tani said and hold Anu's hand.

"Leave me.", Anu said.

"Umm hmm.. I'm not leaving you... If I had told you then you would have killed her on the spot. And I don't want to see my love behind the bars. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. It's not so easy to walk away from me.", Tani said with firm voice.

Hearing Tani's words, Anu furrowed her eyebrows, "So am I a serial killer?"

"Who can say! Love makes people do so many things. Like...", Tani stopped and looked at Anu.

"Like what?", Anu asked with a curious face.

"I cycled at this night to see someone, jumped from the doors, climbed the pipes... but maybe she doesn't want me here. So it's better to leave when the meeting is over. I should probably go now.", Tani said intentionally and got ready to leave. At this time, Anu grabbed Tani's elbow and pulled her, she let out a slight scream in pain.

Anu said, "Oh, what happened? Let me see... Oh.. How did you get an injury on your elbow? Look, the blood is clotted."

"I'm Okay. Nothing happened. It'll be fine. Don't worry.", said Tani.

"Don't talk much. Sit here. Wait, I'm coming.", saying Anu opened the door of the room and went downstairs.

Tani's eyes went to Anu's diary. She took the diary from the table and started flipping the pages. A smile spread across Tani's face as she read the pages.

Tani's face became serious after reading the last written page of the diary. Hearing footsteps, she left the diary again in the same place.

"Show me your hand.", Anu said bringing the first aid box and icebag.

Tani said, "Hey, I'm fine. I don't need all these."

"Tani, shut up. It's gonna be hurt. Is that what you want?", Anu said disappointedly.

"Come on, who cares?", Tani said.

Anu said, "What are you saying? Are you out of your mind? What happened again?"

Tani said, "What! Nothing happened."

Anu put the first-aid box and the icebag on the table and locked the door. Then she came and sat next to Tani. She took Tani's hand in her's and said, "What happened suddenly? Why are you reacting like this?"

Tani took the diary from the table and opened the last page, "What did you write? You wrote about killing yourself!" Saying this she wanted to remove her hand from Anu's.

Anu held her hand tightly. "Tani...", Anu called her in a pitiful and sweet voice.

"I'm sorry. I know it was hard for you. But I wrote whatever came to my mind, I was in a lot of pain then. I was afraid of losing you. (with a pause) Sorry. I will never think about that again.", Anu put her head on Tani's shoulder and said these.

"I know... Anu please don't ever think of harm yourself. You are my world. I don't wanna lose you at any cost.", Tani told Anu.

"Promise. I won't. Now please show me the wound, it needs to be healed.", said Anu.

Anu took care of her hand with antiseptic and ice. After sometimes, Tani grabbed her bag and wanted to leave.

"I should go now. It's getting late.", Tani said looking at her watch.

"Tani.. Wait.. I think it's pretty late, if you don't mind, I'm thinking that ... Uh.. You.. You.. I.. I mean stay with me.", Anu said with her pounding heart and blushing eyes.

Tani didn't expect it at that moment, but hearing Anu's words, her heart also wanted to spend the night with her love.

Anu said again, "Please stay. I don't want you to leave at this time. It's risky. Stay tonight."

"But if mom finds out..", Tani said that and Anu interrupted her.

"I will manage her.. don't worry.", said Anu.

"Okay.. If you say so.. then..", Tani said hiding her feelings.

"Then? You are staying.. right?", Anu said in confusion.

Tani nodded with yes and Anu's heart jumped in happiness. Anu smiled and took Tani's bag.

"You should take rest now, I'll give you some medicine for your wound.", Anu said.

"No no it's fine.. Don't take stress about this.", Tani said after sitting on the bed.

Anu asked her to shut up and brings the painkiller and a glass of water. She gave Tani the medicine and the glass. Anu turned to put the med-box in the drawer when Tani grabbed her hand. Tani drank the water and put the glass on the bedside table and walked towards Anu.

Anu's heart beat increased. Tani came behind Anu and took the med-box from Anu's hand and put it in the front drawer. Anu's breathing and heart rate are increasing simultaneously.

Tani's upper body is touching Anu's back. Tani put her hand on Anu's neck and ran her fingers around. But Tani remained silent and moved her lips to Anu's ear and gave a kiss. Anu started sighing in pleasure. Tani moved her lips to Anu's neck and kissed. Anu turned towards Tani and take deep breathes. Tani moved her lips to Anu's jawline and licked. Tani said in between, "You smell so sweet..". Anu was holding Tani's waist and then moved her hand to her face. Tani's hand was playing around Anu's back. Anu was moaning silently in pleasure. Anu moved her face and kissed Tani's lips. Anu pushed Tani towards bed and they both fell on the bed.
